The apartment is in an excellent location - very close to S. Marco, Accademia Bridge, S. Stefano - all within 5 minutes and yet is very quiet with no passing traffic (people or canal traffic). Very close to Alilaguna and Vaporetto stops - so easy to get to and from Airport and travel around the city. We enjoyed our 5 night stay very much and will seriously consider staying here again on our next visit.

Beautiful, immaculately clean flat in a very quiet and safe-feeling area; yet only a very short walk to the heart of Venice and all the wonderful, lively hustle and bustle. We especially enjoyed sitting out on the veranda with our coffee in the morning and later with our wine. Thank you to Augusto (the very kind and helpful person that met us at the closest bridge, walked us to the apartment and went over details of our rental) and to Marta (our wonderful 5* host). Venice - such a beautiful city!

The host is so thorough and kind. The home is decorated with family heirlooms which makes it special. The location is wonderful, easy to walk to restaurants, shops and museums. We really loved our stay

Property was clean, had everything we needed although we didn’t cook while there. The balconies were nice but it was too hot out to enjoy. AC worked great and was very welcomed during breaks from exploring.

This is lovely place to stay in Venice with an exceptional host. The communication was excellent and very helpful as we arrived. The space is beautifully decorated and very clean. The only thing that would make this rental even better would be to add two small things; luggage stands and some trash bags to make taking the trash out easier. Overall, I highly recommend it- clean, beautiful space, with a great host!

We had a WONDERFUL stay at Marta’s beautiful rental in the San Marco area. Marta greeted us at the property and gave us a tour of the beautiful property. There were 2 lovely terraces with the property. Unfortunately, our stay was 3 rainy days so we did not take advantage of the terraces. It would be a charming spot for a glass of wine at the end of a day touring Venice or a coffee in the morning. Marta was very helpful with sightseeing to see and recommended some great restaurants off the beaten path. Don’t hesitate to book this beautiful apartment!

What an amazing place! Marta went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect, from providing accurate directions to/from the apartment, excellent suggestions for dining out and can't miss experiences. The apartment is cozy, comfortable, very clean and quiet for being in the heart of San Marco!

The apartment was beautiful and looked exactly like the photos but even better! The mix of modern amenities and a more traditional Venetian aesthetic was exactly what we were hoping for. Comfortable beds, soft bedding and a welcoming and warm space. The location was ideal and Marta was easy to communicate with and provided a lot of information about the area. Her list of recommended restaurants was perfect! Would love to stay here again on our next trip to Venice.

Captures the magic of Venice

This property was perfect for my family, 2 adults and 2 kids. Decor really well done, comfy beds, everything we needed was there for a 4 night stay. Neighborhood was perfect, just out of the crowds but still near some top spots. We had a fabulous time, the kids did not want to leave.

Beautifully and tastefully decorated - made our stay a very pleasant experience. Terraces are wonderful so peaceful it’s hard to believe location is city centre. And a great location it is - walking distance to everything. Well supplied and attention to detail very good. We loved our time there.

The Vibe:True to my preference for staying "off the beaten path," this spot on Fondamenta Corner Zaguri felt like a hidden gem. It provided a quiet, authentic Venetian escape for my family, tucked away from the heavy tourist flow but still right in the heart of San Marco.The Highlights:• The Terraces: A rare luxury in Venice. Having two private outdoor spaces was the perfect setup for a morning coffee or a glass of wine after a long day of exploring.• Family Space: After the logistics of a multi-city European trek, having this much room for the family to spread out was a massive win. It felt like a home, not just a rental.• Prime Location: It made hitting the local spots easy. Being near the Accademia meant we could navigate the city efficiently while maintaining that neighborhood feel I look for.The Verdict:Spacious and authentic. If you want a high-end, local experience in Venice that doesn't feel like a tourist trap, this is it.

Cool and Quiet Hideaway in Venice for

Our family of 4 adults had a lovely stay for 3 nights. Marta was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. The flat was adorable with good air conditioning and hot showers. The location was very quiet but an easy walk to the sites of Venice. Do know that it is a 3rd floor walk up with narrow stairs. Plan your luggage accordingly!

Super charming and convenient

We loved our place and were able to walk to all the highlights of Venice within 5-10 minutes, many cute shops and restaurants close by. It was nicely decorated. We were two couples and loved both the living area and the terrace. The only negative was the two flights of stairs with luggage.

Wonderful apartment with quiet terrace and great location

Perfect central location - 5 minute walk to Accademia and 8 minutes to San Marco. Private terrace with awning is great for morning espresso and evening wine. Very quiet area near small gelato /pastry shop, restaurants and designer stores. Steep stairs but totally worth the climb!

Perfect location and lovely experience.

This apartment is so perfectly located in Venice in a private and completely quiet courtyard - yet near shops and restaurants. Marta was excellent at communicating with us before our arrival and was kind enough to meet us at the boat taxi stop to ensure we didn’t get lost. The photos do not show how clean and lovely it’s decorated…and the kitchen is not so small but brand new. The patio was a nice addition, although we spent so much time wandering the city we rarely used it. The only suggestion is to offer more linens when a guest is staying for many nights. Thanks to Marta and Bridi for a great experience.
