This unit in Kona Shores offered plenty of space for our group of 5. The condo was clean and well-appointed with everything we needed four our stay. The complex is well-kept and quiet, and the parking space was easy to enter and exit (not always the case in Hawaiian parking lots). Though not necessarily close to central Kona, it is nonetheless easy to walk between the the condo and the 'tourist' district with shopping, restaurants, etc.The AC units (one in each bedroom) worked quickly to cool the unit (it is requested to turn them off when leaving, but the unit cools quickly upon return). It may be worth noting that the king bed has an extremely soft mattress. As our mattress is much firmer, we did wake with slightly sore backs each morning.

Everything about our stay was great. The property description was exactly how it was described online. Excellent communication from our host and the community we were in was nice and clean. You are close to everything and have a great ocean view from the pool. We would definitely stay there again.

Excellent 2 bedroom condo

My family really enjoyed this 2 bedroom condo. The 4 beds was able to accommodate my wife and I in the main bedroom, our teenage boys in the spare bedroom with dual twin beds and our 2 young daughters on the pull out sofa bed in the living room. The owner was quick with his responses anytime I had questions. He also was very accommodating with us and we were very appreciating of that. I would definitely rent from him again in the future

We knew this was a budget rental, so we were not upset that the unit was smaller and a bit dated.While this is technically a sleeps 6 unit, more than 4 people will never be comfortable here. The fold out sofa consumes the entire living room. In addition, there is only seating for 4 in the living room, dining area, and patio. All areas are very small. We couldn't eat or socialize at all in the unit. The middle of the sofa dips quite dramatically as well. Nothing was comfortable.The noise was absolutely horrible! There are no true windows, only slat windows. And the other complexes sidewalk runs directly.by the windows of this unit. You can hear everyone's conversations as they walked by or chilled on their patios. We kept the air conditioning on to help muffle the noise though the AC was not always necessary.You can hear every single word from the couple living above the master bedroom as they watch TV until midnight and are then up again walking around and moving things at 5:00 am.We had 4 bath towels for 5 people. We found a mystery bag of sheets, blankets and towels in the closet and used them for the sofa bed. They were kinda wadded up in the bag so it was unclear if they were clean or not.A toaster would've been very helpful as well. Otherwise, the kitchen was well appointed.Communication with the host was generally quick but we had some issues. It ended up fine but I would not stay here again.

We had a great time. Management was very prompt to respond to questions. Air-conditioning in the bedrooms worked great. Kitchen has everything we needed. Kids loved having the pool noodles and boogie boards that were provided. The pool was clean. We even got to see dolphins swimming while relaxing by the pool. We didn't mind the 1 mile walk to town for many dinner options. Thanks Savi.

We love this location because it’s walking distance to Honl’s Beach, oceanfront walking paths, and several cafés and restaurants along Ali‘i Drive. It’s easy to get around without driving far, and the area has a relaxed, local feel rather than a busy resort vibe. The oceanfront pool at Kona Shores is one of our favorite spots for sunset — quiet, simple, and right by the shoreline. It’s a comfortable place to unwind and enjoy Kona at an easy pace.
