Thank you so much for your thoughtful comments, it's always nice when a review includes the words, "fantastic," "amazing" and "perfection." You were correct about one side of the house feeling a degree or two warmer than the other side. I recently learned that during the recent renovation, the AC ducts on that side were not quite ideally. I've since had the issue corrected, so everything is cooling as it should be. Thank you for the heads up! Constructive comments like yours that help me make the house the best it can be. I hope you'll come for another visit when you're ready for more waterfront relaxation. :)

It seems there may have been something you didn’t like about your experience, but since you did not contact me about any issues at the house during your stay, and didn’t leave any constructive feedback with this review, I’m left to try to figure out what the issue may have been. The only thing I can think of is that a week before arrival, you asked if you could check in at Noon (instead of the usual time of 4:00PM). I responded to say that I would be happy to accommodate this, and that to keep things fair between all guests, there’s a standardized fee schedule. From the curtness of your response, it was clear that my answer was not what you wanted to hear. I can understand that you wanted to arrive 4 hours early at no charge, but as I explained, since others have been asked to pay a small fee, I feel it is only fair to be consistent. It is unfortunate that for this, you chose to tarnish my otherwise perfect track record of reviews with your lower rating. I hope that anyone reading this will notice that every other review for this property is 10 out of 10, and will recognize this rogue one for what it is: spiteful. If you do happen to have any constructive feedback about the house itself, feel free to send it in a message, as I am always open to hearing ideas for how I can make things even better.
