Family Vacation

Check in process was easy. The property was just as described. We enjoyed having all the space and really enjoyed the two living areas, as some of the kids would watch TV upstairs. Figuring out the TV's and multiple remotes was a little bit of a hassle but I think we worked through that. We had a great time staying here.

Great house

We had a group stay at the house and we all loved it! The pool and hot tub were used a lot! The location was great and easy to find, we didn't use the big pool at the resort but it looked amazing. The house was clean and plenty big with bedrooms and bathrooms to spare and the living room upstairs was a nice extra space to spread out in. Would definitely stay again!

Great location home is dated

Check in and communication with management company was great. We had two families (10 adults , 1 infant). The place overall was clean except for the rugs. They are in dire need of cleaning and replacement. Stains were everywhere on stairs and bedrooms. We have stayed in previous homes in the same development and none have been this bad. We also noticed that they were not enough plates. they had some staged on the table, but only a few in the cabinet. also no salt and pepper Just make sure you bring your own. Refrigerator ice maker does not work either. Washer and dryer are very old as well loud and noisy. and they did an OK job getting clothes clean but the dryer left lots of lint on clothes. We requested service because the microwave was not working. It was a Sunday morning and they said they would send somebody. Nobody ever showed up . Monday morning, I contacted the management company and let them know that we were able to fix the problem it was a circuit breaker. The hot tub took a extremely long time to heat up Almost 2 hours before it will become a temperature of a hot tub. The pool was a bit dirty and probably needs a thorough cleaning. on the day of checkout at exactly 9:59 am, the doorbell rings and it's the cleaning crew. We were packing the cars and I just found it odd and felt rushed. We were out by 10:10. I told the cleaning crew that they could come in but they chose to wait in the car. Great location but probably not my favorite house we rented.

The home was amazing we stayed for 3 nights and 2 days we spent majority of our time at animal kingdom then magic kingdom the rooms were huge and comfortable the pool area was nice the children enjoyed the pool it was so much food in the area … the only issue we had was the microwave didn’t work other than that we really enjoyed this home

3 family stay

We had a great stay here. It was myself, my 3 kids (15,12, & 7), my sister, her husband, and their 4 kids (15, 13, 11, & 9), our mom and step dad. Condo was very spacious and we didn't once feel we were on top of each other. We didn't have a single issue and loved the fact that we could all fit comfortably in the pool.

Vacation stay

The house was very nice. Plenty of room. We had 10 people. The only thing was the fuse kept blowing for the microwave. The cleaning crew needs to move the furniture and dressers to clean better. We would stay again. Very close to Disney and other adventures. Easy check in if you do the pre check in.

We as a family stayed in this house. The house has 2 masters, its bigger than I thought. 2 living room areas. Larger dinning room with open concept to living room and kitchen. Plenty of space. We had Mom & Dad, 2 adult children and spouses, 5 grand kids, 1 adult friend and my oldest daughters mother n law. We had plenty of room for more. Pool was nice and clean, hot tub was HOT! Checkin and out was easy with email and preregister. Walmart with in 2-3 miles. Food places and gift stores. Overall would rent this again.

Family Trip

Overall my family and I enjoyed our stay at the Paradise Palms Resort. The property was as described, the property was exactly how the pictures showed. The property itself was very spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The kids LOVED every minute of the private pool located in back of the property. The best decision ever. There were a couple of things that were not so good. One being the washer in the laundry room only worked if you have it on the cold water temperature otherwise it will not turn on. Two there should be a way to latch the garbage bench located on the front porch so that local wildlife cannot get into the trash. We couldn't put any trash out until morning because there was a raccoon that kept getting into the trash bench. Other than that we had a great stay. My family and I will definitely stay again!!

Family Vacation

This is our third year in a row staying at this property and my family absolutely loves it. I love the fact it’s in a gated community and the security makes rounds all the time. The location is perfect because we are close to everything yet we are secluded. We probably will be staying again next year. My advice to anyone is to preregistration that way you can go straight to the property.

Kids Summer Start Vacay

The overall of the property was amazing. There was more thab enough space for my family to enjoy and relax. It was thw beginning of the kids summer and this helped the group to unwind. The kids enjoyed the pool to the entirety. The only thing that was a no go was the one trash bag for the entire weekend and the air conditioner situation. We were only allowed to set the air to 72° which was still too hot for the amount of space to be covered. We were up throughout the night because of the air discomfort. Overall property we would love to visit again.

Great Alternative to a Disney Resort

Stayed here for my daughter’s soccer tournament at Disney and turned it into an extended family vacation. We’d stayed at a Disney resort a few years prior, but enjoyed this as a less expensive and more flexible alternative. The house was spacious and nice, with most of the basics we needed for the week. We just had to get some extras like toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, and food, but otherwise it was ready to move in. There were a few minor issues with the hot water, light fixtures, etc., but the very courteous maintenance person came right away to address. There were also several cosmetic issues that I was sure to video as soon as we arrived to ensure it was noted they weren’t our fault (dings and scratches on walls and furniture, missing light cover, utility cover missing, etc.), but these didn’t impact the quality of my stay. My only very minor gripe is the 4PM check in, which to be fair was made clear upon booking, and although somewhat comparable to a hotel’s typical 3pm check in, is a bit less flexible. Also the checkout process wasn’t as clear as the check in process, occurred at 10am which is about an hour earlier than a typical hotel, and housekeeping rang the doorbell at 10:00 sharp. I emailed to make sure I didn’t miss anything regarding the checkout process and don’t think I got a response, so hopefully there were no issues. Overall we enjoyed our stay and I would definitely come back and try to get this same house.

Great Family Vacation

Our overall stay was excellent. This is the second time my family stayed at this property. A few upgrades have been done since our stay in 2020 which is always a plus. However, housekeeping did not do a good job cleaning before our stay, bathrooms were not thoroughly cleaned, and trash was left in one of the upstairs bedroom. I’m hoping this was just a hiccup and will not happen with future stays. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely consider booking this property for our next vacation.

40th Birthday Celebration

This was a wonderful experience! The property was great, the management company was attentive and easy to communicate with, & the neighborhood was lovely. Our only negative would’ve been that people took the 10pm quiet time very seriously, so you couldn’t be in the pool after 10, but it wasn’t a huge deal since we’re tired after Disney anyway. I think if we’d had different neighbors it wouldn’t have been such a big deal, as we weren’t that noisy. However, the property security were so nice about it and it was fine. Overall, I would highly recommend this property to any large group traveling to Disney!

Great stay

Had a group of 9 women for a Disney themed bachelorette trip for 4 days. House had more than enough beds and bathrooms for the group. Everything was clean, very little clutter of decorations and other items. Plenty of seating for dining and lounging. Pool was great but hot tub never got warm enough to be used, despite many attempts fo heat it up. Kitchen was great for large portion cooking but pretty minimal utensils, only the bare minimum. Location was great! About 20 minutes from all Disney locations and very close to Disney springs. Owner was very responsive regarding a trash pick up issue, which was resolved within a few hours. Over a really great stay! Highly recommend for larger groups wanting access to a resort type neighborhood and close drives to Disney!

The pictures are old- broken beds, dust everywhere !

My family and I stayed at Paradise palms on Aug 16th to 24th. There were some issues. When we arrived one of the toy story rooms had two twin beds but a broken bed frame was in the closet, it was not listed like that in the photo. The dishwasher soap dispenser was broken so we could not use the dishwasher, I left a message with maintenance and no one responded. This was inconvenient because I had to worry about dishes on my vacation. The other bedroom also had a broken bed. As soon as my sister sat on it, it collapsed and looked like the wrong screws in it. The refrigerator was missing a shelf so you could hardly fit food in it. Also when the ice machine was turned on it leaked, so we had to use multiple towels so we would not slip. Another thing is we paid for the cleaning fee. The place is definitely not clean. There was dust on all the lamp shades. There was years of dust on the AC vent. The neighbors next door were partying all night and since that was against the rules we called multiple times to complain and they said nothing could be done. I am very disappointed with the multiple things that were wrong.

Needs a lot of cleaning and maintenance

This property is very poorly managed and apparently never has any maintenance done. We were registered with 12 people and when we arrived there was only six bath towels no hand towels at all no washcloths at all no dish towels no potholders. We received additional towels on the second day and potholders on the third. Kitchen is scarcely stocked, there were only seven forks and that was all, there were eight glasses and three juice glasses and that was it, there was not one single mixing bowl of any type we had to mix pancake batter in the iced tea pitcher, there was not one single baking dish I had to call and they brought me one on the third day. Obviously we had to go out and buy our own silverware and large cups so we could actually all eat and drink dinner together. As far as maintenance apparently the owners never come down and look around. The AC struggled and ran constantly and then we noticed that the filter to the AC was so clogged with dust and dirt probably hasn’t been changed in three years it was actually being sucked into the system. The concrete around the hot tub had mold and black slime because of poor drainage it was gross we could not even sit up there. The area where the table and six chairs were on the lanai had spills and stains and gum stuck in it never been power washed or even hosed off. The screen had a huge rip in it so bugs were able to get into the lanai area. Inside the house the beds are clean and the bathroom were relatively clean but the carpets are dirty and I don’t think they sweep the first floor there was confetti deflated balloons under the coffee table and couches apparently from a previous party. One of the twin bed frames in the upstairs bedrooms apparently was previously broken so the boxspring and mattress were on the floor and the bedframe was shoved in the closet so the closet was not usable. The kitchen floor was slightly sticky and the white grout the tiles was black . The refrigerator had two broken shelves that were removed from refrigerator and put in the pantry, when I mentioned it to the management company when they arrived with our towels they said yes it has been reported but they did not fix it. It is very disappointing to see a house that has so much potential being so poorly managed. I would encourage the owners to call me directly and I can email you some of the pictures that I took because apparently no one is managing his house properly.

Good value for money but property needs repairs and better cleaning

We had stayed in this neighborhood 4 years ago in a similar house and were very impressed with the condition and comfort of that property, so it was easy to select another Paradise Palms house for this trip. Unfortunately, the condition and cleanliness of this house did not compare to our previous experience. The photos were obviously taken when the house was new. It was okay, but disappointing to see marked up walls, broken slats in the vertical blinds, missing shelves in the refrigerator, evidence of leaks in the ceiling of the kitchen, etc. The mattresses are also in need of replacement. The A/C was very noisy upstairs and the filter in the ceiling was very dirty, and fortunately the maintenance company was able to come improve that the first day. An issue with water leaking from the refrigerator was reported but not addressed. It was intermittent, and it wasn't from dropped ice cubes. The company also sent a person to clean when we mentioned that the floors did not appear to have been cleaned for our arrival. There was visible dirt on the carpets, trash easily visible under beds, and the tile floors were sticky enough to leave dirt on our bare feet. She did her best to clean the floors quickly, but I continued to find areas of dried up crud all over the floors and in the corners. Pretty evident that the cleaning has not been done properly for a long time. The counter tops in the kitchen were also dirty with bits of dried on food. I should be the one paid for cleaning this house instead of paying a cleaning fee! Fortunately I wasn't planning to do much cooking because there isn't much in terms of kitchen supplies. There are very basic items but no larger pots or serving bowls. No measuring spoons and limited drinkware considering the size of the house. The toaster, coffee pot and tea kettle worked fine. The number of towels and hangers provided were just barely enough for our party of 6. Larger parties may have an issue. We had a good time in spite of all this. There is a lot of space for the money. Just keep your expectations in check and remember that all houses are not equal, even in the same community.

Where was the property mangers?

We stayed for 6 days. Day 3 or 4 things began to mess up starting with the refrigerator. It started to leak water, then 2 of the bathrooms toilets won’t flush and 2 different bathrooms you had to hit the tub knot to make the water stop running. I Went to the check building they told me since I booked through VRBO I had to go through them to make a request to get someone to come out and fix these problems. So, I did called VRBO they said put in 2 orders but no one showed up. I had 2 disabled aunts and 5 kids. Thank God no one fell and hurt themselves. Over all the stay was great but I wish some who have a lease came out and looked at the leaking refrigerator.

This house was perfect, close to all disney parks.

We were able to travel to Disney parks and to two different beaches. Beds could be updated ( mattress and frames) other than that it was perfect. Pool was amazing and had warm water. We didn't cook there much many amazing restaurants close by. Clean and worth the hard beds. Oh and the picture by the back door for the pool needs to be raised (hard to turn the light off the picture would just turn it back on). Had a blast would stay here again.

Terrific Vacation

We had a few issues but everything was resolved swiftly. The place is larger than it looks from the outside. Perfect location to all the Amusement Parks. Parking will be an issue if you have over 2 vehicles. My kids enjoyed the pool area day and night. The staff is really nice. If your traveling with a large party bring a few extra towels or make sure you wash every time you get a load of towels, we did both. We are looking forward to booking same place next June. Bring some detergent, soap, tissue and paper towels. There are probably 3 to 4 Walmart’s in a 5 mile radius depending on which way you wanna go. Oh and bring extra blankets also. You can have 13 people comfortably with everyone having their own space.
