Great property! Location was excellent and the neighborhood was quite and well kept. Everything was just as described, clean, and well maintained. With the purpose of this trip being to get my 88 and 87 year old parents back to the beach they have vacationed at since the 70's, being just steps off the back deck onto the sands of a wide, flat stretch of beach was perfect. Excellent unobstructed views of the ocean from the back porch. Also appreciated the ability to have some beach gear waiting on us when we arrived. Great communication from Garden City Realty leading up to our stay and we had no issues at all. Great get away and we would definitely book again.

Great location , could use a little tlc

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our view and location on the beach and were mostly happy with our rental. Was surprised at the amount of trash under the deck from previous renters. The beds left alot to be desired , the queen bed completely sunk down on one side every night . The sheet of plywood underneath was a joke. Wish the rugs didn’t slip or curl up on edges . One of us slipped when rug slid under feet resulting in a badly bruised toe.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Truly loved the more private location of the property. The house was clean and spacious. We enjoyed many hours on the deck overlooking the ocean. We do have to agree with another review regarding the queen mattress being uncomfortable. It lacked proper mattress support. We’ve already booked another stay at this property for next summer and hope this minor issue is addressed.

Love, love, love this property. It is steps from the beach, had everything we needed, and the game room was awesome. We would definitely stay there again.

The Peace of Heaven property is a gorgeous beach front property. The host was very attentive, informative and so easy to work with. The property was spotless & so comfortable for our entire family. We had the time of our lives!

Nice week at the beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home is in a wonderful location. Steps from the beach. We enjoyed our week at the Peace of Heaven. Overall the house is nice and it was clean. We placed a few maintenance calls during the week and Garden City Realty and the owner were quick to respond and correct the issues reported. A+ for customer service & follow up! I would call out 2 things for a future renter to consider when booking this rental. First, our group felt the mattresses were uncomfortable and that is might be time for replacements and second, we were disappointed that the home description did not mention that the entire downstairs level of the home does not have air conditioning. Mentioning that in the overall home description would at least give a renter all the information needed to decide if this is the vacation home for them to rent.

Best House Yet!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My parents spoiled my sisters and I growing up with renting a new ocean front house each year. I would wake up super early and watch the sun come up over the ocean with my dad while he sipped his coffee from the comfort of the back deck. It was amazing. And now that the first thing I look for in a beach stay. Can I watch the sunrise, and this house was perfection for that! Not to mention the insanely cool game room for my boys to play at night and rainy/windy days. The only down, were the mattresses in both adult rooms were not the easiest to sleep on. I cannot wait to rebook!!

Not Quite Satisfied

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived on Saturday (8/8) and loved the beach front view! By Wednesday the view was impeded by the beach replenishment, the noise was awful day and night. We could not enjoy our beach front for the rest of our stay (8/12-8/15). Trucks running up and down day and night making lots of noise (which made it hard to sleep) and placing pipe which impeded our walk to the ocean. We had to go a few blocks up on Wednesday, and walk over huge sand ramps that they made on Thursday and Friday. NOT ideal for an ocean front rental. Very disappointed. IF we would have know that there was a possibility of this happening during our weeks stay, we would have booked a different property. We REALLY hope that the realty company keeps there word on giving us compensation for the 4 days we were inconvenienced since nothing was done to help us during our stay.

We had a wonderful stay. The property being on the beach was a plus for us. The house was beautiful and we all enjoyed the game room, our crew was content to stay at the facility and play the evening away. We will definitely keep Peace of Heaven on our list for a return visit!

We had a great time at this property. Some of the best highlights: the sunrises (amazing!), the quiet beach location nestled right between two slightly busier beaches. We had so much fun in the game room downstairs. The neighborhood was peaceful and not a typical beachfront neighborhood. Overall we loved everything about this place, perfect for a relaxing beach getaway and close enough to bigger areas to quickly get to places.

Lovely property right on the beach!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a lovely property with direct access to the beach. It’s great to sit on the porch with your morning cup of coffee, listening to the waves and taking in the ocean breeze. The house is made for families (not for a couple). There is a great bunk bedroom for kids and a game room in the basement. I would LOVE the property more if it had a few things - more directions on lightswitches, actual lights that work out by the driveway and yes, a pool. All surrounding properties have them and that’s what is missing. Otherwise, a lovely stay in a beautiful environment.
