Chuck's Base Camp - Your Luxurious Alaskan Getaway

Welcome to Chuck's Base Camp, your Anchorage sanctuary! Enjoy modern comforts in our 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath retreat. Admire panoramic mountain views of the Chugach Mountains from the elevated back deck, and relish nightly sunsets from the kitchen that also has a deck. This guest home is a generous sized duplex occupying the entire top floor, with plenty of room for a family but also cozy enough for a couples trip.

The Space:
- Bedroom #1: Master bedroom with a queen sized bed. Comfy reading nook with chair. Beautiful views of the Susitna Mountains. En-suite bathroom with a spacious walk-in closet with custom built ins.
- Bedroom #2: Guest room with two twin sized beds and an ample closet.
- Bedroom #3: Guest room with a queen sized bed. Large closet with custom built ins. A cozy reading nook overlooking the Chugach Mountains.
- Full hall bathroom with pocket door that divides shower/toilet area from the large vanity/sink area allowing multiple guest to use the washroom.
- Modern and luxurious half-bath with beautiful vessel sink located right off living room & kitchen.

The Entrance:
We use the Nest system for our locks. Each guest will be provided a unique 4 digit code to enter the front door before check-in. There are steps up to the front door and an additional set of steps from the landing up to the main floor. *Please be cautious on these steps and utilize the hand rails.*

Other things to note:
Chuck's Base Camp is a 2 story house. The guest house (your private space) is the entire second story. The first floor of our home is a private garage and a 1 bed, 1 bath apartment that is rented month to month by occupants that we screen very carefully. The tenants have no connection to the upstairs rental. Please be respectful of one another. There are no shared spaces, each floor is separate and not accessible to the other.

Security:
Please be aware that we utilize Nest security cameras that monitor and record *outdoor only* areas for the safety of our guests and our property. These cameras monitor and record all points of entry for security & safety of our guest. Including a very small portion of the backyard where there is a door, the driveway, the front door steps, and both sides of the house. There are absolutely no indoor recording devices, no camera coverage of second story decks, or outside spaces where privacy is expected.
