Had such a wonderful time at the cabin! It was the perfect spot for some great family time—peaceful, remote, and surrounded by nature. We absolutely loved the lake, especially spending our days canoeing and kayaking. Such a relaxing and memorable getaway. Can’t wait to go back!

The cabin was perfect for our family of 10 to celebrate Christmas. Everything about it was wonderful!! The kitchen, the decor, the view and communication with our host! We loved having coffee on the porch every morning and sitting by the fire on the screened porch every evening! We all decided this cabin was a "keeper" and we hope to return one day! Thank you Craig and Andrea for sharing your home with us!

Amazing Stay!

This was truly an amazing Thanksgiving away. The cabin was great! It clean and very accommodating for a family of 12. Pictures simply cannot capture how beautiful the view was. The owners were great and very responsive with any questions we had. My family and I had an amazing time and will definitely return.

This home is gorgeous with breathtaking views of the lake.

Beautiful home and location. Very spacious for our large extended family. The porches are comfortable and inviting. The dock was very stable and secure. We enjoyed the paddle boarding and canoeing. Our favorite spot on this lovely lake.

Quiet cove

Echo cabin was exactly as described. Fantastic lake views!! Fully stocked, great layout and easy lake access!! Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed soaking up the view from the many porches, hot tub and the dock. Owners were very quick to respond to questions. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Lake Front Cabin in the Mountains

Wonderful cabin! Plenty of room and great porches and decks to gather together and enjoy the wonderful views. Everything was immaculate and well appointed. You are definitely staying in the mountains when vacationing here, but that is exactly what we wanted. Thanks for the hospitality. We were impressed and will be back!

Great Waterfront Escape

This house was the perfect location with just the right amount of activities for multiple families. Both kids and adults enjoyed the wide assortment of games, hot tub, kayaking and boating on the lake, to relaxing around the beautiful outside sitting areas. It was extremely peaceful listening to the babbling brook at night while sitting around the campfire. We would definitely recommend this property with many hopes to stay here again!

Beautiful place, wonderful view, well equipped!!

We loved this place, beautiful! During the rainy season I’d recommend a heavy car or 4 wheel drive, the mountain is steep going up to get out. Also stock up on groceries an beverages the county is dry, grocery is a little far. Orher than that, it was amazing!!!

Christmas 2020 in the mountains

Our stay was absolutely amazing, the newly built cabin had everything our family needed for our stay. The view was absolutely amazing on the lake, and there were plenty of room for the entire family. We had a beautiful white Christmas this year, waking up looking across the lake with the snow lying on the hills was almost like living in a postcard, absolutely beautiful. My family and I would definitely love to come back in the summer.

Lake Vacation

Our entire group enjoyed very much being on the water. We rented a boat and spent much time enjoying being out on the water. Our group enjoyed the porch (especially Grandma and Grandpa). We had a great week. The property is very rural and do not want to talk about the driveway!

2921 Retirement Vacation Week

Great way to celebrate my husbands retirement. Echo Lodge did not disappoint. Spacious enough for our entire family and the screened in porch with fireplace and TV was so relaxing each night. We would bring a 4 wheel drive next time. Getting into the cabin can be a little tricky but it was so worth it!!

Amazing Family Vacation

What a great stay! This house is beautiful, perfectly private, and packed with activities to do (inside the lodge and out). Our group of ten people ranged in ages from 1 to 75 and there was something for everyone! Our days were spent swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, playing cards/games, and enjoying meals together. We found the lodge very clean. I was impressed with how well stocked it was with essentials (not all are like that) and the "extras" which made our stay even more enjoyable (two baby gates which were a Godsend with the 1yo). Craig was very responsive and helpful. We cant wait to visit again.

Family Trip

We spent a week at this wonderful house. There were 10 of us from 9 - 77 years. There was plenty of space for everybody and the location was beautiful. We rented a boat from the local marina and enjoyed every day on the lake. Craig was incredibly helpful with an issue we had with our car and his head of maintenance, Mikey, went above and beyond.

My wife, 3 children and I currently reside just outside of Athens, GA, but our happy place is Lake Nantahala. We love hiking the nearby Appalachian Trail, boating on the lake, whitewater rafting the nearby Nantahala River and soaking in the hot tub after a long day of fun and adventure. Introducing Lake Nantahala to our guests is very rewarding!

Lake Nantahala is one of the best kept secrets in the Smokies. I've been coming to the area since I was 8yrs old and I'm still wonderstruck by the beauty, serenity and untarnished nature that surrounds the Nantahala National Forest.
