This is a bird watchers haven, with plenty of ducks, swans and cranes found on the lake. Daytime activities can include enjoying the lake - for anglers there are bass, pike and panfish abundant, swimmers can get in a great workout swimming along the lakeshore, kayakers can enjoy a paddle around the lake, or simply enjoy the view of the water, maybe with a book in a rocking chair. You can also venture out and enjoy a hike at Hidden Lake Gardens, a wine tasting at one of the many local wineries or enjoy the shops and restaurants in downtown Tecumseh. Just be sure to return in time for sunset, the views from the lakefront are breathtaking. Evenings are great to spend enjoying one another's company next to one of the fire pits, wood burning by the lake or gas on the deck. Either way, be sure to take in the nighttime sky, the lack of city lights allows for some great star viewing!
