Eingebettet in die Wälder der Wohnanlage im Hochland von Nantahala verfügt dieses prächtige, an einem See gelegene, benutzerdefinierte Haus über 3800 (plus oder minus) Quadratmeter mit über 1500 Quadratmetern überdachter Terrasse, viereinhalb Badezimmer, zwei große Zimmer, zwei Kamine, sowie drei Schlafzimmer sowie ein Schlafraum und Dachboden.

Die weitläufigen Terrassen des Hauses bieten von jedem Zimmer aus einen optimalen Blick auf den Nantahala-See und die Berge. Ein allmählicher Geländeweg führt zu den 30 m langen Ufern, dem Sandstrand und dem schwimmenden Boots- / Schwimmsteg. Kanus, Paddel, Elektrofahrzeuge Motor- und Schwimmwesten werden gestellt.

Die natürliche Schönheit und Ruhe des Anwesens sind unübertroffen. Nantahala ist ein Paradies für Naturliebhaber mit Wildwasser-Rafting, Kajakfahren, Kanufahren, Camping, Bergwandern und Radfahren. Aquone ist nur zweieinhalb Stunden von der Innenstadt von Atlanta entfernt. eine Stunde von Highlands, North Carolina; und eineinhalb Stunden von Asheville, North Carolina.

We had a great time at the Lake House. We swam, boated, hiked, played games, and generally were in awe of the beauty of the place. And the property manager was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommended.

My niece was married at a nearby venue. Many of us extended family stayed at this lakehouse. What a fabulous experience! I wish all my vacations went so smooth!!The host was quick with responses whenever asked questions before and during our stay. Having stayed in other short term rentals I was so impressed with everything being in working order and usable!! The kids (all adults but still kids :) just loved the water toy options. Paddleboarding and canoeing were a hit! The kitchen is stocked with CrockPots, a good variety of cooking utensils and pans, and everything else to make us feel at home….nice size fridge and freezer, too! To have many board games to choose from was awesome! And Chess!! The layout of the house has main bedrooms set apart from each other so we have our separate space. Even the loft was a nice place with some privacy since everyone at night were in their own rooms Listening to the sounds by the fire pit at night, mornings on the deck viewing the smoky mountains ahh just lovely and so relaxing. You won’t be disappointed with this vacation home!

We had a wonderful week at this beautiful home. Everything was perfect for a relaxing family trip with our group of all ages. The layout of the home worked great and everyone had plenty of space and bathrooms connected to their bedroom. Steps were easy and the kitchen was very well stocked for our cooking and baking. We had all we needed the whole week. Loved the downstairs living room for an extra spot to relax. We took full advantage of the kayaks, paddle boards, and water skis, plus the storage area was very well organized. We also all loved the hot tub and the swings on the deck! We have rented many places on Lake Nantahala and this house had the easiest road access to driveway and also the shortest distance down to the lake, and there was adequate parking for 3 SUV/minivans. The yard was lovely and the bonfire area was great. The dock was large and the spot on the lake is perfect. We all enjoyed swimming off the dock, cruising on the pontoon boat we rented, hiking, lunch at the NOC, and dinner at nearby Lake’s End. We hope to come back very soon!

We had a blast on Lake Nantahala for a family reunion! This was a great location and we loved being on the lake. The house had so much space and we loved making s’mores down by the lake! Using the boat made it very convenient to travel to family so we didn’t have to drive the whole time we were there. Brad was a great host!

Great Place!!

We had 6 adults and 7 kids under 9, and the house was perfect for our large group. There are tons of options for entertainment nearby, fishing, hiking, or you can stay home and enjoy the beautiful lake. We are already looking forward to next year!

A perfect trip

This getaway was just perfect. So much to do for everyone, relaxing on the porch overlooking the lake, water activities, everything we needed for cooking out, great time cooking s'mores at the fire pit, beautiful sunsets, inviting jacuzzi on porch, and a quick drive to local activities on the Nantahala and in Highlands, NC. A perfect trip.

A haven in the mountains!

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed so many aspects of our vacation at this beautiful home! It is completely outfitted with anything you could need for indoor or outdoor activities. Our teenagers were down at the water during most of our stay - so nice to see them away from screens enjoying themselves and interacting with the whole family! I whole-heartedly recommend this home!

476 Lakeshore: A Slice of Heaven!

This was our third visit to this amazing property, and it just gets better with time. The house is lovely, well-appointed, and comfortable. The view of the lake and mountains could not be better. The lake water is clean, and our group of 7 had the best time swimming off the dock. The kitchen had all we needed to make meals for the family, but we did visit Lake’s End for dinner one evening. We had to wait about half an hour for a table, but it was worth it. Yummy food. Great service. We would highly recommend staying in this lovely home in this amazing setting. We’ll be back!

Quiet,peaceful, and beautiful !!!

The home was well/equipped with necessary household items. We enjoyed the boat and all the water toys also! The mountains are beautiful and the weather was pleasant and comfortable for the first week in August....A wonderful place to relax and unwind!! We enjoyed seeing lots of shooting stars!!!

Great family vacation house!

Tastefully decorated, comfortable, well-outfitted house with gorgeous views-really nicely set up for a multi-generational family vacation like ours. Comfy downstairs area for the kids, and good wifi. House is in great condition with all sorts of options for water sports and general relaxation. Owners quickly remedied a check-in snafu, which was much appreciated, and were otherwise very responsive and provided lots of thorough info about the house and the area. We’d love to return - Lake Nantahala is a hidden gem!

Beautiful views

We had a group of 12 adults and one child, it accommodate us perfectly, we all loved the house. We only had problems with the drive way it was very steep and difficult to park 3 cars. Other than that I would definitely stay in the house again.

House and lake were nice. Area is remote. Lake traffic not crowded. Take your food provisions with you for your stay. Restaurant is nice. It's a dry county so if you want alcohol, get it before you get there.

Nice stay!

We have stayed at several spots on the lake. This is the best view yet. Access to the lake is by far the best yet. It is a super nice house also. Plenty of room for my family of seven. The only downer is the driveway access. But, we hope to return there in the future. If we do It would be the first house we have stayed in twice over the many years we have vacationed in the area.

So glad you enjoyed your stay! I agree with your thoughts on the view...best on the lake. Please come back to visit again. Thanks for putting up with the steep driveway, being in the mountains sometimes calls for a steep driveway to get the house in just the right place on the lot.

Great spot on the lake

The house was perfect and the access to the lake was great! Kayaks and canoes provided, which led to hours of fun. Swimming off the dock was great, too! The only challenge is the driveway—pretty steep. Low clearance vehicles will have a challenge. The owners give good tips on how to manage it, though.

What a spot!

This place is amazing! The house is nice and very accommodating. Bradley is a terrific host. But most of all, this location is simply amazing! The lake is pristine. The shoreline across from the house is national forest. The stars at night are incredible! We stayed for 3 nights and never got back in our car until it was time to check out. Never wanted to. Highly recommend this sweet little corner of the universe.
