Nestled in a hollow on 5 acres, Moore Hollow Cabin is the perfect blend of upscale and rustic, surrounded by forest and located in the heart of Hocking Hills! Beautifully remodeled with high-end finishes, you will love the modern, well-stocked kitchen, premium beds and updated bathrooms. The property is surrounded by private and state nature preserves which offers direct access to hiking and hidden treasures such as small caves, rock formations, and a water fall.

If you need food or other necessities, you will find it at Grandma Faye's Grocery which is a short 3 mile drive away! They even have ice cream, fudge, and a wonderful gift shop!

Enjoy rocking your worries away us under the front covered porch with a coffee on us even on those rainy days! The deck wraps around to the side of the cabin and offers a Weber gas grill, a log picnic table for outdoor dining, and four additional high end folding chairs.

After a day of hiking and exploring, come take a relaxing soak in the private 6 person hot tub fully covered under a pavilion. It's conveniently just a few steps from the lower level queen bedroom and living area. On the patio next to the hot tub is a log sofa rocker where you can star gaze until your heart's content.

Gather around a camp fire at night and get cozy making memories that will last a lifetime. Beyond the fire ring is a small babbling creek and massive cliff face which is the start of Moore Hollow. There is a path to the right of the fire ring which leads into the hollow where the exploring begins!

On the main level of the cabin, there is a bedroom with a king bed and attached full bathroom, an open concept kitchen, dining and living area as well as a half bath. The lower level has another living room with a full futon bed, two bedrooms (one with a king and the other with a queen) and a full bathroom. We provide plenty of bathing linens in both baths as well as some extras in the lower level king bedroom closet.

Both living rooms are equipped with fireplaces (gas upstairs and electric downstairs) with cozy seating perfect for relaxing, playing games, reading a book, or watching movies. There are smart TVs and DVD players in both living rooms as well as various paid streaming networks and a healthy collection of DVD movies. In the main level living room, we have numerous games, some reading materials, a Harman Kardon Bluetooth speaker, and a desk if work is unfortunately a must during your stay. The lower level living area has several children's books.

We have also added a powerful Wi-Fi mesh system which will reach far beyond the exterior walls of the cabin.

There is no need to worry about hard or bad tasting water. We have a Kinetico water softener system as well as a Brita filter pitcher in the refrigerator.

Guests can use the entire cabin and surrounding property other than the lower level hall linen closet and locked owner's closet in the lower level queen bedroom.

There is one exterior security camera installed on a pole facing away from the cabin. It only captures the driveway.

We allow up to two dogs, so please declare how many of your furry friends you're bringing if you choose to book with us. We also provide bowls, extra towels for muddy paws, and some toys.
