The place was as advertised.. However the furniture in sitting area was uncomfortable. We needed to empty the dehumidifier several times during the day. Gwen was most gracious .

We enjoyed our stay in Gwen's Key West apartment. It was exactly what we were looking for in Mystic. The apartment is clean and even though Gwen lives in Key West the tenant upstairs is Gwen's cohost. We had one concern on the day we checked in and Gwen and Sarah worked together to promptly address it for us. We appreciated the family history that Gwen provided, especially the paintings from her mom and the artifacts of her father's Navy service. I enjoyed the access to the property out back and the trails behind the house. You can connect to an extensive hiking trail in the nature preserve that passes through the entirety of Groton, mainly in the woods. I would recommend Gwen's place.

Perfect place for a small family

This place was fantastic for our small family of 3. The location is perfect for enjoying Mystic, and the yard was amazing for us and our little daughter.

Excellent stay and wonderful vibes

This was an amazing place to stay and Gwen was very responsive both before and during our stay. The tips and recommendations that were given were extremely helpful. We very much enjoyed the eclectic decor and the “home on vacation” feel. We would absolutely stay here again.

It’s not clear if “funky” was meant in a positive or negative way, as it’s definitely often used by our guests to describe the colorful décor in several past 5-star reviews :). Lovely stay in Mystic

We had a wonderful stay at Gwen’s place. It is situated in a beautiful, quiet neighbourhood and is within walking distance of downtown Mystic. It had everything we needed and more. Highly recommended! Gwen is so friendly and gave us local recommendations too.

The property was very clean, had all the essential amenities we needed for a three day trip, and my four year old was obsessed with the decor. The neighborhood was quiet and had sidewalks for us to take nice evening strolls. We were within walking or driving distance to everywhere we wanted to do, no more than 10 minutes from everything we needed. We had a great stay and would definitely come back in the future!

This was enough to meet our needs for the amount of time we spent there. Was disappointed in quality of available cookware and lack of attention to cleaning in certain areas.

A gem

We had a great stay. The fire pit was awesome. We had a little problem with outlets in the kitchen, but Sarah upstairs helped us to get them working. Gwen was available by text through the whole process. Would definitely stay there again. Comfortable, quiet and funky.

Anniversary night in mystic

Overall this property was very cute and cozy! It was accurately described in the listing. Minor issue with the garage door entrance but it was addressed quickly and didn’t affect our stay. Tenant upstairs was helpful and polite and we still had our privacy. I would stay here again :)

Gwen is a great host

Gwen went above and beyond for a last minute booking. Property was great for my wife and 7 year old daughter. Great communication. Highly recommend for a trip to mystic. Fire pit in the back yard was a great bonus for s’mores with my daughter.

Great spot for a quick stay on our journey

We stayed here for two nights on our road trip from Florida to Maine. It was a very nice and convenient location. We were able to spend our day at the aquarium and around Mystic, which is all very close to the apartment. Gwen was great and was there to let us in when we arrived (she was staying upstairs). She would check in to make sure we had everything we needed (which we did, the place was well stocked). Thanks for making our last stop a great one!
