Guest Access:
You'll have full access to the entire home, private dock, sandy beach, lakeside fire pit, and all outdoor spaces. Self check-in is easy with keyless entry, so you can arrive on your own schedule.
A pontoon boat is available to rent at an additional cost and will be conveniently delivered to the property, no trailering or pickup required. Just coordinate with our trusted local partner, DV Rentals LKA, to enjoy effortless lake days with more time on the water and less time in the car.
Golfers are welcome to enjoy member-for-a-day access at Cutalong Golf Club, a private 18-hole championship course nearby. As our guest, you'll receive exclusive tee time privileges through our partnership, just let us know in advance.
The Neighborhood:
Elk Creek Landing is a premier waterfront community on Lake Anna's exclusive private side. With over 3,400 acres of warm freshwater surrounding the property, you're set up for boating, swimming, wakeboarding, tubing, and fishing while still enjoying a quiet neighborhood. The community pavilion sits next to a gated boat ramp with covered boat slips along the shoreline.
The home is on the private (warm) side of Lake Anna, which is separated from the public side by dikes and not navigable by watercraft between the two. If you're bringing a personal boat or jet skis, you'll have community boat ramp access during your stay, from 4:00 PM on arrival day to 10:00 AM on departure day. An access card is provided in the home.
Getting Around:
Elk Creek Landing is roughly 90 minutes from Richmond, 2 hours from Washington D.C., and 30 minutes from Charlottesville. The neighborhood is generally quiet with ample free parking at the home for groups arriving in multiple vehicles. Some ongoing new construction is part of the community's growth.

**Guest Requirements:**
In compliance with local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 30 years old to book, and those under 30 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian throughout the reservation.
Important: Before check-in, the primary guest must complete our Guest Verification process. This helps us comply with short-term rental regulations and provides added protection for guests and the property.
After booking, you will receive a secure link to complete verification. Please complete it prior to arrival to ensure a smooth, quick check-in.
Damage protection is required for every reservation, regardless of where you booked. During verification, you will choose one of the following options:
- $35 per night non-refundable damage waiver (recommended): no security hold and a simpler, faster process.
- $3,000 refundable security deposit: requires a hold on a card and may take several business days to release after check-out, subject to any damage charges.
Interaction with Guests:
You'll have the home to yourself with keyless entry for easy self check-in. Our local team is a quick text or call away whenever you need anything, but otherwise we leave you to enjoy the lake.
