Overall had a great stay in the house. There are plenty of golf courses in the area and national parks to visit if wanting to venture out. The family even went to a nearby waterfall that was a short hike after driving to the park.

The house was filled adequately with bedding, towels, dishes, laundry, and entertainment options. The couch downstairs also folds into a bed, which the pictures did not point out. I would say that you can sleep comfortably 7 in the house.

Big plus for use of kayaks and inflatable tubes for the lake. Size of house allowed for seperation and kids play area if needed.

Some negatives...which to me are very minor and should not sway your opinion from staying are: backyard was not cut and height of grass made use of that area impossible. Also made trekking up the slope difficult to see steps. Cleaning service could use more attention to detail, we spent time vacuuming, replacing air filters, and clearing porch of webs prior to settling in. Not the owners fault at all, but would look to have discussion with cleaning service or replace.

Recommend improvements: build a fire pit in the backyard, would have liked to enjoy a fire on the cool nights. Large expense...but being one of the only houses on the lake without a dock was noticeable. Not having to haul the kayaks up and down the slope of the hill would have been great.

Very pretty inside and out. But there was so much dust and popcorn under couches on main level. Master bed had a lot of dirt underneath. Not cleaned well prior to our visit. Bathrooms were very clean. Screened porch covered with spider webs. Ketchum was well stocked. Extra nice no nus was having the float tubes and kayaks available and game table too. Did not like having to take our garbage to garbage center. Cleaning personnel should do that for your guests.

Family from Europe (grandparents, parents, two teenagers). Very nice, very convenient. Lots of space for all of the family. Beautiful views on the lake. Loved having the kayaks. Enjoyed the table football and games and puzzles provided in the downstairs family room. Everything that was needed was provided (even coffee). It was like coming home. Enjoyed breakfast in the screened patio. The house was beautiful and very clean. The beds were big enough for tall people.

The only thing that needs attention is that some nails on the outdoor porch were coming up and need to be fixed. One time the handyman was needed for a plumbing issue and he fixed it promptly. Also, a hair dryer was not supplied: especially needed by Europeans who have a different voltage and plug.

We were very, very happy with our stay and would highly recommend it for others.

Toqua Coves was very well appointed with all new, modern furnishings. The owner purchased all new appliances and all new kitchen equipment from the dishes, silverware to the pots & pans. It was clean and very spacious for our two families. The extra deep resort style beds were very comfortable and with the black out curtains in each bedroom we slept in every morning.

There are tvs and dvd players in each family room and each bedroom so we all had a place to retreat at the end of the day and enjoy our various programs.

The lake was SO warm and we floated and kayaked all day! The community pools (one of them is inside) and tennis and pickle ball courts are top notch. It was a bit warm for us to golf but we drove by the three golf courses and if we come back in the fall they would be AMAZING to play – VERY affordable green fees.

The 3 marinas were also spectacular. We did spend some of our days at the local beach. The kids loved the water and the large sandy area and there was plenty of shade for us grown ups. We didn’t rent a boat or pontoon but I understand that it’s easy to do.

Vacation Concierge was incredibly helpful from the first inquiry through check out. Vicki, the Office Manager, is so friendly and easy to work with. We did need to have a cabinet adjusted during our stay and they were right on it! Great service!

We will definitely be coming back!
