The space
Located on one of the most reputed surfing beaches in Santa Teresa, Casa Capitan radiates elegance and chic combined with a relaxed and comfortable charm.

Casa Capitan is located on the northern, most exclusive part of Santa Teresa beach where the surf is fantastic. This gracious villa is tucked away behind mature trees, and inside you’ll find cool and relaxing places to sit, rest and enjoy the ambience. The Casa Captain staff is on hand to make your stay all the more enjoyable; they are there if you need them, absent if you do not. The Capitan’s Villa Manager checks in to ensure that your vacation is perfect. At night, security guards patrol for your privacy and security. Modern conveniences include Wi-Fi.

Your outside attractions are fabulous and entice you to make the most of them. Whether you are having a massage on one of the beach ranchos, relaxing by the pool with an ice cold drink, snoozing in one of the many hammocks, or practicing yoga in the beachfront pavilion, you’ll be transported to paradise.

Casa Capitan features eight wonderfully restful bedrooms, with many alternative sleeping configurations including king, queen, double and bunk beds. The beds at Casa Capitan consist of high quality pillows and mattresses, with sheets that are high-count Egyptian cotton. You will have everything you desire to experience a true sense of ‘barefoot elegance’.

There’s a lot to appreciate here. Join the surfers or just sit on the beach and watch them perform. The beach in front of the estate is absolutely delightful with a yoga shala, pristine sand that goes on forever as well as leaning trees with lots of shaded areas and wildlife. You may wish to fill your days with activities or simply spend it relaxing in a poolside hammock or on one of the many thatched-roof beds, watching the sunset. The area boasts canopy tours, butterfly farms, restaurants and numerous fishing spots nearby. With a bit of luck, you will come home with tuna, mahi mahi or mackerel to barbeque. Casa Capitan can be rented with neighbouring Casa Dewa to form Estate Capitan for a total of 16 bedrooms of beachfront Costa Rican splendor.
