A charming villa set in beautiful gardens with sea & mountain views

The Lodge is a pretty villa in a quiet residential area, not overlooked, set in beautiful gardens with its own private swimming pool (4x8m), in the foothills above Paphos and Coral Bay. WIFI and air-conditioning are included. It has two bedrooms, one with ensuite bathroom. (2 bathrooms in total) There are beamed cathedral ceilings throughout the property making it feel light and spacious. Outside is a large shaded terrace overlooking the pool and a view of the sea. There is also an additional outdoor kitchen area with built-in barbeque and additional seating area.
The centre of Tala is a 10/15 minute walk away where you will find a small selection of traditional tavernas, bars, restaurants and small shops.

On your day of departure, if your flight is later in the day, it may be possible for you to stay at The Lodge later than the normal check out time but this needs to be agreed beforehand.
Installed for your safety are smoke alarm/detector and carbon-monoxide alarm. There is also a burglar alarm installed which is optional.

Ein Ferienhaus zum Wohlfühlen

In dem Ferienhaus mit dem schönen Garten, Pool und der schattigen Terrasse haben wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt.Auch die Ausstattung des Hauses war sehr zufriedenstellend und bequem. Darüber hinaus haben wir die Ruhe sehr geschätzt.

Roundabout the house it is very quiet , no big streets mostly nature . In the house you find everything you need and you can live like at home . we have been there the last week in march and the nights have been cold aboet 10 degrees . We could heat with the aircondition , and two electric ovens fastly . After coming from our daily tours , we don ´t want to leave the house and could relax there .

Many thanks to the hosts! it was a wonderful stay! Everything was clean and even more beautiful than in the photos! The coffee in the morning with a view of the sea was terrific! What we can definitely recommend is the Cabana Beach Bar! And while you're there, rent a buggy and drive up the coast to lara beach! Wonderful ! Otherwise, ask about the ship wreck, there is a restaurant there and I guarantee you have never eaten such delicious food! again and again !

A wonderful quiet place

We had a great time in The Lodge. Since it was a very hot week, the pool was a perfect way to find some refreshment and relaxation. The sleeping roomes were air conditioned which also gave us some relief from the heat. The surrounding was perfectly quiet, exactly what we were looking for (no mass tourism, no party sounds). The garden was very lovely, the figs tasty :-) Paul was very nice and helpful. Even though we had landed pretty late in Lanarca and reached The Lodge only at 11 p.m., he still welcomed as very warm-heartedly. All together, we had a wonderful time on the beautiful island of Cyprus and The Lodge was a big factor for that. We definitely recommend the place!

Great house, nice people, decent neighborhood

We really enjoyed our stay in Cyprus, and especially in this decent house. The property is very clean, orderly and well equipped. The neighborhood is quite and very clean, too. Even though the location is quite remote, which was exactly what we were looking for, the sea and many more activities are just a heartbeat away from the house. A great thank you goes to Deborah as well as Vic and Hazel, who gave us a warm welcome and excellent advice during our stay.

Ruhiges Ferienhaus in Tala oberhalb von Paphos

Das Ferienhaus "The Lodge" liegt ruhig außerhalb der Stadt Paphos. Dennoch kann man von dort alle Sehenswürdigkeiten an der Küste und im Troodosgebirge gut erreichen. Die Nachruhe ist hervorragend. Hervorzuheben ist auch der sehr schöne Blick auf das Mittelmeer von der Terrasse des Hauses aus. Uns haben die zwei Wochen zum Jahreswechsel 2015/16 sehr gut gefallen. Der einzige Nachteil: wenn die Sonne nicht scheint, gibt es kein warmes Wasser vom Dachbehälter.

The Lodge is a gorgeous villa, with a stunning garden and pool. What is exceptional about the villa is the communication from Debbie, she replies within minutes and the attention to detail. There are condiments available, who wants to spend money on salt and pepper, and everything you would need in a kitchen. You will definitely need a car though if you want to travel to Pathos and Coral Bay. We did manage to find one taxi company to take us to Pathos for the evening but it was expensive. We were prepared for this and had a great evening. The village square is in walking distance if you do want to stay local. Highly recommend Mario’s bar, can’t believe how cheap the drinks are! They also do snacks between 11am and 2pm which are really good. The staff in there are amazing! We would also highly recommend Mass SouraTavern. Why was this restaurant empty? The food and staff were amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant, particularly the Meze and the steak. A wonderful villa and Holiday. Thank you Debbie.

Perfect,

After 20 years holidaying in Cyprus, staying in new villas and apartments,I thought this one was the best so far, just perfect .The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed. The pool was fabulous, the beds very comfortable, the terraces and gardens were beautiful. It was so peaceful but close to restaurants and amenities.

Our stay was amazing! The villa was fantastic, in a quiet location and so beautiful. It was spotlessly clean and had everything you could need. The outside space was amazing with a lovely private swimming pool and great barbecue area, and the views were stunning. We hired a car, the villa is only about a 20 minute drive from Paphos airport, and within walking distance to Tala and all the lovely restaurants. Our host Debbie was lovely, with great communication and so helpful, as was Melanie who met us at the Villa to show us around and explain a few things.All in all we can not fault it and highly recommend a stay here.We will definitely been returning soon.Thank you Debbie.

Escape in the hills

I can say with confidence that this is one of the best stays I have had using any holiday home service. The home is quiet and tucked away in the hills of Tala. Myself, and my in-laws were there for a wedding in Paphos, and it was a perfect way to escape all the noise and have some quiet time for ourselves. The house is well appointed, and has all the amenities you could want. The check in process was very simple, and we really appreciate Melanie staying up late to let us in when our flight arrived later than expected. The whole stay was lovely. Highly recommend.

Perfect bliss!

Lovely spacious villa with everything provided. Great view and a splendid pool which was a godsend in the heat. Very chilled country area. Kids had a great time too and Tala’s restaurants were fabulous. Not far from Paphos and Coral Bay so very well situated. All in all…fantastic.

Very peaceful location but still only 15 mins from Paphos. Beautiful gardens very private, great facilities. Stayed for a week wound of loved to have stayed longer 😂 Would recconend for sure. Get a car to get out a d explore. Good choice of restaurants nearly and Lidl supermarket is 10min drive away. A home from home but without the U.K. rain!

Very nice house in good area

We had a good holiday in the Lodge. The house, garden and pool are all well maintained. You will find what is shown in the ad. We were disappointed in the cleanliness of the house when we arrived, though. The toilets, bathroom and kitchenware were not clean. Good quiet location close to the sea and shops.
