Meerblick mit Rücken und Front Lanai. Golf 5 Minuten entfernt! Unsere Wohnanlage befindet sich in der ruhigen Gemeinde Makaha Valley. Makaha ist Land und weg von der Großstadt! Es ist einer der historischen älteren Teile der Insel und hat das "echte" Hawaii-Feeling. Wir haben es genossen, dort ganztägig mit unseren Kindern zu leben. Die Gemeinde bietet viele Annehmlichkeiten. 24 Stunden bewachter Eingang, 2 Swimmingpools, kartenaktivierte Wäscherei, Kinderbecken, Grillplätze, Tennis- und Basketballplätze. Wir haben Ihre Ocean Toys und Tennisschläger! Diese Eigenschaft hat eine schöne gepflegte tropische Landschaft mit absolut wunderschönen Pfauen herumlaufen.
WiFi-Verbindung sowie Kabel-TV und 60 in Smart TV + WIFI. Eine der wenigen Einheiten mit 2 Klimaanlagen im Wohnbereich und Hauptschlafzimmer mit Ventilatoren in allen Schlafzimmern. Das Tal hat normalerweise eine sehr schöne Inselbrise und mit unserer Einheit ist es im Gegensatz zu den meisten in der Gegend mit einer vorderen UND hinteren Veranda am angenehmsten.
Es gibt zwei Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss und zwei Loft-Schlafzimmer auf der Wendeltreppe. Alles außer dem Hauptschlafzimmer (privat) ist offenes Konzept. Es gibt ein großes Badezimmer mit einer langen Granitplatte mit zwei Waschbecken.
Die voll ausgestattete Küche bietet alles, was Sie brauchen. Hier finden Sie schöne Edelstahlgeräte, einschließlich eines Geschirrspülers!
Das Gerät befindet sich im zweiten Stock, so dass eine Reihe von Treppen zu betreten ist.
Von der Veranda aus haben Sie einen privaten Blick auf das Meer und die Berge mit gelegentlichen Regenbogen und Wasserfällen. Von der hinteren Veranda aus werden Sie die offene Grünfläche mit einem Grill lieben. Unterhalb der Wohnung befindet sich ein Tennisplatz.
Sie haben Zugang zu einem kostenlosen Parkplatz und der Wäscherei vor Ort. Der Inselbus hält auch vor dem Komplex.
Der Bootshafen von Waianae ist 10 Minuten entfernt und bietet Zugang zu Hochseeangeln und Delfinausflügen.
Nur eine Meile die Straße hinunter ist der berühmte Makaha Strand. Sie können einen schönen Spaziergang zum Golfplatz mit Berg- und Meerblick und zum Makaha Valley Golf Club mit Restaurants, Golfplätzen und vielem mehr machen. Wenn Sie Strände, Golfen, Angeln und Shoppen ohne Menschenmassen mögen, werden Sie es genauso lieben wie wir! Waikiki ist eine Stunde entfernt, wenn Sie sich für einen Tag als Stadt entscheiden.
Der Flughafen ist 45 Minuten entfernt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, kommerzielle Restaurants, Kinos und ein Wasserpark für Kinder befinden sich in Kapolei, nur 25 Autominuten entfernt. Koolina Resort ist 20 Minuten entfernt und bietet 4 wunderschöne Lagunen, Paradise Cove Luau und das neue Disney Resort! Restaurants, Lebensmittelgeschäfte und Fast Food (McDonalds, Burger King, Pizza Hut, etc.) sind 5 Minuten entfernt. Im Paradise Isle Shop können Sie Ausflüge buchen und / oder die gesamte Strandausrüstung (Schnorchelausrüstung, Surfbretter, Boogie-Boards usw.) ausleihen. Wir haben auch einige Bretter und Schnorchelausrüstung für Sie.

Makaha Condo

The condo in Makaha was great. The owner was wonderful to work with, very responsive. The location is a quite a distance from city of Oahu but the condo is in a gated, secure area. Condo was very clean and provided for all our needs. We would stay here again!

Great condo!

We stayed here as parents with our 2 teenage children. The condo was very well equipped and very clean. The sleeping arrangements were very adequate for our needs. It is very quiet and secure. Penny was very easy to contact with any questions/concerns we had.

Family Fun

We were fortunate to stay in this comfortable condo. It is out and away from the city so you get to hear the country sounds. We are runners and enjoyed running to the beach. It was clean, very nice and affordable. The owner was very helpful to answer all of our questions. We want to come back !

Makaha stay

Excellent visit to. Hawaii. Malaga Resort is just beautiful and well maintained. Security is great and personnel has there customer service down to a tee! The unit is great. The only complaint, and not really a complaint would be no air conditioning. Penny was great to work with from beginning to end. Alpha Penny and thanks for making our stay a most memorable vacation.

I know we had the tropical storm while you were there which can make some humid nights however, I'm not sure if you saw the A/C unit in the built in cabinet. So glad you came :)

Great Condo!

This Condo was great! The only issue we had was that it was far from areas that we felt safe to go to so we drove a long way to go to beach. The only restaurants we wanted to visit for the most part were about 1/2 hour drive. This is no reflection on the Condo or Penny's hospitality! But we were not used to the layout of Oahu and we prefer Maui next vacation ( been to Maui 2 times before) Thanks Penny and this is a great deal if you are willing to drive a bit.

I'm glad you enjoyed the condo! Our world famous Makaha Beach, down the road 1 mile, must have been rough when you were there and yes, can prevent a good swim BUT makes for good surfing! There are multiple beaches all along the road to the condo AND there is a great protected swim area in KoOlina for the kiddos. We too love Maui and lived there for many years. Our place here actually reminded us of Maui, away from the city. Thank you for your review!! ALOHA :)

Fabulous!

This condo is very comfortable and thoughtfully equipped. The unit itself was modern and very clean. This is a secure development. Security personal patrols the grounds and are very friendly. Landscaping throughout the property is tropical and well maintained. We were very close to the pool/grill & laundry and less than a 5-10 min drive to The famous Makaha Surf Beach, Restaurants & Tamura Super Market. Booking process was easy and quick. Our overall experience was really wonderful. Penny was so great to deal with and her response time was amazing. I would definitely consider staying here again! Mahalo Penny, we are so happy that we stayed West! I grew up vacationing in Waikiki and North Shore has been our sport for the last few years, we never made it to the this side and are so happy that we did and my husband is thrilled he got to finally surf Makaha!

Home Away From Home - Great Experience!

Our family was comfortable and we enjoyed having space to spread without being cramped (like in hotel rooms) - The family used the pool once and they were very pleased. We cook most of our meals at home and it was nice to have everything we needed to prepare the meals while on vacation. Food in Hawaii is ridiculously expensive and the more meals we can cook at home, the more cha-ching we have left to spend at the Aloha Flea Market on one-of-the-kind souvenirs. :) The unit was clean and comfortable, and there was no need to turn on the air conditioner, just leaving the windows open and turning on a fan or two was enough to be comfortable this time of year. The owner has board games for the family to use, coolers and beach towels for the renters to use. We are very pleased with our rental experience and highly recommend it to others looking for a place away from the insanity that are all other tourist locations. It was quite and peaceful after spending a long day visiting family and friends.

Great place for a long Oahu vacation

I would have to say that this was the best vacation we ever had. I have so much mahalo to have been able to spend 30 days in Oahu with our family. Makaha Valley is about an hour to an hour and half drive from many of the attractions on the Island, but when you’re spending 30 days there and going through the scenic beauty, it really doesn’t matter. We absolutely loved Makaha Beach park. The beach was beautiful, it was never crowded, and there’s a shave ice truck parked there every day. The condo was perfect for our family of 6. We really enjoyed the pool and the pickle ball/ tennis courts, and the 24 hour security was great and were also very friendly. It did get hot inside the condo though on very hot days since there isn’t central air, but I don’t think most homes in beach communities have central air. The ac units were helpful though, especially the one in the bedroom. In addition, my husband and I were working while we were there and never had an issue with the internet, even with 4 other people using the WiFi. Penny was very easy to get a hold of and communicate with and we really enjoyed staying at her condo. This trip was definitely one for the memory books! Mahalo!!!

Great place!!

We are so thankful we found this spot for our month-long stay on the West Coast. It’s great if you want to be away from the busyness and touristiness of Honolulu. Very local. ❤️ Our children loved the loft bedrooms, though as parents we definitely had to watch our heads on the beams, as noted in the listing!😀 The pools are great and there are many nearby trails and beaches. Fantastic and speedy communication with the host! Hot tip for families and book lovers… You can get a three month statewide public library pass for $10 and their children’s section at the local branch is great!

Amazing rental property in Oahu

We were a family of 6, this was made up from 4 adults and 2 children. This property is great, has everything you need and more. The owners are so easy to contact and go over and above to answer questions and make your stay top notch! Please keep in mind, the location of this property is not your typical tourist resort, you will want a car to travel as this is residential west coast. We just loved staying here, we planned trips out East to Kualoa Ranch, up to North Shore, Pearl Harbour, Dole Planation, Waikiki, Wet n Wild and more. The drive was never more than 1 hour even at peak times. This condo location is a great spot to come back to to enjoy the later part of the day, tennis court, basketball, pools, bbq. Don't forget to check out Makaha Beach too... its amazing. I would definitely return to this property and highly recommend to other considering a trip to Oahu! Thanks Penny!

All you need and beautiful relaxing views.

We really enjoyed our stay at Makaha Valley Plantation. The condo is fully equipped and comfortable. The open air loft-style bedrooms were a hit with our kids. The morning coffee looking at the blooming trees and the mountains, listening to the birds are imprinted in our minds. Although you cannot sit on the lanais, the huge sliding screened doors give that outdoor feel. We definitely have a vacation hangover! The incredible Makaha beach down the street with its waves, fish and turtles (and even a monk seal came to swim with us one day), is absolutely fabulous!

Perfect for a family of 5

Our family had a great stay at Penny & Cannon's condo. It was clean, a perfect fit for our family, & stocked with beach towels, cooler, & even a boogie board! We loved our get away

We loved feeling like we had our own little private oasis with the local grocery stores and practically private beaches. It was an ok experience for us.

We stayed at this condo in July 2016 overall it was ok. A couple things we did not like was one bathroom for six people to share is difficult. The ac window unit in one room was ok. My boys that slept on second floor said they were hot sleeping there. We paid a cleaning fee, however on the binder book for check out instructions we have to wash towels, fold and put away. Load up dishes and run machine, sweep floor and strip beds and take out trash. I felt like it was a little bit too much to do since we paid a cleaning fee. I had a very uncomfortable time taking a shower there. It was difficult adjusting the hot & cold water. You will either have too much hot water or too much cold water. The communication was excellent with the landlord. On the other hand, my children enjoyed watching outside the property chickens and peacocks and We loved the mountain view.

I'm so surprised it as just an ok experience for you being that you were sending me photos and saying how much you all were enjoying yourselves. I know you all were in a 5 star hotel a few days before you came so maybe you were expecting that I'm not sure however, at the end of a vacation rental home there is only one cleaning not like a hotel. When you were there I had a linen closet with over 20 towels and sheets for 12 beds so I had an instruction to wash only if you used all of that excess not the regular amount for a family of 6. I do not have anything in the check out about sweeping. Yes, I always ask for dishes to be loaded and started and trash to be taken out to avoid bugs. I am sorry that your boys were hot upstairs, In July we had some still days and very humid conditions due to the tropical storm. Again, I wish you had communicated to me since you and I did stay in close communication as my husband and I enjoyed your photos. All the best!

Perfect value.

We are from Montreal, Canada, and we stayed in this condo for a week at the end of June. We were four people and there was enough space to add two more. The apartment is on two floors and is very well organized. The most interesting is its location within a complex of buildings perfectly maintained . It is extremely safe and pleasant. The view from the living room is just wonderful with lots of tropical vegetation and the ocean in the distance. The condo is located just twenty minutes away from the lagoons of Ko'olina and about fifty minutes from Honolulu, which allows to enjoy the tranquility whilst being not too far from other nice places. Penny is very attentive and prompt in his replies although she lives on the continent and we definitely recommend her property.

Beautiful, clean, lovely place to stay.

Such a well cared for beautiful condo. It had everything we needed and Penny was great, responded super fast when I had questions. I would for sure stay again. The particular location of this condo in the complex was great as well. Within walking distance to the pool, closest parking spot, and it had a secluded feel for how large the complex is. The beach down the road was great too, not rocky at all. The mountains are absolutely breathtaking. Close to stores and food. The peacocks did get a little loud sometimes but do settle down when the sun goes down but if you had a child that was at napping age it could pose a problem. You really can't beat the price! Very happy with my stay.

Clean, well stocked condo

Our first visit to Hawaii. on arrival at the apartment we were surprised to find so much was supplied. Well stocked with linen, cutlery crockery toilet necessities, and even had a range of seasoning and spices for cooking. Clean and well maintained, and when we did experience a problem with a sink blockage, plumbers were arranged very quickly, and we had no interruption to our stay caused by this. The grounds and pool were also well maintained and the peacocks roaming around were a pleasant addition. The view from the room was wonderful although a tiny bit disappointed that the water was not flowing off the hills as shown in one of the advertising photos, but that's the price we paid for having perfect sunny weather for our entire stay. Would heartily recommend this apartment to any future travellers.

Beautifully appointed, with a view of the ocean.

Very nicely redone condo. All new appliances and a kitchen you could cook up a storm in. We enjoyed our stay, but I have to say, most of our time was spent at the beach. Beautiful place to visit in Hawaii.

The property and staff are all very nice. The peacock noise took a little getting use to at night. Penny is fantastic and so easy to communicate with. The only thing was the shower was a bit dirty. It may just be an older shower too. Other than that loved everything.
