★ While the home is equipped to host 6 people, we think the perfect group size is 3-4. We are happy to host all 6, but keep in mind it will be a little cozier.

PET: We charge one time $150 pet fee. Please let us know if you are bringing a pet, max 2; Please add the pet fee under the option on the booking site (under the traveler to choose" I am traveling with pets"). If you did not pay upon booking, we can send you an invoice or charge you before you check in. Pets MUST be crated if you plan to leave them unattended. You will be charged $300 if we notice an unclaimed pet or uncrated unattended dog in the cabin. Guests will be responsible for paying for any damage caused by the pets.

Hot tub is always on (we don't turn it off). Please be aware that given the hot tub water could be changed as needed, the mountain water is extremely cold and it will take 10-12 hours to heat up and longer in winter time. In that case, it maybe not hot enough when you check in in the afternoon and you may not enjoy the hot tub on the 1st night (if we drain the water that day). No need to change the hot tube temperature settings.

The shower handle can be a bit tricky—turning it to the maximum actually makes the water colder.

While we don't supply firewood for the fire pit, there are numerous places to buy it on the side of the road on the honor system (bring cash) or at local gas stations/carry-outs.

Please prepare for mosquitos in summer time.

Environment Notice: Our home is nestled in nature, and occasionally, 'nature' finds its way inside. We make efforts to control pests with professional services, however, we cannot totally exterminate the bugs/rodents. We try our best to get rid of them and appreciate guests’ understanding. As we coexist with the environment, we kindly request keeping doors closed to minimize encounters.

Our drive way is flat and short. We provide snow removal for snowfall over 5 inches. The county crew plow the paved road well in snow days.

Our cabin uses well water, typical for the Hocking Hills area. It may have a natural odor since it's not treated with chlorine like city water. Bottled water can be purchased at a gas station or grocery, and we provide a filtered pitcher for your convenience.

Since our cabin is nestled beside a scenic creek and Hocking Hills weather can be unpredictable, occasional flooding may occur following heavy rain or severe weather. The water usually recedes within a few hours, allowing things to return to normal quickly. If an event such as a major flood makes the cabin inaccessible, we’re happy to work with you to reschedule your stay.
