We stayed in this cute cabin for the Iowa vs Ohio State football game. Ben was a great host and communication was top notch! The cabin was clean and well stocked. Loved the fact we didn't have to go out to a store right away to stock up on necessities. Kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us. We felt safe and secluded on the property. Even had a couple of deer visit us in the morning. Loved the fact that there was a binder with lots of information in it for the cabin and the surrounding area. It is a cozy little cabin but fit our needs perfectly.

This house worked well for our trip. Had a maintenance issue with the oven, but hosts were quick to respond and the space was generally clean and regularly maintained. Cabin felt relatively remote on a farm road with only one neighboring property across the pond visible from the property. Lots to do nearby. Access to some short trails, hot tub, and firepit/firewood on property was handy for our outdoor adventure.

We couldn’t get down to the pond, due to the tall weeds and grass. In spite of this, our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We found a zip line in the woods on one of the trails, and the grandkids LOVED it! We also enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. We couldn’t figure out the arcade game, but our grandkids found plenty of other things to do, including numerous games of kick ball. The host, Ben, was very attentive and answered our questions or concerns immediately. Nice property!

The Hosts were very amenable to our needs as we needed to check in early due to a death in the family. The house was clean, had plenty of space and was decorated in a way, we felt truly comfortable. I loved the shadowed of the old tobacco products! Amazing scenery as well.

Host went above and beyond which we are so grateful for. Lots of information and recommendations are laid out right when you get there. Such a great home away from home.

Über den Gastgeber

We’re local owners who take pride in creating a place where guests can truly relax, unwind, and enjoy their time together. This cabin isn’t just an investment property for us—it’s a space we’ve thoughtfully set up to feel comfortable, welcoming, and easy to enjoy from the moment you arrive.

We focus on the details that matter: a clean and well-maintained home, comfortable beds, a fully stocked kitchen, and spaces designed for both relaxing and spending time together. Whether it’s a quiet morning with coffee, a family movie night, or an evening around the fire, we want your stay to feel effortless and memorable.

We’re also responsive and easy to reach if anything comes up during your stay. At the same time, we respect your privacy and want you to feel like you have the space to fully enjoy the property.

Our goal is simple—to provide a smooth, comfortable experience and a place you’d want to come back to again.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

We chose this location for its rare combination of convenience and true privacy. Being just 15 minutes from the Quad Cities means guests have easy access to restaurants, shopping, events, and several highly rated golf courses—while still being able to return to a quiet, peaceful setting at the end of the day.

This area offers the kind of space and natural surroundings that are hard to find closer to town. The property is tucked into the countryside, where you can enjoy wildlife, open views, walking trails, and a small creek right in the backyard. It’s the perfect environment to slow down, unplug, and recharge.

At the same time, its proximity to the Quad Cities makes it ideal for a wide range of stays—whether you’re visiting family, in town for an event, planning a golf trip, or simply looking for a weekend escape that doesn’t require a long drive.

We wanted a place that felt like a true getaway without sacrificing convenience, and this location delivers exactly that balance.

Das macht diese Unterkunft einzigartig

What makes this cabin unique is the combination of space, privacy, and experience—something that’s hard to find this close to the Quad Cities.

While you’re only 15 minutes from downtown, the property feels completely removed, surrounded by quiet countryside, wildlife, walking trails, and a small creek running through the backyard. It offers the best of both worlds: convenience and true escape.

The layout is designed for groups to comfortably stay together while still having room to spread out. With three levels, a loft-style master suite with private balcony, and a large lower-level entertainment space, guests can gather or relax separately without feeling crowded.

Unlike many cabins, this one is built for both relaxation and fun. Guests love the theater-style TV setup, arcade games (Golden Tee Golf and Big Buck World), popcorn machine, and spacious bunk room—making it ideal for families, golf groups, or weekend getaways.

Outdoor living is a highlight, with a fire pit, patio space, and peaceful natural setting. Soon, a brand-new 7-person saltwater hot tub will add another level of relaxation, perfect for unwinding under the stars after a day of golf or exploring.

This isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a place to reconnect, relax, and enjoy time together in a private, comfortable setting.
