After three wonderful years of hosting a lovely family in our villa for a long-term stay, we are excited to return to the short-term rental market.

Welcome to Casa Lanui, one of the unique luxury homes in Costa Rica. This 9,340 square feet (867 m²) five-star villa is located on a private 1.6-acre (6,500 m²) property fronting the beautiful beach of Santa Teresa.
Casa stands for “home” in Spanish, and Lanui means “holiday” in Hawaiian. We guarantee you precisely this experience - a holiday of a lifetime.
Casa Lanui’s design is modern, classy, and hippie chic, ensuring you will feel at home away from home. This beautiful villa is located in the northern, most exclusive part of Santa Teresa, with direct access to the white-sand beach and some of the most consistent waves in Costa Rica, making it a surfer’s paradise.
This 7-bedroom, 7.5-bathroom villa comfortably accommodates large families or groups of friends in a unique and private location. Casa Lanui is part of North Creek Estate, sharing the property with Casa Taman (4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms). Both houses can be rented separately or together for large groups, accommodating up to 28 guests combined.
Casa Lanui features three primary bedrooms with ocean views, one master bedroom with a garden view, and two kids’ bedrooms, each with two bunk beds, accommodating a total of 8. Additionally, there is a separate studio with a king-size bed, full bathroom, and kitchenette, ideal for accompanying staff or guests seeking more privacy. This studio has features that make it accessible for people with disabilities.
The enormous living area can be entirely opened towards the pool, deck, and beach. This area includes a fully equipped kitchen and preparation kitchen, with plenty of seating at the kitchen island and a console-style table for 8-10 people. The dining area includes an 18-foot-long table that comfortably seats 20 people. The cozy lounge area is perfect for relaxing and includes a 60” television
On the terrace, enjoy the infinity-edge pool with shallow hang-out areas, surrounded by several lounge chairs for tanning and enjoying your favorite drinks with friends and family. There is also an outdoor area with a massage, yoga, and workout area.
The spacious area between the house and the beach is naturally shaded by native trees and includes lounge chairs and hammocks. There is a large dining table located close to the beach where guests can enjoy cocktails or dinner with an amazing tropical sunset view. The white sand beach in front of North Creek Estate is beautiful. You can relax in full privacy in the shade of numerous trees while watching some fantastic, consistent surf or one of the world’s most beautiful sunsets.

• Primary bedroom 4: Garden view, king-size bed, full en-suite bathroom, desk area, and walk-in closet.
• Two kids' bedrooms (5 and 6): Each with double bunk beds, full en-suite bathroom, desk area, closet, and twin XL size beds – also perfect for adults to sleep comfortably.
• Studio (7): Accessible for people with disabilities. Includes a king-size bed, table, kitchenette and an en-suite adapted full bathroom.

Beach and Town Access The beach and town are within walking distance, but car or atv rental is highly recommended to move around
Santa Teresa is located in the southern tip of Costa Rica’s northwestern peninsula, has an edge-of-the-world vibe that still feels remote and inspires relocation dreams. Driving down the road that connects the area’s four beaches Playa Hermosa, Santa Teresa, Playa Carmen and Mal Pais, you will wonder what your life would be like in a town that experiences almost year-round sunshine (punctuated by the occasional rainstorm, sure) and consistently warm temperatures. This main road, which runs parallel to the beach, has many cute cafés, excellent restaurants, a few galleries, and many new fashion boutiques and surf shops.
At North Creek Estate, we conduct our daily practices with the environment in mind, aiming to minimize the footprint. As part of our efforts, we are committed to:
- Protecting the ocean by professionally treating all our wastewater with a treatment plant and processing our grease with authorized providers.
- Reducing the amount of water used by washing our linens every three days.
- Minimizing the waste by composting 100% of our cooking/kitchenn waste, whether raw or cooked and using the resulting compost to nurture our gardens. Additionally, we classify our garbage into recyclables and non-recyclables.
- Participating in community efforts and activities to clean up beaches.
- Reducing our carbon footprint by equipping our A/C units with eco-sensors to ensure their efficient use, staying on only when needed.
- Decreasing our electricity consumption with a state-of-the-art automatic system that efficiently manages all lights in the property
- Buying cleaning products that comply with environmental operation standards
-Engaging with several community associations that ensure sustainable development in the area

GETTING HERE
There's the option of a domestic flight from SJO to one of the nearby airstrips.
You can choose between commercial or private flights.
Commercial flights land at the Cobano Airport (ACO), which is about 35 minutes from the property. If you prefer a private flight, there is another airport (MRTS) located 25 minutes away.
Commercial flights have set schedules, and prices range from $130 to $170 per person.
For private flights, we’ll be happy to check availability for your dates and share all the options and pricing with you.
