Ladera del Mar is a developing community on the edge of Playas del Coco.  The location gives you quick access to Playas del Coco and Playa Hermosa and is just a 25-minute drive from Guanacaste Airport (LIR), near Liberia.  Playas del Coco offers several supermarkets, fruit vendors, and more restaurants, bars, and shops to count.  Enjoy a walk along the beach boardwalk or stroll the beach from point to point for a 3km walk. Many scuba diving, sport fishing, and sightseeing tours depart from Coco. You’re also close to several area day trip spots – waterfalls, hiking, hot springs, and mud baths, cultural experiences, and river tours. Playas del Coco is the perfect home base for an amazing Costa Rican vacation!

Due to the remote location of the home, we highly recommend that guests have a rental car for their stay.
- If planning to use private transfers - The steep grade of the driveway makes it difficult for larger transfer vans to access the home so multiple vans may be required, depending on your group size.
- If planning to use taxis - We do not have Uber or Lyft here and acquiring a taxi can sometimes be difficult. We can share local taxi numbers and we recommend that guests book taxi trips in advance. If you have a larger group, you must book taxis in advance as most taxis here are 4-door sedans and multiple taxis would be needed to transport a larger group.


VARIABLE PRICING - While this home sleeps 18, the pricing starts for groups of 10.  This variable pricing structure allows groups of all sizes to enjoy the home.  Please be sure to enter your accurate group size for proper pricing.
