North Coast Village does have a mix of updated and more original condos, and we understand how important those details are to the overall guest experience. We’ll be sure to share your comments with the owner for future improvement considerations. Regarding the refrigerator, the HOA does not encourage connected ice makers due to the risk of water leaks in the building, so many condos use ice trays instead. We also appreciate your note about the west-facing balcony and will review whether an umbrella or additional shade option would be a helpful improvement. While we’re glad our maintenance team was able to address the issue promptly the following day, we understand how disappointing it can be to encounter a maintenance concern at the start of a vacation. We also appreciate your comments regarding communication about the road closures. Unfortunately, temporary road closures and city-related traffic impacts can sometimes arise outside of our control, but we understand how frustrating this can be after a long day of travel, especially with children.
