Absolutely perfect. Love the location. Beautiful authentic Old San Juan stay. I love the cats that love at the Abraham Lincoln monument across the street. Walking distance to night life and small grocery store, and many souvenir shops and more. No parking. Don't rent a car.

This was an amazing vacation. The property is beautiful. So close to many stores, restaurants, and not too far from El Morro. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

First Visit to Puerto Rico

This was our first visit to Puerto Rico. Our stay was excellent. Really enjoyed the location and the ease of exploring Old San Juan. We especially enjoyed our morning walks along the city walls. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Property in a Romantic part of Old San Juan. Close to everything in Old San Juan

This property was perfectly set in the beautiful historic Old San Juan. Only minutes walk to all the local attractions. My family loved its authentic feel, The host was very responsive and meet us on property to give us insights to restaurants and local sites. I highly recommend this location. Perfect for my family.

Amazing accommodations in Old San Juan

The apartment is perfect. It has everything you’d need from the kitchen supplies, to beach towels, to a comfortable bed with air conditioning, ideally located for a visit to Old San Juan. Beyond that, the feeling of the place is inspired. The art work, the interior courtyard, just everything felt right. We were sorry to leave.

An absolute gem

Loads of charm, great location, and excellent communication from the host. We loved this space so much! Plenty of room for our family of four. Well provisioned for food prep and cooking, and just a short walk to the grocery. 10/10 property, I can’t imagine better accommodations for a stay in Old San Juan.

Lovely colonial get away

Lovely place! Pictures are accurate, the place is quaint, cozy and has lots of charm and character, yet very spacious for a party of 4. I particularly enjoyed the fact that there is no TV.Close to grocery stores, restaurants and shops. Located on a quiet street, Haydee was a great host, came to meet us as soon as we arrived and even checked on us the following day. Please read all of her recommendations and pointers which are found in her emails and a binder in the property’s. I highly recommend this property.

Charming Stay

This is an old property, described accurately. It is well positioned and is an especially good value comparatively speaking. I wouldn't plan to spend hours "at home" but as a place to start your day with a cup of coffee in the courtyard and return at days end to sleep it was perfect. The host was very accommodating and responsive. Check other properties to appreciate the value.

Aartsy haven in beautiful Old San Juan

The loveliest colonial style, eclectic art filled home in a quiet, residential area of Old San Juan. Haydee was a kind & informative host - I truly appreciated her thoughtful dining & cocktail recommendations & especially loved La Madre and St Germain Bistro. The verdant courtyard is the center & star of the home, so peaceful & welcoming. I’m a sucker for a great shower while traveling & I was not disappointed. The location was only a short walk to many places of interest, including Castillos San Cristóbal & San Felipe del Morro. I ran to El Escambrón beach, which was lovely and not overly crowded. I cannot recommend this jewel of a home enough - & look forward to returning as soon as I can.

Our stay in Old San Juan was unforgettable thanks to this incredible home. The location truly can’t be beat—just a few blocks from amazing restaurants, historic sites, and all the charm of the city, yet somehow perfectly quiet at night, even on a lively Saturday with music and people everywhere.The house itself is a masterpiece. The art, colors, and décor are beautifully curated, giving the whole space a vibrant, unique personality that feels both stylish and welcoming. And the master bed… wow. It was like sleeping on a cloud.One of our favorite features was the beautiful interior courtyard. It felt like a hidden oasis—calm, airy, and perfect for relaxing. The hammock was the cherry on top.We’ve stayed in many rentals, but this one set a new standard. It absolutely ruined us for all other places. We can’t wait to return!

Great location & beautiful place

Loved everything about the surroundings. Nice layout with open-air atrium. Could hear birds chirping from atrium. This atrium connects to master bedroom, which is very comfortable. All other rooms on main floor so it would be easy for someone with mobility issues to stay here. Gorgeous artwork throughout, very tasteful furnishings and everything needed for kitchen. Sleeps 4 in two bedrooms - maybe more with young kids. Most of all, this place is within easy walking distance (about 5 minutes) to main tourist sites but the neighborhood is quiet and two streets over from where all the shops and restaurants are. Just lovely!

Family spring break

We had a great time! Host was a great communicator, met us at the property as she lives next door. Showed us around, went through the map with us pointing out favorite spots for us to try and checked in throughout our week stay. We had a later flight and she allowed us to leave our luggage for a bit instead of dragging it around town with us on our last day. We also had a minor incident of breaking something on accident within the property. She was very gracious and understanding about it. Would recommend and stay again! The only thing to note is there is no screen, door or anything between the open air patio and the rest of the house. Bugs were not an issue though which I am grateful for.

A Magnificent Home Perfectly Located

This Veijo San Juan home was absolutely perfect in every way. Situated in the residential area in the NE quad of Veijo San Juan near San Cristobal, it was extremely quiet and peaceful, with very little auto traffic as the street is calm and narrow. It’s truly in a beautiful location with easy fast access to main roads from the nearby parking garage (no street parking). Inside, the home is something of a wonder. Beautifully decorated rooms with comfortable furniture and beds, large open spaces with high ceilings, two complete bathrooms—one on each end of the home. Dissecting the home in half is an open air courtyard filled with live plants and a fountain. The kitchen is open to this area. The layout is super ideal for two couples, or adult family travel with two good sized bedrooms that each have a bathroom and are on opposite ends of the home. It’s great for privacy! The kitchen is well equipped and more than enough. The fridge is ice cold! And the artwork throughout, and architecture, is so pleasing and interesting that it’s a joy to step back in for the night. Our host was so kind and generous with her time and her communication excellent! The home has everything you need, and it feels so personal. I would choose this home again and again. My adult son and I truly had a magnificent stay!

We truly enjoyed our stay! The home was beautiful, extremely clean, and exactly as pictured. Our host was kind, responsive, and accommodating throughout our visit. Our flight arrived earlier than expected on our first day, and she was gracious about accommodating our early arrival, which we really appreciated.The one thing I would mention for future guests is the A/C. While the property does have air conditioning, during our stay it was primarily available in the upstairs master suite. The home also has a beautiful open-air design, which I wasn’t personally familiar with before this trip, and the downstairs areas can become quite warm during the summer.My mother stayed in the downstairs bedroom, and our host thoughtfully provided several fans in addition to the ceiling fan. We genuinely appreciated her effort to make her comfortable, but even with the fans, the room remained very warm, and having multiple fans blowing aggravated her allergies. I offered to switch rooms with her, but the stairs made the upstairs bedroom difficult for her to access.My only suggestion would be a portable A/C unit for the downstairs bedroom. I think it would make a tremendous difference for guests who are sensitive to heat or have difficulty with stairs.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and I would absolutely return, especially with an additional cooling option downstairs. The home was a beautiful part of our Puerto Rico experience!
