We loved the pool area and spent much of our down time there. We did come across a few issues with a few of the amenities while we were there but the host was very quick to respond and correct any issues that arose while we were staying at the property.

Great location - Beautiful home!

We had the absolute best time staying at this home for Mother’s Day weekend. The home has a beautiful outdoor area for grilling and enjoying time with family. The bedroom style is very open so not a lot of privacy but noIssue with our family at all. Walking distance to the beach, coffee shops and water front bars. Bring beach items if you plan to visit the beach. Everything else was included.

This house was perfect!!! The location is perfect, there was more than enough space for us all to stay! The beach, grocery store, and liquor store were literally close enough to walk! The owner was very timely with responding to my questions! The only thing that isn’t really included in the description is that the upstairs and downstairs are like 2 separate houses that you can’t get to from within the house, you must go outside, but that wasn’t a problem, it actually turned out great! I would definitely stay here again!

This home is beautiful and was perfect for our group of 12 adults and 1 1yo!! Location was so perfect, right by a grocery store where you could get almost anything you needed! Pool and outside space was so so nice. Jose was a fantastic host, always responsive and so friendly and helpful!! Thankyou so much Jose!!!!

Great place

We had a great time! There 11 of us 7 sisters/brother/ and 2 friends. Plenty of room every where. We used the upstairs kitchen for all meals. The bottom kitchen we used for cocktails and munchies. A quick walk to the beach. Store-3 houses away, liquor store-across from the grocery store. We had trouble starting a few things(music, some lights) but jose(mgr) was prompt and very attentive. We will definitely be back! Thanks again for a great trip! Now back to Wisconsin for 6-10 inches of snow tomorrow!

Pros and cons

Pros: great location, a couple blocks to the beach. The backyard is well landscaped, with a nice pool. Plenty of parking. It can sleep a lot of people - 17 comfortably- but there are only 3 rooms with closed-door privacy, if you're looking for that. There are two kitchens and an outside toilet, sink and shower. There are a lot of tvs, if you're looking for that. The espresso machines were fantastic! Beautifully decorated. The property manager, Jose, was very responsive and went above and beyond to get us a new highchair. I'm confident he'll be attentive to the issues. Cons: Some aspects of the place were a bit "tired" like the patio furniture, the couches and cabinets downstairs. It wasn't very well equipped- no dish towels, dishcloths, kleenex or paper towels. No beach towels or beach chairs, bring your own. Many outlets upstairs didn't work, and there was a playstation without a cord. Overall, we were glad we stayed and had a great time.

Girl's Trip October 2024!

Great location near stores, restaurants, shops and a block away from the beach. Top story is stunning with 6 beds, 3 are in lofts. There is little privacy as walls do not go all the way to the ceiling and lofts are open. This is ideal for a family, but maybe not for couples. Three bathrooms on the top floor, one with a soaking tub. Top floor is very clean and the kitchen well stocked. TV is huge and the couch is big enough to fit a lot of people. The second story cannot be accessed from inside of the house, but only from stairs in the back yard. This may be an issue for people with kiddos. The first floor has 4 beds in 3 private rooms and 2 bathrooms. First floor is run-down. Cabinets are dirty. Couch was big, but also slightly dirty. Bedding looks worn. Kitchen is small, but well stocked. There was a consensus that the mattresses were all very hard. A couple of us had uncomfortable nights because of this. The washer/dryer worked great. The outdoor kitchen is more than adequate. The pool is large, but only about a quarter of it is usable as a ‘pool’ as the entire length of one side has concrete built up for lounging areas. The water was full of ‘floaties’ and bugs. Somebody came to put chemicals and vacuum the pool during our stay. There are no steps or rails to get into the pool. Outdoor shower and toilet in the back yard. Jose was very responsive. Overall this property is great for large parties. It is well stocked and the location can’t be beat! Would recommend.

Perfect Location of Home!

Loved the location of this home as it is centralized to everything especially the grocery store and lots of eateries! I’ve rented a bunch of VRBO’s and this place had the best pool area with lots of sitting for everyone and loved having two kitchens available for my large group of 12. I would like to see more towels, pot holders (only 1 for two kitchens) dish towels (only 1 for two kitchens). Bathrooms were incorrectly advertised on the VRBO front page, but Host said he would make it right with me and hopefully I will see a 1 night stay refund soon. The only other suggestion would be is to add non-skid on the outside steps to the upper level ….when they are wet they are slick!

Perfect location and very friendly property manager

This house is located within a block from the island supermarket in one direction and a block from the beach in the other direction - perfect location! Nice house, looked exactly like the pictures with all the staged decorations. The upstairs was very nice, just didn’t realize the two upstairs bedrooms were totally open concept but it worked. The pool and backyard was the attraction for everyone. The house could use a little upkeep and if that happens I would give it 100.

Couldn’t have picked a better place!

We spent a long weekend celebrating my 40th Birthday with family and friends here. We had the absolute best time ever! I think we spent more time at the house than anywhere else on the island lol. The pool area was the best, we barbecued, made oven baked pizzas, karaoke’d and just hung out by the pool day and night. The property manager, Jose, was so incredibly nice and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Birthday Getaway

We had the time of our lives. The house was just as expected. Our group of 10 had more than enough space. The grocery store, liquor store, and beach are all walking distance (as were restaurants). We rented golf carts to get around the island which was also walking distance away. The pool swan was a great addition. I would definitely recommend you staying here if you have a large group and don't want to have to sleep in bunk beds. Plus the host was very nice and professional. The only thing I would have liked would have been a little welcome to The Dolphin House note that explained how to work the music by the pool, that the thermostat upstairs controls both houses, and any other small details that would help keep the guest from having to reach out to the host during their stay. Also, the code to open the door should be given upon arrival. I have to text and ask for it. No biggies. Just little things that could make things even smoother.

Husband's Birthday weekend

The Host, Mr. Garcia was very nice and helpful with any questions I had. The house is beautiful. My family and friends enjoyed. The house was cleaned upon arrival. The house it close 2 houses down from the grocery store and Ben's Liquor store and down the street to the beach. All in walking distance. We enjoyed the pizza oven and grill on the patio. The patio and pool is beautiful at night, great for pictures. Everything was awesome. I will be booking this house again.
