Had a great week here!! Beds are very comfy with great pillows; loved the sweeping views from the living room and balcony; had a few things needed or missing and management was quick to respond and a pleasure to work with. Has more beach toys/chairs/etc...than you will ever need!! A great small condo complex, with a nice pool & hot tub within walking distance of St. John's Pass.

Perfect beach view & sunsets

The condo was great. The view from the balcony was incredible! Amazing sunsets every night. We spent a lot of time on the balcony. The beds were very comfortable. You can walk to John's Pass from the beach or the road it is so close. Pool and hot tub were very clean and relaxing. This was a great experience and we would definitely stay here again. Beautiful condo.

Fabulous condo

You want to stay here.

This was our first trip to Madeira Beach and was not disappointed. The condo has an amazing view of the beach. The beds are comfortable, I really mean that too. The beds in the second bedroom are small for an adult but were definitely comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with cooking supplies and there’s plenty of towels and washcloths. The washing machine and dryer was much appreciated. We walked to John’s Pass and it was only about a 7 minute walk. I definitely recommend staying here! The hosts are very responsive and made sure our stay was enjoyable!

Chambre condos is a great place right on the beach! Beautiful view. Walking distance to Johns Pass. The itrip management was easy to contact, VERY responsive. Especially Mike. Would definitely recommend

Nice condo. Great location. Area is still pretty wrecked from 2 hurricanes, but the Chambre was in good shape. Pool not open, but I don't use pools on the beach. Comfy furniture, and beds. All appliances worked. Good stay.

Beautiful view

We loved our stay and felt so blessed to have found this gem. It was comfortable for my husband and I and two adult kids. We were quite disappointed to hear that the pool and hot tub would not be available during our stay because of the hurricane damage, but we can tell it will be lovely when completed. Construction noise was minimally invasive at times. The elevator was not working when we first arrive which was a struggle with our luggage but it was fixed by the time we left. Lots of beach chairs, noodles, kids toys, umbrella were great. We really appreciated the location and communication.

Excellent location, clean and wide beach. Condo just as represented in photos. All you need for a relaxing and wonderful stay. Walkable to many restaurants and shops and incredible view from the balcony. Thank you for sharing your beach life with us!

Beautiful Views

Perfect condo for getaway with spouse. Amazing beach views, calm environment, mostly updated furniture, clean pool area. Our only complaints would be shower head in master bath sprayed in crazy directions and the heater in hot tub was out at time of our stay. Still awarded 5 stars and would definitely stay again.

Second bedroom was very tight spaced and kitchen slightly outdated which is understandable for the price range. The only thing that could have been better is the cleanliness of areas that haven’t seemed to have been wiped down in some time such as trim/doors and such.

The property is what was expected, however, I cannot count the amount of bruises my family and I have from walking around the bed frames. They are knee and thigh level and stick out quite far. It is quite painful! Other than the bed frames the property was great. The people that live there were very nice and welcoming! We enjoyed having a corner unit.

We Had A Wonderful Stay!

We had a great stay at 401 Chambre! The Condo was just as pictured. It was clean and very well maintained. The kitchen was pretty well equipped. My only criticism there would be lack of dinner forks. There were several small desert forks, but only 2 dinner forks. More cooking untinsils would be helpful as well. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice. The master bed is very soft. In my opinion too soft, so that may be something to look at replacing in the near future. Other than that, the views were amazing. The pool and spa were very clean and well maintained. The grill area was wonderful. The light next to it made cooking at night so much easier. This place feels like home. The residents were so friendly and welcoming. It was quiet and relaxing. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend.

Nice updated condo

Condo looked recently updated with newer furniture. Beautiful place and great location on the beach close to shops and restaurants. A few notes.....It was strange that there was only cable TV in the king bedroom and not the living room. The pool area is only open from 8am to dusk so in the winter months you only have until 5pm to use the hottub. If you try to use later, you will probably get yelled at. The master bath sink was having issues and manager was repairing when we arrived but didnt finish repair and they never returned or communicated with us regarding the issue the rest of the week. Not sure if they were waiting for parts. It was usable but thought it strange. The shower curtain in the master bath is also too short so we found out water runs everywhere. After cleaning it up we decided it best not to use that shower. Otherwise it was a very nice place to stay and had a wonderful time.

We went for the Beach...we got the Beach

Our main purpose for this vacation was to sit/walk/relax on the beach and this property gave this to us. Please take some time to update some of the incidentals. The simple things: replace the shower curtains (they were gross), replace the skillet (I had to go out and buy one because there was no way I was cooking on the one in there, throw away the broken beach items (the umbrellas are broke and are going to get someone hurt), get new patio furniture (the table is being balanced by duct tape and bottle caps), buy a cookie sheet (so vacationers can bake the simple snacks), and take a look at the flow coming out of the master bath shower head (no way could it wash soap out of lady's thick hair). The sad thing is that I knew this going in by all the other previous reviews. I was just shocked you hadn't taken care of this already. Sorry to be a downer, but NONE of this took away from out time on the beach and that is what we wanted. For that, I thank you.

Thank you for the feedback. Although there is not much we can do about the water pressure, we have checked everything we can to improve it. Agreed about the patio furniture, and we have repalced it with a beautiful brand new set. We’ve also brought over some new kitchen items, and have replaced a couple of the beach chairs. Thank you!

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY

Do not book unless you like paying for a dirty rental! We requested an early check-in and was denied due to "cleaning and maintenance". When we arrived I always do a scan and video of the place I rent. The furniture is old and stained, floors dirty, no handle on the sliding glass door, cigarette ash on the patio, trash in bedroom, dirty dishes and completely dusty. It appears that all they did was make the beds and provide clean towels! With Covid every unit should always have a deep clean and this was not the case by any means. The condo was filthy. They charge cleaning fees only not to clean! There was no water pressure in the primary bedroom bath so only 1 shower could be used. If you think you're going to cook - think again. The kitchen is filled with whatever leftover items the owner did not want. No lids to pots, nothing to bake on - by no means "fully equipped". Just expect to make some basic meals if you choose to cook. In the middle of our stay we got a knock on the door and that they wanted to do pest control. It was early morning and we were not dressed yet. When we dressed and opened the door to allow them in they were gone. We waited all day for them to come back and never did. I called the office to ask if they would be returning as we stayed in the unit all day waiting and was told that there must of been some miscommunication. During that phone call I also informed of the dirty condo and he said it would be taken care of. No response, no action. I followed up with an email only to then be told that they received no notification and sorry for thr inconvenience. Didn't try to compensate by at least refunding me my cleaning fee. They seem to be fully aware, lazy and could care less about any issues. They even sent me an email asking if I had any issues to notify them. Seems to me that this email is sent because they already know there's going to be issues and on top of it do nothing about it! Don't waste your money here!

We apologize for any issues during the stay. As this guest reported, we were not able to provide an early check-in time for this guest, and we do understand how frustrating that can be after a long day of travel. For our busiest days, early check-in is difficult to accommodate, and we do want to make sure that the cleaners have enough time to complete their work, and that we are able to properly inspect. We are always available to our guests for issues or special requests, but we do ask Guests to let us know about any cleaning items within 24hrs of arrival so that we can take care of it right away. Unfortunately, this guest sent us an email stating the issues about 2 hrs prior to departure leaving us no time at all to address. Again, we are here to help. Please just let us know! We sincerely hope that our amazing beaches and area were enjoyable, and we thank all guests for feedback.
