Prime spot in Old San Juan - Beautiful & Central place

We had a fabulous time! It was a wonderful place to stay, comfortable, stylish and just as good if not better than the photos. Paloma was an attentive and thoughtful host, the best. It's the top floor so you do climb a number of steps but it's so worth it because the private deck on the top of the bldg is so wonderful. We spent as much time out there as we could. It is easy to walk all of old San Juan from this place. No car needed - better not to have one. Enjoy!

Couldn’t beat the location for walking around old San Juan. The accommodations were just as described and the outdoor patio had great views of sunsets and mountains. Yes, the stairs are challenging, but it was known going in that we were going to have to go up four flights. Highly recommend!

We stayed for 3 nights. Everything as described, well stocked and very clean. The location was close to alot of restaurants and points of interest. The patio was great, felt like we were on top of the world. Great communication as well ! We even survived all those stairs!!!

Wonderful!

Paloma was a gem, great communicator! What a beautiful penthouse in a great location in Viejo San Juan. A mesmerizing view from the terrace, that comes with a four legged friend who lounges for fun and gives great company. Highly recommend a stay here, just be prepared to climb some steps, but completely worth it. Looking forward to a future visit again!

Perfecto!

This apartment is beautiful, clean, spacious, comfortable, with a gorgeous rooftop terrace in an absolutely perfect location. It is walkable to all of the amazing sites and shops and restaurants in Old San Juan, and also a fairly short walk to beautiful El Escambron beach. The beds are very comfortable (just the right amount of firm) and the shower/bathroom space and kitchen space are all great, with everything you will need! The owner is wonderful and very responsive. Overall, this was absolutely perfect for my two teenage daughters and me and I would most definitely stay here again!

Lovely relaxing stay in old San Juan

The apartment is exactly as described and depicted in photos on the listing. Very comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed the terrace every day and the views of the harbor and the historic city are fantastic. Everything is within an easy walk no need for a car. We will be back!

Ready to Come Back!

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying here last week, and it was a perfect experience. The unit was unique, open, and airy, and had all of the amenities (and more) that we could have asked for. You are a 5-to-10 minute walk from anything you need in Old San Juan, from groceries to restaurants to shopping. As mentioned in other reviews, the terrace was amazing. We were able to sit and enjoy a drink while watching cruise ships and freighters go to and from the port. The views were wonderful, and you are just far enough away from the noise of Old San Juan that it is very quiet and peaceful. The bed and couches were very comfortable, and the shower had plenty of hot water. All of the toiletries and linens needed were available. We brought our Firestick and linked up with the in-unit wifi, having no problem watching our favorite movies and shows (because of this we can't speak to what is/isn't available in terms of cable, etc.) We did notice that the TV is a Smart TV, so safe to assume you can sign in directly to any of your on-demand services without issue. Paloma was a dream host. Her responses were quick, and her recommendations for things to see and do were fantastic! Needless to say, we will be back. Thank you, Paloma!

Loved this place!

My husband and I absolutely loved Paloma's apartment! We stayed a week and will definitely be going back again soon. It's in a great location ... not too busy or noisy, and only a couple of minutes' walk to reach the centre where all the hustle and bustle of Old San Juan happens. The apartment is spotless, spacious and safe as it's on the 3rd floor. The private terrace is large and great for sundowners or tanning. Paloma was really helpful and responsive too. My husband worked a bit while we were there and the space and wifi speed was good.

Lovely apartment in Old San Juan

Lovely, bright and airy apartment. We came to Old San Juan for a family wedding and enjoyed having other family members come over for coffee and visiting. AC worked well in 100+ degree temperatures. Enjoyed the terrace with views of the bay. Comfy bed, nice bathroom with plenty of hot water for shower. Kitchen well equipped. Host responded right away to our questions. Quiet, yet close to everything you might need or want. We were able to walk to the church, restaurants, gelato store, grocery and pharmacy easily. Uber was quick if you wanted to go farther. Guests should be aware of the 48 stairsteps to reach the apartment and that there are multiple levels and steps within the flat. This was not a problem for us, but might be for others. There are some minor cosmetic issues with wear and tear in the kitchen(cupboard doors) but would still give it a 5 star rating. A little gem in Old San Juan.

Lovely top floor place with great terrace and views

We really enjoyed staying at Paloma’s place. It’s in one of the best parts of Old San Juan. The terrace and views across OSJ and the bay are unparalleled. It was lovely to spend evenings on the terrace. It is also fairly quiet for OSJ, above the fray of the city. Bedroom was comfortable and quiet. Kitchen is well equipped, we actually cooked quite a few meals there. Highly recommend this place, if everyone in your party has good mobility. The stairs can be challenging, as the condo is on the third floor, and when inside, there are steps between the rooms.

Charming apartment with artistic vibe

We had a fabulous stay in Old San Juan. The position of the apartment could not be better, & we loved sauntering through the old cobbled streets. The last flight of stairs up to the apartment are a challenge, particularly with bags. We had no problem but can imagine that peeps with young children or with mobility issues may struggle. Check in was a breeze & any questions were answered quickly. We loved hanging on the terrace & watching the cruise ships sail by, particularly at night. The apartment has an artistic vibe & an interesting layout. It’s full of character & a little quirky, in a good way! We loved it & plan to return next year.
