We’ve stayed at Kiawah for about 8 years and this was our favorite spot. It was sparkling clean, had a gorgeous view with a table on the balcony for us to enjoy our meals. Bedding and towels were good quality and the window seat was an added touch! The location cannot be beat. Beach is steps away and we also loved walking to The Nest for coffee each day.

Beach view was great - right out the window, condo was clean and just as we saw in the pictures, the location is really convenient - situated between and easy walking distance to Nest/Treehouse and Sanctuary/tennis courts… we would certainly rent this location again.

I received an email the day before we were to check in to say there was construction going on in the unit next to where we were to stay. Several other properties were offered to us. We enjoyed our stay very much.

This is a great location and overall the property is quite nice EXCEPT the bed is awful. Big gutter down the middle. Also only a queen in a bedroom with room for a king. The tv had no choice of stations. Only local Charleston news, for example. The owner obviously opted for a cheap cable package, trusting that visitors would only want to stream movies. At this price point, disappointing. Both smoke alarms kept going off—sign of need for maintenance/new batteries. We called Ellis Akers. Crickets. So we unplugged them. Hmmm.how safe is that?

Windswept 4420

This is a beautiful property. We absolutely loved our stay. The condo is just steps away from the boardwalk and the view from the balcony is amazing. The only thing I would advise to other travelers would be to bring a couple extra towels. Only 2 bath towels were provided so we were doing quite a bit of laundry. Other than that, the week was perfect!

Great location. The kitchen was very nicely equipped for a rental, equipment-wise. Absolutely no condiments left (oil, salt, pepper) which is fair. Probably “disposed of “ by the cleaning crew. Just plan accordingly. The view is beautiful. Only concern was some moisture in the master bath, but Alers Ellis said they’d fix it after we left. I’d highly recommend this condo for a couple.

Very Nice Play to Stay

Was looking for a one bedroom. Convenient. Plenty of space and fully furnished. Need to replace the couch. Just do it. 1990s. Everything else is great.

Wanted to stay

Every so often you visit a place and it feels so good and relaxing you think “I could live here”. That’s how I felt at Windswept. The covered patio, ease of access to the beach, privacy, cleanliness…. I could go on and on. I will definitely be back. The island slows you down and that’s exactly what I wanted. A+++

Beautiful view

Condo was beautiful, view was amazing. Front door was hard to get into looks like its been that way for awhile. My only concern was the black mold on the crown molding in the bed room above the bed. Beautiful views, Clean, Just Perfect!

We found this Villa very updated, clean, with plenty of nice linens in the bedroom, bathrooms, and kitchen. There were plenty of utensils, supplies & cookware for the kitchen to make our meals which we did each night. There was sufficient dish detergent & laundry detergent as well as toilet paper. The Villa was updated with nice, new appliances throughout, granite countertops, a beautiful shower, gorgeous window shutters, smart televisions with soundbars, hardwood floors and a deck overlooking the beach. The credit with VayK allowed us a couple of beach chairs, bikes and cooler for extra fun and convenience. I have been vacationing at Kiawah for 36 years and this was one of the most beautiful places I’ve had the good fortune to visit on the island. I can’t think of one negative thing to say! We will be back!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit's updating was done with high quality and we liked the changes to the layout. The unit was also very clean. And you can't beat the location and view. Staying here helped make our Thanksgiving great. Just two things to consider: both the sofa and patio chairs are very worn and difficult to sit in for any period of time.
