Very enjoyable experience at this property. Area was quiet, property was clean and well maintained, check in and departure was easy. Will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place with great view!

We loved this condo—great location, very clean. Sunset views and clean beach. There were beach chairs and beach umbrella in closet for guest use. Bring your own beach towels. Plan to have your own soap for shower, dishwasher, laundry.

Nice, quiet, natural, beachy, relaxing; yet a Very quick trip to great food and fun,,,, I stayed for a week and did Not want to leave.... I certainly hope to be back!

Beautiful view

We had a great time and have stayed in this condo a few times now. The view from the balcony is magnificent and perfect for watching sunsets. It could have been a little cleaner but overall we enjoyed ourselves and would come again.

Lands End Building 11 #407

The condo was extremely clean and well appointed. The view of the sunsets from the balcony were amazing. There were 4 beach chairs, beach toys and an umbrella for us to use during our stay which was perfect. The only issue we had during our stay was with the dryer in the unit. It left marks all over several pieces of clothes we had in it. We contacted the rental office and the next day they had a tech come out to fix the problem. We never used it after that in fear it would ruin more clothes but we were told the problem was taken care of. Although there was nothing done about our damaged clothing items. That a side, we would definitely stay there again and enjoyed everything about the area and the condo.

July 2012 Two-Week Vacation at Lands' End

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 10th or so visit to a Lands' End unit for a July vacation, but our first time in this particular unit. The recent upgrades and finishes made it easily the top one or two units we've ever rented. There were just a couple of things that would have made it better: as others have noted, the mattresses were miserable. Our 21-yr old daughter slept on the sofa rather than in either of the twin beds, and I could only sleep about 4-5 hours a night in the king bed before having to get up due to back pain. And other than the dining room table chairs, there were no chairs in this unit! The family room has a nice leather sofa and an old, rather uncomfortable rattan loveseat - sized more like a futon than a sofa. No occasional chairs anywhere else in the unit. Other than that, this is a beautifully-updated condo, was exceptionally clean and the location on the Lands' End property is ideal.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've stayed at Lands End previously. We like the secluded beach but noted it was much busier this year. We always fly so do not have space to bring larger items. Each condo is under different ownership so we never know if there will be beach chairs or a beach umbrella. Unfortunately, this time there was a single beach chair. We bought one and left it behind. Considering the price of gas, more people are flying. Each condo should have at least two beach chairs (and probably more). The cleaning crew missed the coffee filter holder and the clothes dryer which was full of dirt and lint. I spent about 30 minutes cleaning the dryer and washer. There were gum wrappers and lots of dust behind the bedside table in the twin bedroom. The vertical blind slats kept falling off. On-site staffers (gate and office) were friendly and helpful. We may stay at Lands End again but not in this condo.

The condo was in pristine condition – clean, well kept, etc. The pictures actually make the condo look smaller than it actually is. There were beach chairs, and a cooler, and the beds were super comfy! The back deck was great – it was a busy week in Florida and while other parts of the beach we visited felt crowded we felt like we had our own private beach at Lands End! The kitchen was well stocked with plates, cups, wine glasses etc! The only critique was that the kitchen ware was almost too nice – we could have used some plastic glasses for the back deck/pool.Speaking of pool – big pool, right off the beach. A super friendly “life guard”/pool attendant that was there to make sure everyone behaved without making our kids feel like there weren’t welcome.Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Our plane was delayed and we unexpected arrived in the middle of the night, in the middle of a thunderstorm, and key pick up through resort rental was easy, and the guard at Lands End let us right in and helped us to our parking spot and condo.All in all great rental and great spot!!

This is our second time staying in one of these condos And we will return again soon. The only thing that we thought that needed looking into was that the door dint unlock easily at all. A couple of times we were locked out for awhile until one of us was able to jiggle the lock enough for it to open.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lands End is a beautiful complex. It has 24 hr guard at main gate, beach is clean and pool is clean and big. Overall a 4 out of 5 stars. When we first got there oringal room we booked was under renovation and Resort Rentals didn't know. We showed up at room with keys and it was a disaster inside. However Resort Rentals took immediate action and provided us with a nice room and credited our bill a little bit for inconvenice. Unit very nice but lots of Palmetto bugs in and around units in buildings. Carpet in main hallway was soaking wet and stained and stunk. Overall nice resort and Resort rentals people took care of issues right a way.

Great Place to Relax

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a fantastic time, the facility was in great shape, our condo was in great shape and after a trip to the local spirits store.... I was in great shape. The only thing I could have asked for was more sunshine, as the rain was heavy and frequent during our stay. We will be back and I have recomended this place to several friends. The security staff could se some work, I had an encounter with and elderly security person who just had a nasty disposition in general. He came over to me to complain about children in the hot tub... They were not my kids I explained and yet he continued to talk down to me. I can let this go, I did meet Lonnie of the security staff and the man was a gentlemen and very friendly and had a great positive point of view that was advantageous to anyone he talked to. Whatever yo are paying Lonnie... Pay him more and have him give the older fellas soem leasons on how to talk to potential retunr clients. Bottom line we will be back for a fifth year next year.

Beautiful condo in Land's End

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have have stayed at Land's End in Treasure Island many times. Most of the condos in here are very nice.This unit was nicely appointed but could use just a few extra finishing touches. The owners need to get softer mattresses and put headboards on the beds. Also, there are no beach items (like sand chairs or an umbrella). The air worked great, and there were lots of white fluffy towels. Good TV. Nice kitchen. Faces the beach for beautiful views but can get pretty hot in the afternoon.

Thanks for the great review. I am pleased to hear you had more plusses than minuses when here. We don’t require beach items from our owners because they are easily lost and/or broken causing a lot of replacements fees but I will pass on the suggestion concerning the mattress. Thanks again

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was there for 3 weeks. Everything was great.....except for the beds. The King bed wes passable...but the 2 singles were terrible. They were both very hard and uncomfortable. I would not rent that unit again,if the beds were not changed.Otherwise, all was great.

They take care of all the things you don't want to, so you can just enjoy the beach.

Wonderful alternative to expensive St. Pete hotels

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Previously we have stayed at a resort on St. Pete that was fun but very expensive. As a family of 5, with 3 kids ranging from teen to 6 years old, we needed an option that was more affordable, clean, oceanfront, and close to fun activities for all. This condo met all the marks and EVERYONE had a great stay. The condo was very clean, spacious enough given we didn't spend a lot of time inside, updated, and was a great location. The pool and beach were both easily accessible and the gate house had tennis rackets and volleyballs for the kids to borrow. Treasure island is close to the busy St. Pete oceanfront area so you can easily drive there for shopping and restaurants, but not nearly as crowded and an amazing alternative with the same gorgeous beach. Jonathan's Pass, grocery stores, beach water slides, restaurants, and tons of shops are within a short drive. I do think you need a rental car if you have flown as there isn't a lot in walking distance. We spent one afternoon down the street at Caddy's in one of their cabana rentals. While pricey and mediocre food, it was fun for all ages and if you split with family members, the prices is worth a fun afternoon there. We all agreed that we will never go back to staying at the fancy resort on St. Pete as this condo will be our go-to spot next year. The only draw back was construction at the complex right next to the unit but I'm sure that's not common and it wasn't a major problem other than no sleeping in.

Awesome Megan! pleased you and your family had a wonderful stay at Land's End building 11, unit 407. The condo is a "premier" unit (recently renovated), and it didn't disappoint! Thank you for your detailed review of your memorable stay. We are glad you found the condo clean, spacious and great location. How fun to have the beach and pool accessible with all the other amenities like tennis and volleyball with the equipment available to use. That is great discovering a short drive to John's Pass with all the shops and restaurants fun for the whole family. We hope you relaxed and we are hopeful you will join us again for a future stay.
