Jason you are a great guest to have. I really appreciate having folks like you as my guest and always look forward to having you come back. There's more snow in the future coimg.. I believe we will be doing 4th a July skiing. Thar is so cool to do, even if it is not in July but may and June. Ski in the morning, mountain bike in the after noon, golf 9 holes in the late afternoon or change it around with horseback riding, hiking, tennis, fishing or water-skiing. If you haven't fine that it's a fun day. And bragging rights with friends. Look forward to hearing from you when returning to mammoth. Again thank you.

This guest did not bring any thing to my attention when I checked in with them to see if everything was ok, there response was great. But then came the storm and the mountain was shut down for two days. They then left the unit, without any communication with me, but then they came back and made up things like the unit was not advertised correctly with pictures, (yet it is all outlined on the site and in the agreement), and they wanted their money back. VRBO reviewed the information and denied them, Therefore they write a unfavorable review. I would not rent to them again.

Thanks Jeff for staying with us. Our write up for the unit explains the loft area out into three bedrooms. As well as the pictures shows the loft lay out. We did expand the stairs as far as we could. We tried to put a bath up sayings last year when we did alot of remodeling. We ran out of time. We're planning to do a couple a upgrades this fall. Which would include the bath upstairs and we have an idea for the stairs. Thank you for staying with us.

Thank you Maureen, I often get email questions like how far are you from the village or gondola...even thou our heading outlines approximately 100 walking feet from the Village Gondola, hearing if from someone else helps assures the exact location. We have since taking up fans for the units. We have never had a request for them. We are trying to locate a contactor that can do the stairs during the fall. Very difficult to find. Everyone is busy until 2021. There are very few places that have AC, usually the summers are mild. We look forward to you returning. Thank you for the input.

We have plans this fall to put a bathroom in up stairs and redsign the stairs so they are wider, but your right this is not a handicap unit as it does have the stairs. We have had several families with children enjoy the unit and some have already re booked. The unit down stairs that sleeps four, is handicap friendly and it has two baths (Jack and Jill). It always amazes me when there are damages incurred by a tenant, and we are getting the estimate to correct the problem, the first thing they do is write a negative review. In this case I was waiting for the pictures to determine the damages. Not sure what was not received professionally. When I received the correspondence that indicated there where damages, I immediately sent them a email and told them I was waiting for more pictures, this was less than 24 hours after they vacated the unit and that the company that does the repairs was in Bishop and they only come up to Mammoth when they have more than one client to see. Being remote is nice for a vacation but has its limits unlike a big city where you can get things done in a timely manner.

You did tell me the jacuzzi and pool was not available until you left , and you make it sound like the place is trash, which you know it is not. The agreement and on line where booked outlines the lay out of the unit where it states the rooms are in a loft area and the bath is on the main floor. The pool room was closed one day before you arrived,, due the continuous snow fall that cause 100s of properties in mammoth to have structural damage , our included. The door fell off and we did get a handyman in to repair it. Why it fell thats an unknown. The smokes/co detectors are to code. In fact we don't need as many as we have put up because the only carbon fuel is the fireplace, which is in a close unit. The condo is not dated, does your unit have quartz counters, brand new appliances, new carpet, fresh paint and many other updates? I'm not sure why you are so angry, none of this came up while you where there, except the door. It appears you were on a which hunt to counter the great reviews from folks that have enjoyed themselves and will and have come back. You suggested you should get some consideration for not having the pool building open, rather than understanding what mammoth has gone through with a record fall if snow, you want money, that's why I said you need to reference back to your agreement, the owner is not responsible if the pool has to close for repairs or in this case an emergency from mother nature. I was not aware it had to be closed. Good news is you had the best snow Mammoth has seen in years and lots of it. It's always important to read about any unit your going booked so you know what your renting. Our unit is under priced for the village and is enjoyed many guest. We put it down in price so all can enjoy the village.

Thank you for staying with us Mike. We moved out the stairs as far as the stair well would allow us to do. We did this last year . I would love to move it out further, but the confines does not allow. We are setting up vendors to put a bath shower up stairs and do a few other upgrades this year. Pleased you enjoyed the unit.
