Private, newly renovated lakefront cottage on 10+ acres of land.

Enjoy the good life on beautiful and quiet Sweezey Lake. Lots of outdoor space with private walking trails and abundant wildlife. Newly renovated interior with great lake views. Enjoy cool lake breezes on the screened-in porch or the hot tub and fire pit on a cool night. Get on the water (except during the winter) with a private dock, kayaks, paddle boards, canoe, and paddle boat. Lots of other great amenities - gas fireplace, RV water and electric hookup (please coordinate with owner in advance if you intend to bring RV), tent platform, porch TV, EV charger, and bikes.

Liability Waiver:
You understand that swimming, biking, hiking and the use of non-motorized boats ("Outdoor Activities") is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from Outdoor Activities and hold owner harmless. You understand there are potential dangers that Outdoor Activities may present to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as the danger to any person with health risks, or engaging in Outdoor Activities while intoxicated or using any kind of drugs or medication, or while pregnant. You agree to wear life jackets while on or in the water. You agree to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents you may incur. All guests in my party acknowledge and agree that they have read and understand this waiver and they acknowledge that booking constitutes a binding and enforceable contract between guests and owner. You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for the consequences of those in your party. Rainy yet wonderful

Wife and I were her for a week getaway from busy life. This was the perfect place! Weather was colder than expected but made for great times snuggled on the couch or spending time in the hot tub. The hiking trail was very nice as well. We had our dog with us and days it did not rain we were able to take the trek and enjoy nature. Dog was very curious of the bee hive being the first one she has seen. Thankfully we did not get close enough for her to get "too curious" lol. Fishing from the dock was even relaxing. Was able to catch a few bass and plenty of bluegil. The area is so quite and peaceful and just what we needed. Thank you for the stay.

Great Spot!

Pretty location, perfect for a winter weekend getaway. Deer walking in the backyard, pretty view from the hot tub. Nugget ice machine! Original windows, so a tad chilly laying on the couch. Have to get the heater just right and put the fireplace on. But was a great stay!

Christmas on the lake

We have stayed here before and it was a great experience. This year we decided to come and visit family for Christmas. The property is well-kept and has a nice view of the lake. We stayed inside mostly due to the cold weather. The family with my grandkids came over to visit. There are some games and toys for children to play with. We plan to stay here again when we are in the area.

Amazing small town lake getaway!

Awesome property, great small sports lake. Dan was an awesome host, theres more than enough to enjoy between the acreage and the included water amenities. I have family in the area and this was a great spot to call home for the week.

Perfect peaceful getaway

We loved our short stay at the cottage! The location is serene. We spent as much time outside as we could, which was easy to do given how many activities were available to us. We loved walking on the trail, taking the kayaks on the water, and lounging in the hammock. The hosts truly thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. We can't wait to come back!

The property was exactly as pictured and described, and the owner was readily available and easy to communicate with. We were allowed to check in early and the property was great for our extended family egg hunt! Will definitely come back!

Clean and quiet on a nice little lake

Clean cottage with great lake views. It was a little colder than we anticipated, but we still tried to get out and enjoy the property as much as possible. The nature trails were nice for a little walk.

Great Stay

Very Clean and spacious home with great waterfront and property. We caught a bunch of fish right off the fock. Was with my somewhat disabled father. He was able to get down to the water with little trouble. Would be a great stay for families. Had everything we needed. Great stay!

Great Weekend

The house and amenities are exactly as listed. The place was very clean and the kitchen was well supplied with all the needed utensils. My group loves to cook and we had great time. Very nice property at the end of dead end road which made it private and peaceful.

Our hearts desire.

The. Cottage was clean & bright with all the amenities. The hot tub & gas fire were wonderful.Who ever thought of the door to close off main living from bedrooms was genious, specially for early to bed & rise folks.The trails and the view were just lovely.We were a busy graduation family group that so much enjoyed the property!

This house was stunning, we loved every bit of our stay!! They have everything you can think of, plus more!! The screened in porch was definitely our favorite! We went during the middle of a storm and who else can say that they were able to eat dinner, watching tv in the down pour rain! Relaxing and private

This is super clean and updated. I loved the screened in porch, hot tub, walking the trails in the morning, kayaking and using the paddle boat everyday. I even tried the paddle board since I never tried before! I saw so many deer. This is definitely a nice spot!

Everything you need

This was our second summer staying at this place on Sweezey Lake and it was just a good as last year. The house has everything you need to feel at home and enjoy your stay. They have comfortable bedding, towels for indoor and outdoors, life jackets, hot water, everything is clean, fire wood if you want to make a fire. There is no beach for swimming, but you can ride in one of the water toys and go to the sandbar to swim. We will be back!!
