Gorgeous lakefront cottage and stunning setting in the heart of the Clark Lake community, right next to Eagle's Nest Restaurant and Eagle Point Marina. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful waterfront home on Clark Lake. Our cottage has plenty of room for your family and friends to stay and enjoy year round. We are surrounded by crystal clear, shallow water and clean sand - with a great dock to sunbathe on, and swim or fish from.

You won't want to miss the sunrise from the dock!

Less than 200 steps to Eagles Nest Restaurant, Ship Wreck Party Store, and Eagle's Point Marina.

Thank you for staying with us, and for the 5 star review. Yes, the "Little Red Cottage" is about 1200 square feet, but sleeps 10 comfortably and it seems you were able to fit your entire registered group comfortably...it may appear smaller when you bring another unlisted additional family with a motorhome and park it in the driveway and increase the size of the party beyond the capacity we've listed.

Nice location on beautiful Clark lake. Property is charming, but slightly outdated and acceptably clean. Host was amazing. Lovely welcome basket and flexible on check in time. Boat rental option is nice, however the boat had a loose and unsafe seat and ripped seats duck taped together. Not a good value for the price. Stairs are very steep with most bedrooms upstairs. Not very safe for young children. The back porch was great for the family. Overall grill, fire pit and kitchen items could use an upgrade, but fine if you do not plan to cook much. It worked fine for our mini family reunion, but not likely to go back to this rental.

There is nothing duct tape "together" on the boat. There are two small seat holes that we taped over that do not impact the boat experience at all. The boat has been inspected by two marinas and we go through it twice annually with the mechanics. You started this engagement by asking for a lower boat price, which showed you believed from the start you had a view of the "value" in your mind that was not in reality with the market. When I suggested you refer me to the place with the lower boat prices, you couldn't or wouldn't, and decided to rent ours "for convenience". We are the lowest price pontoon on the lake, and it's been summarized as a great value by everyone who has used it .... Except you. You ripped a comforter, stained another comforter, and stained a set of sheets. One comforter and one set of sheets had to be replaced as they were completely ruined. It's a 1930s cottage, yes, the stairs are steep. They are safe, and have heavy handrails on both sides. As most cottages, we spend most of the time outside. The only older appliance is the stove. The fridge, microwave and dish are brand new. I assume you could see the pictures when you booked the place and saw an older stove. The grill is also only a year and half old. We agree, probably best to not stay here again, it would be best for both of us. We would prefer to not have to be negotiated around for a very fair, value pontoon rental price and we would like to not have to replace more sheets and comforters from you trashing them.
