Zweistöckiges Moody Beach Oceanfront Home

Ursprüngliches Sommerhaus am Meer aus dem Jahr 1909 mit Zugang zum Moody Beach über eine Treppe über Felsen. Treppe zum Strand nicht garantiert für immer höhere Gezeiten von Jahr zu Jahr. Es gibt einen öffentlichen Weg 4 Hütten entfernt. Einige Jahre mehr Stein als Sand. Es gibt eine offene Veranda und eine geschlossene Veranda. Erster Stock hat einen Kamin Wohnzimmer, angrenzendes Esszimmer und Küche. Esszimmer bietet Platz für 8. Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich eine kleine halbe Badewanne und im zweiten Stock befindet sich eine Badewanne / Dusche-Kombination. Die Unterkunft befindet sich etwa 1,5 km vom Einkaufszentrum Route 1 entfernt. Ein Haustier nur mit besonderer Erlaubnis. 200 $ Kaution für Erstmieter.

Dies ist nur ein Ferienhaus, es ist nicht winterfest. Saisonbedingte Mietreservierungen beginnen jeweils im Februar. Wiederkehrende Mieter erhalten die erste Option für Reservierungen. Die verbleibenden offenen Wochen werden dann auf der Website veröffentlicht. Alle Anfragen werden in der Reihenfolge des Datums auf der Website abgefragt. Wir freuen uns über alle neuen Anfragen und entschuldigen uns, dass wir nicht alle aufnehmen können. Einige Jahre haben mehr Öffnungen als andere.

9% Maine Mietsteuer zu den Mietpreisen hinzugefügt. Endreinigung obligatorisch für 135 US-Dollar. Kein täglicher Service. Kein Wäscheservice. Die meisten Gäste bringen ihre eigene Wäsche mit oder benutzen unsere. (muss vom Gast gereinigt werden) Gästen, die diesen Service bevorzugen, steht ein privater Wäscheservice zur Verfügung. Die Gäste können sie privat kontaktieren. Muss Hütte in sehr gutem Zustand verlassen

PARKPLATZ: Hinter der Hütte ist Platz für ca. 5 Autos (abhängig von der Größe). Wir teilen die Auffahrt mit unserem Nachbarn im Süden, blockieren Sie also bitte nicht deren Eingangs- oder Ausgangsbereich. Die Nachbarn im Norden haben hinter ihrem Häuschen keinen Zugang zu ihrem Haus und müssen hinter der roten Garage parken.
Bitte parken Sie nicht hinter unserer grauen Garage an der Straße, da die Familie gelegentlich den Platz benötigt, um die Garage zu nutzen.
Die Stadt wird ein Parkticket für Autos geben, die auf der Straße geparkt sind.

Our family cottage is one of the oldest cottages on Moody Beach and has been in our family for over 50 years. Occasional seaweed on the rocks
The property is not meant to be a commercial rental for birthday's, wedding's , graduation events, anniversary's, reunion's, or funerals.
No fires on the front lawn or the sea wall. You may have it on the beach. Do not leave it unattended. Make sure it is completely out before leaving

Wonderful family vacation!

My family and I had the best Maine vacation ever in this roomy, comfortable cottage with its amazing view of the ocean right living room! The spacious front porch was perfect for relaxing with morning coffee and a glass of wine after dinner. Plenty of parking and the owner was friendly and wonderful to deal with. We definitely plan to return next year!

Home Away from Home

The Arline is so homey - we had a wonderful week and our dog thoroughly enjoyed her first vacation by the sea! The home has everything you need - and more - a million dollar view! We came home extremely relaxed!

Family beach trip

We had an amazing 2 weeks at the Arline. The cottage was rustic but very cute, clean and equipped with everything you would need for your stay. Easily slept my family of 6 with 3 bedrooms and 2 fold out sleep sofas. The grassy lawn (beach side) was perfect during high tide and the few days when there was excessive seaweed. Even then, It was just an easy walk down The beach a few houses and there was plenty of sandy beach to enjoy.

Arline - Home Away From Home

Our family loved being on the beach at the Arline home. The home had everything you could ever need to live there except for clothes and beach towels. Moody is the best beach for walking and jogging and is a private beach to enjoy without the crowds and noise. The neighbors are very friendly and quiet. We rent on Moody every year and know we have found the best beach on Maine's coast.

Very Satisfied with the Arline

We were very pleased with the Arline. It had everything we needed. It is great for crabbing! The rocks down the to the beach require careful manipulation but I have had knee problems & managed quite well. Plus, the Public Way (#3) is very close if needed! There is no beach at high tide. But, we were aware of that in advance. Had a wonderful stay!

An Amazing Vacation!

Just returned from a week at the Arline and we enjoyed our vacation in Maine! The house has every item that you might need for comfort and a view that is breathtaking. The sunset and sunrise as well as the oceanview from the lawn provide such serenity. The beach is eight or ten steps away from the lawn. The outdoor shower is available to cut down on sand coming into the house and the bedrooms have enough windows for great ocean breezes at night. The livingroom and kitchen are quite spacious and twice we dined outside with candles so we could view the ocean during dinner. It was a beautiful, serene, relaxing week!

As good as it gets.

Usually York Beach vacationers but wanted to try something different. This was a pleasant surprise from start to finish. The owner(s) were friendly and informal and gave you a means to contact them but did not interfere with your stay. The house is layed out perfectly and has plenty of personality - its an oldie but a goodie. Everything that was suppose to be there was and all in good working condition. The house and property were clean and well taken care of. Its a perect location as far as the beach goes and the view doesn't get any better. The neighbors were great and full of useful information. Not only would I recommend this rental but I really hope to return again next year. My entire family loved this place and have raved about it to anyone that might be interested in Moody Beach. Can't miss on this one and the price was right as well. I've fallen in love with maine all over again!

Family bought beach cottage in 1965. Property now managed by siblings family one living in California and one living in New Hampshire. Cottage is a family treasure. Many fond memories of the beautiful Maine coast

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

One of the original cottages built on Moody Beach in the early 1900's. It was built by the same family as is it's twin house next door.
There are less and less of the original beach cottages remaining now.
This is a seasonal cottage open only from June to October

Das macht diese Unterkunft einzigartig

Private beach. Wonderful beach view. Can sit on the oceanfront lawn or front porch and watch the ocean all day. Beach access with stairs and if there is seaweed or too many rocks, the public way access is only 5 cottages to the south. The tide goes out pretty far allowing for beach activities like Bocci Ball and building sand castles. High tide now comes right to the bottom of the beach access stairs.
Cottage is very rustic and casual. The outside after beach hot/cold shower helps you rinse off the salt water and beach sand.
Surfing is good right in front of the cottage if the surf is "up" If the ocean is flat then kayaking maybe in order. Both can be rented at local surf and bike shop on Route 1. In recent years some NEW owners are asking people not to sit in front of their houses since the beach is private to mean low tide. All of our close neighbors do not do this. All of the old time owners do not do this. All of the owners North of the public way near our cottage do not mind beach goers on the sand. On private beaches in Maine you can fish, hunt,navigate and walk. We have old fishing rods you can use under the house and put them by your beach chairs. Please let me know if anyone ever asks you to move. There is currently a law suit in the State of Maine to make all beaches, including ours public.
As it is a public beach dogs are allowed on the beach. Please be kind and keep them away from children and other dogs and on a leash if necessary. The public way has notices about dogs on the beach and that applies to the public way and also at the south end of the beach which becomes Ogunquit Beach
