Excellent place to stay!

Me and my 13 other family members stayed here for a week on our family vacation to Florida. It was an excellent place to stay. Very spacious with enough rooms and beds for everyone! The pool and hot tub were a huge hit for both the adults and kids. The game room was awesome also! Definitely would stay here again!

Great Location- Small issues

Location was as described. Had an issue with the water not heating, but responses from contact were quick. Game room was ok, there was only one ball to use for the ping pong table, and none for the foosball table. Lots of space in the house, parking was simple, and we had 3 cars.

They ceiling leaked so bad in kitchen, it was all over the floor and counters. We reported they said it was an a:c leak and came to repair, but while attempting to repair….left a/c off…and didn’t turn back on…we arrived after a long hot park day to the temp in house being 82 degrees….at 11 at night….called…they did come and turn on…but was so hot couldn’t sleep that night as it took till morning to cool down house….woke again to water everywhere…called again..and…the kids bed was literally nailed together so the part that holds the mattress on the bed would stay on….it broke of course so called again….cane and screwed the bed for another temp fix ( as this has happen before or would not be nailed like it was). Washing machine has rust all over it…needs replaced!! It is a very nice house in a great location with lots of room……and could be a really really nice place to stay but needs some maintenance and things replaced……..we loved the actual house but needs repairs and replacements

Don’t rent this house!!!!

The property sleeps 14, I had 12, they provide pots and pans to cook for 2 people!!!! Makes no sense at all. When I called property manager I was told they don’t own the home it’s not their responsibility, so we ended up with over $300 in groceries thrown away and had to eat out the whole time. The furniture is cheap and in poor condition!!! One of the dining room chairs almost collapsed it was so crappy and the table is super wobbly .The sliding glass door was gapped open and we could not close it. They never picked up the trash but will tell you to put it out daily or you will be charged an excess fee. I had to call and they picked it up Once!!! How do you expect 12 people to only have trash one time during a 6 day stay? The hot tub didn’t work and they came and fixed it, half the bedroom fans and tv’s don’t work and are super tiny. Over all it was not worth the $3k spent on it. A vacation should be relaxing, I shouldn’t be calling about maintenance and trash issues!!!!!! I also should not have had to spend so much to eat out. The comforter on the king suite is stained and bleached. I don’t think that they wash them in between guest and probably the main reason my family caught covid while there. Find a different place …. You will regret renting here!

HI Angela, I’m sorry to hear about your concerns but I hope you were able to have an enjoyable time in Florida. Thanks for your input we have alerted maintenance and they are taking care of everything you mentioned. When you called the office asking for a bigger saucepan, we immediately delivered new ones. Regarding the garbage, I will pass this review to the resort management team as they are responsible for the garbage pick-up schedule.

Won’t Stay Here Again!!

I rented this property based on the OUTDATED on line pictures!! Don’t get me wrong, the property has the potential to be very nice if the owner took time to make some home improvements. The home looked very clean on-line but upon arrival I was VERY disappointed. The carpeting on the the stairs was filthy!!!! All of the carpets need to be replaced!! I had my 20 month old granddaughter with me and was disgusted that she had to crawl/play in these dirty floors. I wore flip flops the whole time I was there. The living room rug was dirty and stained as well. I’m not sure why it hasn’t been replaced. Also, one of the smoke detectors had a low battery and was chirping very loudly. I called property management immediately to make them aware of all the problems and they said they would call their carpet cleaning company to come out but no one ever showed up. Maintenance did come to change the battery in the smoke detector the next day but it was chirping again by nightfall. The faux leather chairs at the kitchen counter are ripped, the pots and pans were not clean. I had to make a trip to Walmart for dish detergent in order to cook. At the end of my stay I went into the office of Florida Scandi to talk to someone in an effort to try to recoup some of the rental fees due to my dissatisfaction and I was sent to a different office that was about 3 miles away. I arrived at this office to find all of the doors were locked. Finally someone inside saw me and came to the door. I voiced all of my concerns to her only for her to tell me I had to file my complaint via email (so a wasted trip). I emailed Florida Scandi and they acknowledged my email and said someone would be in touch in a couple of days. It’s been over a week and I am still waiting to here something.

July 2022 family vacation

We had a great time there. House was just like photos. Communication with management was also great. The house was beautiful and extremely spacious for our family. Will recommend to others and stay there in the future. Location of property was also a plus as it was near just about anything. The resort was also enjoyable as there was a water park, movie theater, convenience store etc. Also felt safe as it was a gated community and security canvassed the property regularly. Great vacation spot!

Would not recommend

Here is a list of the things that were wrong! Most of the rooms were missing light bulbs, no batteries in the remotes, bad TV in living room, wobbly table leg, cobwebs in dining room, poop on 2 bathroom walls, trash already in our trash bin and the rules were not followed, low level of water in pool (told us to use the hose to add water ourselves), broken patio door handle (they did come and fix that), hanging paint in a bathroom, wobbly knife blade (totally unsafe), 2 10" skillets for a house that sleeps 14, and we were only allowed 1 roll of toilet paper/bathroom and 2 trash bags for a group of 13 for 9 days. They also wanted copies of the front and back of my credit card. I was not comfortable with that but I provided it so we could do a pre-check.

Disney 2022

The property was beautiful and as described. The house has a few cosmetic issues but overall it was the perfect place for our family to relax after exploring Disney. The grandkids enjoyed the pool and the hot tub was wonderful!!! The house fit 10 people with room to spare. I recommend checking in online as the property did not have our reservation information from Scandi Vacations on site. Overall, we had a great experience and I would highly recommend.

This placed served us very well, the locations was perfect and the Cabana Bar at the pool was a big hit for our group. Our only complaint was that the AC did not work effectively, with the cold air return directly above the thermostat, the home seemed to be around 80+ degrees at times...

Property Not Maintained

This is not our first time staying at this resort. However I must say this is the first house that we experienced so many issues. When we arrived the pool was cloudy and slimy. We saw 6 roaches during our stay. The refrigerator leaked due to the ice maker not working properly. Both back sliding door locks were broken they had to come out and replace them. We had a maintenance guy in our house 6 days out of our 7 day stay. We asked to be relocated but they only had a smaller unit and that wouldn’t work. I sent 6 emails to the property management since the reservation department couldn’t do anything about our concerns. My family was unable to use the pool for the first 3 days of our stay, we had 2 pool guys come out and they both agreed the pool was not clean. I’m waiting on the property manager to contact me to set up some type of compensation due these issues. I provided videos and pictures. This was suppose to be a relaxing vacation for my family but it only started to get better after the 4th day.

The experience of VRBO was wonderful. The home was beautiful!!!!! I will definitely use this home and management company in the future.
