Relax and unwind in the majestic Black Mountains located 10 minutes from Black Mountain and 25 minutes from Asheville. This opulent three-bedroom, two-bath log cabin is beautifully decorated with fine linens and towels. Situated on seven acres with open, expansive, long-range views, you will recharge and renew your spirit as you relax in this peaceful environment.
Newly renovated, the cabin boasts state-of-the-art appliances and technology including wireless internet, a 40-inch flat-screen TV, an 8-person hot tub, an open kitchen with a breakfast bar, granite countertops, Jenn-air stainless steel gas stove, gas logs fireplace, laundry, and bedrooms on the main level along with a large wraparound deck to enjoy the long-range mountain views. So relaxing you'll want to visit year after year! If needed, there is a crib, booster seat, and toys stored in the hall closet. A fenced backyard makes it nice if you decide to bring your dog.
The subdivision (High Rock Acres) roads are gravel for approximately 2 miles. NO 4WD is required unless wintry conditions exist. Bedroom #1 has a Queen bed with fantastic mountain views and access to the deck. The bathroom is just across the hall. Bedroom #2 has a King bed and mountain views. Bedroom #3 has two Twin beds and two Twin trundles. Bedrooms 2 and 3 share an attached Jack-and-Jill bathroom. All bedrooms are on the main living level.
Please note: SHEETS AND TOWELS ARE INCLUDED for your convenience. This house is dog-friendly with a $100.00 non-refundable fee per dog (maximum of two). Sorry, this home is not cat-friendly due to common allergies. During the colder winter months, icy and/or snowy road conditions and delayed snowplow operations are possible within the development. From December through March, please come prepared with AWD or 4WD vehicles. We also highly recommend travel insurance.
This home is located in the High Rock Acres community, which is a private community with ongoing road construction occurring due to Hurricane Helene. While roads are now passable, ongoing construction has forced traffic down to one lane. For the safety of the cews, drivers must drive slowly and yield to the downflowing vehicles. Please use caution in this area and plan for possible delays. We strongly recommend arriving during daylight hours if possible.
