A conveniently located self-catering apartment with huge character set in a 16th century building just minutes walk from the Rialto Bridge and central Venice.
The newly refurbished apartment sleeps 4 people comfortably and is furnished to a high standard with antiques collected from around the world. The dining and living areas are spacious and comfortable . A marble bathroom and double bedroom are located off the main room . Stairs lead to a mezzanine floor with 2 further single beds . The kitchen is well appointed with washing machine and dish washer . Take your breakfast espresso on the private and romantic wooden terrace and enjoy a 360 degree view of Venice 's unique rooftops.
Long and short term rentals are considered . No pets.


How to get to the apartment from the airport: You can get a water taxi directly to the apartment. 25 minutes ride plus only 3 minutes walk.

How to get to the apartment from the station: Get on vaporetto (ferry boat) number 1 and get off at San Stae (3rd stop about 10 minutes). From there you will have 8 minutes walk.

The apartment is absolutely beautiful, so clean and comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay - thank you. There are some beautiful artworks and antiques, the beds were all comfortable, lovely shower and bathroom, the WiFi worked well and the views were stunning. Despite our late arrival (11pm) the lovely Lorenza met us as we arrived in our water taxi and showed us around the apartment, this was much appreciated, especially given the late hour. We would definitely stay again and would recommend to all! (Except those who don't like stairs - we were fitter by the end of our stay though!)We had some wonderful meals and highly recommend Osteria al Vecio Forno and Bakero, along with some great recommendations from the book in the apartment.

The whole process of check in, with Lorenza meeting us at the water taxi drop off point and walking us to the apartment with a full tour was perfect. The apartment is so beautifully decorated with relics from other countries. It is stocked with all the necessary items and the roof top deck for sunset was a highlight. Alessandra gave us very nice restaurant recommendations and was great at communicating.

We loved our stay at this beautiful and tasteful apartment. We really enjoyed the roof deck! The only thing negative was that this is not really meant for two couples—our mistake—the upstairs single beds were not comfortable for adults, though would have been great for kids. Everything was wonderful about the apartment and our stay. The apartment itself is lovely, clean, well equipped, unique and comfortable. We loved the rooftop deck. The AC was much appreciated! The host Alessandra and her local contact Lorenza were both very responsive and clear with all communication. The neighborhood was perfect, very central but very quiet during the nights and mornings. There is a good bakery downstairs. We would recommend to anyone who does not mind stairs and in relatively good shape. We would stay again if we visit again. Thank you!

Fantastic place & Location

We loved the place and the location. Clean and it was fun to open all the windows and listen to the street chatter every morning. No cars on Venice is sooooo nice. We loved the location with a coffee shop right in the building. Every morning, croissants and cappuccino.

Delightful in every way

We stayed a week. The flat is in an excellent location. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Also delightful in its design, furnishings and artwork. It is a dream cottage in the sky. I would give it 10 stars if possible. A water taxi from the airport or train station will land you 100 yards from the front door. If you arrive by train it is a short 10 minute walk. We loved this flat.

Worth the steps to the apartment!!! The views were magnificent. The apartment was incredible!! Waking up each morning and opening the shutters to the streets below felt like I lived there. Centrally located. Coffee/pastry shop downstairs was a MUST each morning. Highly recommend.

Fantastic flat in Venice

Wonderful host. Cute flat in San Polo that was really only a 15 min walk to the major sights. Lovely shops on the street and a grocery store nearby. Family of four with two kids ages 14 and 19. Big enough to all have our own space. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful views away from the hustle and bustle.

We had a wonderful stay at Alessandra’s apartment. It was spacious, comfortable and felt like home. We were met at San Stae and guided to the apartment. It’s in a great, quiet location; very convenient to have a cafe right downstairs and short walk to the supermarket. And you’re never more than a few minute walk from the Grand Canal. The crown jewel of this place, as others have mentioned, is the 360* rooftop terrace. Stunning views and a peaceful space to eat and drink while taking in the beauty of Venice. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Charming and Spacious

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. Lorenza, the host’s assistant, met us as we disembarked from the water bus and walked us to the apartment. The apartment was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. There are coffee shops, restaurants and bars close by. Alessandra, the host, was very responsive to our questions, both pre-arrival and post arrival. She even arranged for a water taxi to take us to the airport at the end of our stay. I forgot to mention the roof top patio…stunning views! Great place and would absolutely stay again!

We stayed at Alessandra’s penthouse apartment for four nights in early October. The place was clean and had everything we needed, including a washer and dryer, a full kitchen, and even a rooftop terrace with a great view. It features many custom-made elements such as bookshelves, doors, and a loft. It’s decorated with high-quality antique furniture and marble. The bed was comfortable, with a cashmere blanket. The space was more than enough for just the two of us. The bathroom was spacious with a fantastic shower. There are 69 stairs to reach the apartment, but we didn’t mind at all. The stairways are wide, making it easy to carry our suitcases. Lorenza met us at the water taxi stop (80 Euro from Saint Lucia train station. It’s very expensive but convenient.), just a few minutes from the apartment, and showed us around. I appreciated that Alessandra sent me restaurant recommendations, places to visit, and transportation info well in advance. The rooftop terrace was an ideal spot for morning coffee and an aperitivo. We walked 5 minutes to San Stae, a Vaporetto station, to get to the Marco Polo airport for returning home, which was super easy for 18 Euro. We would definitely stay at Alessandra’s place again!

Great Venice Apartment

My husband and I were traveling with our 2 adult children and this was the perfect apartment for us during our stay in Venice. Alessandra is a great host, providing many recommendations for everything from restaurants to water taxis. And I cannot say enough great things about Lorenza the property manager. Our train arrived later than planned and she patiently waited for us at the vaporetto stop, guiding us from the train station to the correct water bus line. And despite it being late, she took the time to show us around the apartment and ensure we were settled and had everything we needed. The location is fabulous - The views from the rooftop are spectacular and the cafe right downstairs is a must stop for breakfast each day. We also appreciated the air conditioning as it was quite warm during our stay at the end of May. As mentioned in a few other reviews, just be aware there is no lift - it wasn't a problem for us but just be prepared to climb the stairs with your luggage. Highly recommend this property for your Venice holiday.
