Our stay at Las Olas in March 2026 raised serious safety concerns.During our trip, our parking pass was stolen from our vehicle. A man later showed that pass to the security guard and claimed he was a “friend” visiting us. Despite the complex stating that visitors must show identification and register at the gate, the guard allowed him into the property without verifying with us or checking any ID.The individual then went to our condo, where we later discovered the door lock was malfunctioning and only locked intermittently. Because of these security failures, our unit was burglarized and more than 7,000 worth of personal belongings were stolen.The suspect was clearly visible on security cameras and the location of stolen devices could be tracked, yet little action was taken. Property management sent me to the police station with a bilingual lawyer to refile a report, which took over six hours, but after that there was no further help.The condo owners and managers stopped responding to calls, texts, and emails and offered no assistance or compensation. Because we no longer felt safe, we left and had to find another place to stay.If safety and accountability matter to you, I would strongly reconsider staying here.
