Kona Makai #4-306 ist eine hervorragende, sehr geräumige Ferienwohnung für deinen Hawaii-Urlaub! Es gibt nur selten 2-Schlafzimmer-Wohnungen, bei denen das Loft als drittes Bonus-Schlafzimmer dient! Da sie sich in der obersten Etage in Ecke von Gebäude 4 befindet, ist die Lage wirklich wunderbar! Eine tolle Option für 6 Personen. Die fantastische, umlaufende Veranda ist mit diesem Meerblick einfach atemberaubend!

Schon beim Betreten wirst du die hohen, offenen Holzbalkendecken zu schätzen wissen – sie lassen den Raum wirklich groß wirken. 1.148 Quadratfuß Wohnfläche, dazu eine 449 Quadratfuß große Veranda. Wow, jede Menge Platz!

Genieße eine voll ausgestattete Küche, schön geräumig für deine Mahlzeiten! Barhocker stehen auch für Mahlzeiten an der Arbeitsplatte bereit!

Auf der Veranda wirst du viel Zeit verbringen, sei es beim Essen im Freien oder beim Entspannen!

Genieße die Wandklimaanlagen im Wohnzimmer und in beiden Schlafzimmern im Erdgeschoss. Zur Info: Im dritten Schlafzimmer im Loft gibt es keine Klimaanlage, aber dafür Deckenventilatoren und ein Fenster, durch das eine frische Brise hereinkommt!

Das Hauptschlafzimmer bietet Meerblick und Zugang zur Veranda. Es verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett, eine bequeme Matratze und eine schöne Einrichtung.

Das Gästezimmer hat ebenfalls Zugang zu einer eigenen Veranda, von der aus du den Blick auf die Tennisplätze genießen kannst. Im zweiten Schlafzimmer steht ein Queen-Size-Bett.

Das Schlafzimmer im Loft verfügt über ein Full-Size-Bett.

Beide Badezimmer im Erdgeschoss sind geräumig.

Der Kona Makai-Komplex ist eine wunderschön gepflegte und sehr begehrte Wohnanlage direkt am Meer, gelegen am berühmten Alii Drive, nur 1,3 Meilen von der Stadt Kona entfernt. Diese wundervolle Anlage verfügt über wunderschön gepflegte tropische Außenanlagen, einen Pool und einen Wellnessbereich direkt am Meer, einen sonnigen Loungebereich, zwei Fitnessräume, einen Essbereich mit Gasgrills, Tennisplätze, eine Tischtennisplatte, ausreichend Parkplätze und wird nachts aus Sicherheitsgründen geschlossen.

Great property in a great location. Absolutely loved having the wrap around lanai, it gave ample space for lounging and enjoying dinner/games outside. Place stayed cool with no AC by leaving sliding doors open (there was AC if needed) but we didn’t have to use it at all. Ample beach gear and towels for all of our needs and the sunsets were breathtaking! Absolutely loved this place and would stay here again in a future visit! Mahalo!

Great location near Kona and beaches

6 adults stayed for 8 nights. Great central Kona location to see the island, visit downtown and enjoy the beaches. Condo is good size with lots of outdoor space. A/c works well but only is needed at night. Beds are comfortable. Beach chairs and spices were included. Only downsides are the view and the small condo type kitchen. Recommend!

It's a beautiful condo was alittle surprise there wasn't at least one or two coffee filters for my first day cup of coffee on lanai. The lint filter in dryer is broken looks like someone tried to fix it w/duct tape. I would love to have had black out curtains abit bright so early in the morning. I've stayed at this complex before, beautiful grounds, nice pool area and great place sunsets. Mahalo

We have family that live literally 5-10 minutes away so not only was it close to them, it's also conveniently located close to shops/restaurants/beaches so we could play tourists. We had a great experience with the property manager who responded quickly to a leaky faucet. They sent someone out right away and our vacation time/plans were not interrupted at all. We look forward to our future stays here!

Great location

This was a great property for our trip to Kona. It is about a one-mile walk into downtown Kona, but there is a close and delicious coffee shop for first thing in the morning. The condo was a comfortable stay for our 3 adults. We had initially planned to have 2 additional adults so my elderly mother was going to sleep in the loft. It worked well that the additional guests cancelled as the loft access is more of a ships ladder than it is stairs. I would recommend it for the very young or old. The condo is well stocked with everything needed in the kitchen as well as everything you could need for the beach. The property manager was responsive to our requests and reached out several times (via text) to ensure all was good. We had a great time and will look to stay there again in the future.

Reviewer Comments: The whole VRBO experience, to include the booking process, the local management, price, logistics, and apartment all met or exceeded expectations. I needed assistance with the door code because of a mistake I made and the mgt company responded in minutes. The apartment is spacious, nicely decorated, and offers a lot of towels and misc items for the beach. There are only steps to get to third floor which didn’t bother us and the views are worth it. The common shared areas offer tennis courts, pool, grills and great views of ocean. I would stay there again if ever back in Kona.

4 Days on the Big Island

The property was great for our group (5 adults). The condo was as advertised, clean and well stocked with basics spices and beach amenities like chairs and mats. The balconies are large and had ocean views. There was a great pool/BBQ/lounge/hittub/ping pong area for hanging out, as well as access to the shoreline (note there’s not sand beach here or within walkable distance). The only caution is the loft - the stairs were steeper than we expected and not accessible for some of our group (ie. to steep for easily carrying up luggage or for someone that need to go down starts to the washrooms in the night for example). It worked for us just fine but we definitely had to be aware when going up and down.I gave the location 4 stars only because most things were more than walking distance away so it meant always taking the car out and limiting options if our group didn’t want to go out together or if we all wanted to have a few drinks together.The communication, cleanliness and overall property were great! The island is beautiful!

Overall nice rental

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good location in a quiet condo complex.We had a few issues, The A/C unit in the living room just stopped working one night. It was fixed the next day but it was an uncomfortable day since it happened on the one day we were staying in. We also found a dead cockroach in one of the bedrooms and there were cleaners that pressure washed the deck while we were there and came back to find the cleaners had entered the condo through the sliding door and placed several pieces of furniture inside and never put them back. We weren't sure if they were done or not before we checked out.I understand the the maintenance happened earlier than expected and it wasn't like anything was taken but I have to mark off a couple of stars due to the unprofessionalism of the crew entering the condo while we were away.
