This house is completely amazing, the full package, from awesome amenities to stunning views! The hosts were also amazing, Mickey and Sharon were super accommodating and prompt with answering any questions we had. We made so many awesome memories with our family and can’t wait to return!

Nothing but great things to say about our stay at this beautiful, clean, cozy cabin. My only complaint would be that my stay wasn’t long enough. We celebrated our 6 year olds birthday with a trip to the mountains, and the lodging did not disappoint. The hosts, Mickey and Sharon, got back with us promptly multiple times- Even when we decided to stay another night with 30 minutes to spare until the check out time. The Nantahala Outdoor Center is 30ish minutes away and offers an array of activities. A small town called Andrews is 30ish minutes away and Franklin is about the same. Still Waters gave us the isolation we desired with the convenient option of sightseeing and checking off our list. Our oldest son caught his first rainbow trout off the dock. We also rented a pontoon boat from the nearby marina and explored the lake. 10/10

This Lake House is by far one of our favorite homes on Nantahala Lake! The views, the home, the entire property and the Host were truly amazing! Every single thing about this place was beautifully done! The hot tub and the seating area with the fire pit was a great addition to all of the other amenities! Mickey and Sharon literally thought of it all and did such a great job with this property! We have stayed in a few homes on Nantahala Lake and also have friends that own a home and it’s safe to say we have found a gem and this will now be our chosen home when we come to the Lake every year! Thank you so much, Mickey and Sharon, for sharing your beautiful home with us and allowing us to make such wonderful memories with our children and grand-besties! We can’t wait to come back next year!

This is new beautifully decorated home with amazing lake views. The drive to the home is very accessible (we made it in a 12 passenger van). The house has 2 single kayaks and 2 paddle boards and plenty of very comfortable life jackets. My teenage boys and their friends had a ton of fun using them during our stay. The beds and linens are super comfortable and the upstairs and downstairs living are great for relaxing and watching some TV. All the kitchen appliances are brand new and the kitchen table sat all 8 of us. Great for family dinners. The patio has 2 extremely comfortable reclining chairs on the upstairs and downstairs deck. The upstairs deck had 4 very comfortable rocking chairs. The hot tub was brand new and worked flawlessly. There is a brand new Blackstone Grill for some grilling fun. The hosts, Mickey and Sharon, were super responsive and very communicative during our stay (checking in to be certain we weren’t having any issues).The one minor issue is in the downstairs bunk room the door doesn’t shut completely due to the size of the bunk beds. So, it does get bright down stairs on sunny mornings. Although, my teenage son and his friend had no issues sleeping through that waking up at 11am on a couple of mornings.Overall, I would highly recommend this house!

The home was excellent and exactly as described. Our family had a great time. The hosts were great at communicating, maybe one of the easiest communication experiences I have experienced on VRBO. The lake was amazing and we spent a LOT of time on it. There were lots of provided water activities there like kayaks, water mat, fishing and more. We rented a boat and they delivered it right to the dock. It rained a lot while we were there so the rest of the time we spent relaxing at the property. The kitchen had everything we needed. There were plenty of linens, toilet paper/paper towels, soaps, shampoo/conditioner and even qtips. You will need bring your own laundry detergent. The hosts thoughtfulness was apparent throughout the home. Thank you so much for a an amazing time in Nantahala!

Our family can’t say enough to explain how awesome this house is on the lake. It is easy and convenient to get to if you are familiar with the area and is a newer modern build. The view is open and the access to the dock was very light to get down to as well. Can watch the kids on the dock while enjoying a cocktail up above which can be rare. The owners Mickey and Sharon are great people and even better hosts. 11/10!

Nantahala Lake is one of the most beautiful places in North Carolina. Pair that with this fantastic home and you have a recipe for an incredible experience.Situated in a quiet and peaceful cove with a modern, but rustic feel, this house is a perfect place to kick back and enjoy a coffee while watching the morning mist come over the Blue Ridge mountains.Over the past 10 years visiting, I’ve had the privilege of staying in multiple homes. This one immediately jumped to a top 3 for me. Sharon and Mickey are great! Be sure to book it while it’s available.
