Wunderschönes Blockhaus am ruhigen Bass Lake

Das Paradise Pines Cabin befindet sich am malerischen Bass Lake, nur wenige Minuten vom Interlochen Arts Center & Traverse City entfernt. Die Hütte befindet sich auf einem Hektar großen, baumbestandenen Grundstück direkt am See. Die Hütte bietet einen majestätischen Blick auf den See. Das Wohnzimmer, der Essbereich und der Wintergarten im Erdgeschoss führen auf eine große Außenterrasse mit Blick auf den See. Ebenfalls im Erdgeschoss befindet sich eine große Küche, die komplett mit Glaswaren, Geschirr und Haushaltsgeräten ausgestattet ist, eine Waschküche mit Waschmaschine und Trockner in voller Größe, ein Bad mit Badewanne / Dusche und das Hauptschlafzimmer mit einem Kingsize-Bett und einem großen Fußweg -in Schrank. Im Obergeschoss finden Sie ein zweites Schlafzimmer mit einem Queensize-Bett, ein Badezimmer mit Badewanne / Dusche und einen großen Loft-Bereich / TV-Raum mit einem Twin-Daybed / Trundle und einem Queensize-Schlafsofa. Das Haus verfügt über 4 Fernseher, 2 DVD-Player und WLAN im gesamten Gebäude. Der schöne Hinterhof verfügt über eine große Rasenfläche, die zu einem Sandstrand und einem Bootsanleger führt.

Der 100 Hektar große See ist im Sommer ideal zum Schwimmen, Bootfahren, Angeln, Skifahren und Schläuchen. Wir haben ein Aluminium-Fischerboot mit einem kleinen Motor und 2 Kajaks. Die Gegend bietet über 20 Golfplätze und viele schöne Wanderwege zum Radfahren und Wandern. Zu den Aktivitäten im Winter zählen Eisfischen, Eislaufen, Schneemobilfahren und Langlaufen. Skifahren und Snowboarden im Crystal Mountain Ski Resort ist nur 25 km entfernt und bietet 52 präparierte Pisten.

Es gibt jede Menge wundervolle Orte zu sehen und Dinge in der Nähe zu tun; Der Betsie River, der Michigansee, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Sutton's Bay, Leelands historische Fischstadt, Grand Traverse Bay und zahlreiche Weingüter, Mikrobrauereien, preisgekrönte Restaurants, Konzertsäle und das Leelanau Sands Casino befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe des Bass Lake.

Great location, beautiful property. AC was big on a week hitting the 90s. Meticulously clean. Kitchen fully stocked. Great toys and accessories in garage and a book with all info on location and area at hand. Well planned by owners made for a great family week for our crew of 5!

Got married!!

Easy to work with, very nice property with excellent views, property has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Washer and dryer on site was huge when staying for a week. Would definitely stay again!! Also…. Got married while we stayed, so it turned into a nice honeymoon site!!!

Beautiful, secluded, quiet cabin on a lake

Cabin is even prettier than pictured. Furniture is comfortable and well maintained. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. Washer and dryer are new and large capacity. Loved the sunroom for morning coffee and devotions. The separation of bedrooms and bathrooms on the upper and lower floors was perfect for 2 couples, allowing privacy for all. Kitchen also has lots of staples (in cabinets and fridge) on hand, so no need to buy oils, baking supplies, condiments. Linens are of good quality. The outdoor space on the lake was beautiful and peaceful. Large lot provides privacy. Didn’t use the boat, as water level in lake was low. Had a couple of questions and tried to reach local property manager, but received no response. However, the owners (who were out of the country at the time) replied promptly. Location seems remote, but cabin is with 30-45 min drive to Traverse City, Fish Town, and other scenic drives. Would definitely return.

All that's promised and more

This property is by far the best VRBO in which we've stayed. Reasonably priced, it is very upscale (especially for a lake getaway home) and features many decorator details and comforts of home. Bathrooms and kitchen have all the equipment and supplies everyone needs. There is outdoor stuff galore; we should have stayed longer because we couldn't get to it all! Comfy beds, well-supplued

UNFORGETTABLE

We stayed for a month at this beautiful cottage, and it was everything we hoped for and more. Molly is an amazing host. She does everything to make it an enjoyable experience from easy check in, to stocking the kitchen and house with necessities and more. Interlochen was the perfect central location, Bass Lake was peaceful and scenic and the cottage was charming. The only problem was that our vacation had to end. We can’t wait to return!!

Beautiful Interlochen House on Bass Lake

This home was beautiful and a fun vacation for all ages. The children enjoyed the beach, paddleboat, swings, and toys that were available for them to use. Molly, our hostess, was a great communicator and the house had everything you need to enjoy a family vacation incl. a very nice kitchen with all the pots/pans/dishes and utensils. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful, peaceful retreat

Gorgeous, comfortable home with absolutely killer view...you couldn't ask for better. We didn't turn the t.v. on all week! So relaxing and clean and plenty to do within a short distance. Owners very accommodating and house is well appointed with anything you might need.

Paradise Perfection!

I am not sure I have adequate words to describe our stay! Molly was so easy to communicate with an answered all of my questions very quickly! The check in process is flawless. The home….it’s beyond beautiful! It is exhilarating! The details in the decorating are amazing. The lake is quiet and beautiful! The kids had fun swimming and fishing from the dock. We got lots of sun! I watered the plants as if they were my own. It was so nice to have a space big enough for our family of 5….I don’t stay in hotels anymore as 1 bathroom is never enough for us! We couldn’t have been happier! Thank you Mike and Molly!

We have stayed in a number of different properties and this one, by far was the most well appointed property. They thought of all possible scenarios and provided for it. Whether out on the water or in the kitchen, simply the best! We have already booked for next year!

We had so much fun at Molly’s place. The backyard and lake are beautiful. We enjoyed the fire pit and kayaks almost daily. Her house was fully stocked with everything we needed. I hope one day we can come back.

Another excellent stay

We love this location and working with Molly is effortless. The house is fully stocked with anything you could need. My kids loved playing on the beach, in the water and with all the toys in the garage. This is our third time renting the property and would definitely return again!

Paradise in Interlochen

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home and will be back. Bass Lake, a quiet and peaceful lake, is filled with fish. My husband spent time fishing every day during our stay. He always seemed to have a fish on the line. Lots of bass, sunfish and crappies right off the dock. Wow, it’s a breath taking view when you enter the home. There are huge sweeping windows overlooking the lake. You instantly feel calm and relaxed. The house is well stocked, with a higher end grill and comfortable furniture. Every need was met. Molly had thought of everything. My daughters and I took the kayakes for a spin on several days. Loved it. There were beautiful outdoor spaces to grab a glass of wine and just sit in the evening. Perfect. Remember mosquito repellent. It’s Northern Michigan and mosquitos are bothersome, so not unexpected or a problem. We were there for an Interlochen School event and the house is exactly 7 minutes and two turn away. The roads between the house and Interlochen are quiet. Never a problem to run over to catch a performance. Before the stay, our family experienced an unforeseeable event and Molly was kind, understandingand caring. Thank you!

My husband and I split our time between our home in Dallas, TX and Bass Lake. We were both born in the midwest with summer ties to Northern Michigan. We have six grown children and 9 precious grandchildren!

We fell in love with this home while visiting family Up North in 2014. It is a quaint cottage with tons of character. It sits on a small lake boasting beautiful views. Nature abounds with great fishing, varied bird watching and singing frogs!!! You'll love this serene setting. There is a fire pit and patio by the lake. You will also enjoy our deck across the back of the house with a dining table and comfy furniture.
