Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry your stay did not meet your expectations. We would like to provide some additional context. Guests may check in after 4:00 PM; however, you entered the unit approximately two hours early without prior approval or communication. At the time, our staff was still completing final inspections and walkthroughs. Once we discovered the unit had already been occupied, we completed our inspection and did not observe the trash or many of the cleanliness concerns mentioned in your review. The maintenance visits were related to an active water leak affecting the unit below. Maintenance had to inspect multiple units to locate the source of the leak and later verify that the issue had been resolved. While we understand this was inconvenient, these visits were necessary to prevent further property damage. When you initially contacted us regarding the floors, we immediately offered the option to check out and receive a refund for the unused portion of your stay. We did not receive a response until the following morning, after the first night had already been used. As a result, charges for the occupied night, linens, and cleaning remained applicable. We were never notified during your stay that the toilets were not flushing properly, bathtub stoppers were missing, or the coffee maker was not working. Hi Shannon, first we want to thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We appreciate your feedback as it does help us to improve things. We usually do an inspection of the unit before guests arrive but found that you had checked in almost 2 hours prior to the posted check-in time. This unit was checked the day before and our staff noted none of these things you mentioned to us. There were no photos of these items provided to us either so we have no way of validating these claims. We do understand the balcony being dusty is inconvenient, they were doing some resodding and stuff right below this unit's balcony and unfortunately the winds from the beach blow sand on the balconies all the time. We do clean off the balconies as well as the furniture but sometimes they do get sandy again before guests check in. We will definitely let the owner know about the pull out couch so that they can replace that. There is an onsite restaurant that is open called Arr Bar & Grill. The other restaurant is undergoing renovations and does have plans to open sometime this year. The poolside cabana is also open as well. Thank you again for your feedback!
