Kurze 1 Meile zu Fuß zum nächsten Strand (Dünenstrand). Komplett eingerichtetes Cottage im New England-Stil. Wohnzimmer mit 1 großen Couch und einem Stuhl. In der Küche sitzen 4 bequem essen. Tisch im Freien bietet Platz für 6 bequem. Zusätzlicher Klapptisch und 4 zusätzliche Klappstühle vorhanden. Schlafzimmer 1 hat ein französisches Bett, Schlafzimmer 2 hat ein Etagenbett. Eine Queensize-Luftmatratze ist vorhanden. Das Haus hat 3 Fensterklimaanlagen und für die Heizung Dampfstrahler. Bettwäsche, Bettdecken, Kissen und Handtücher werden gestellt. 1 Badezimmer mit Dusche. Große Waschmaschine und Trockner, 50-Zoll-HDTV-Flachbildschirm mit lokalen Fernsehsendern und Apple TV, Verizon FIOS 100-Mbit / s-Internet, große Mikrowelle, Herd in voller Größe, Kühlschrank in voller Größe, 12-Tassen-Kaffeemaschine. Cute place great location, could use some TLC, paint chipping etc. the t.v. wasn’t working but we were able to get it to. Coffee maker had old grinds with mold in it. Plenty of dishes and other kitchen supplies. Would stay again.

Check in/out was super easy. Close to the beach in a very quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the quiet mornings on the front porch and quiet evenings in the backyard with a fire. Was enough space for my small family and small dogs. Beds were comfy and convenient to have a washer and dryer in the house. This will be our new yearly vacation spot!

Comfortable and convenient

We planned a last-minute trip and needed a reasonably-priced stay. This home had what we needed to be close to our family living in the area. We spent most of our time at our relatives, visiting and eating meals; however, this home worked out for our family of 6, traveling with our dog.

Always a wonderful stay one of the best properties and hosts ever

I always enjoy my stay here with my dog. This is truly one of the best hosts here and one of the best properties along with their other ones. It’s a great neighborhood and area right by the beach. The house is delightful every time I stay there there is something new they are always updating and making sure it is immaculately cleaned. Comfortable and well-maintained. The Wi-Fi is super fast for my work. I’m already looking forward to coming back again soon.

Cozy beach cottage

Cute little cottage on great property. It is an older home but had everything we needed. The mattresses were comfy, though a shorter box spring under the queen bed would help; that bed was tall! The wifi extender worked great. Plenty of linens available. The fire pit was nice. There wasn't any firewood left, but that wasn't a big deal.

Nice Location but dusty

This property is nicely located, quiet and has a convenient layout. It could use some renovation and a thorough cleaning. There was a foul smell, maybe a skunk, in the main bedroom. The owner, who was very responsive, provided an air purifier which helped a little but the smell lingered for several days. We left a day early.

So nice I booked it twice

So cute this house but yet so comfortable and surprisingly big inside I ended up booking it for two weeks instead of one. This is one of my very favorite rentals along with the other house owned by the host on this property which is in such a terrific area right by the beach and a beautiful nature preserve. This is our house also has a wonderful backyard really big which my dog and I enjoyed a lot. The house is so comfortable and stocked with everything you need. I’m sure I’ll be back here again soon.

Listing is deceiving, and property needs a deep clean.

The pictures are outdated/misleading/false. You are paying for the location and beach pass, thats it. If the advertisement said “rustic cottage, just like camping,” that would be more accurate. Imbummed I wasted my families annual vacation here. The house is in serious need of a deep clean; lots of dust and dirt in all the corners. My daughter’s feet turned black from walking around with no socks on. Im not sure where the cleaning fee goes. Very buggy, lots of dead bugs in the light fixtures, corners, windowsills, etc. The living room couches smell so musty and gross but you cant open any of the windows (except the bathroom since the fan doesnt work) because there is foam pieces and duct tape covering up the holes in the window frames. Many of the windows dont have curtains or shades, because they are broken off. Lots of broken items; hammock rolled in a dirty ball in the basement, headboard broken with super sharp edge, Grill was filthy (didnt make our steaktips). Chairs by firepit were filthy and unusable. Grass could have been mowed and partner found two ticks on him, but that is just RI I guess. Mouse poop in cabinet that I had to clean out. Battery hanging out of fire alarm.chicken coop next door is overgrown with no chickens and I believe a skunk is living there and we heard it screaming at night. We had to keep dog/child away. Neighboring house by same owner goes for similar price and seems to be much nicer.

Great location, needs updating

I’m not sure if we’d stay in this rental again. The location is great, only a mile from the beach and we were able to walk there and back easily. But given the price, I didn’t feel the property met the standards I’m used to at other rentals listed for similar rates. When we first entered, I was pretty disappointed. It had a strong musty odor, and I noticed many run down or dilapidated elements. It’s too bad it had an air of neglect. We actually thought about trying to find a hotel nearby instead, but we stuck it out. There were several dead cockroaches on the floor which freaked me out and the coffee pot didn’t work. Definitely needs a paint job and new windows and cabinets. The bathroom is tiny and would be difficult to share with more than 2 people. The bedsheets were very worn out. But if you can look past these things, it’s really not a bad place. Can’t say I would give it a 5 star rating, but if the price came down we would rent again just for the location alone. I think with some updates and TLC, this could be a really sweet little place. As the week went on the odor dissipated. The hammock was really lovely and the little table on the front porch was nice to sit at in the mornings.

We did not need the laundry, but new appliances were in the basement available for use. It is a fairly secluded location, with 2 bedrooms (one with bunk beds), living room , full bath with shower only, kitchen and small eating area for 4. There is a front deck with seating for 4 with table, and an outdoor firepit. Walmart superstore within a mile that has eveything you may forget to bring! :)

Pet friendly, good location but not sure where the ocean view is that's listed in the description. Bathroom is tiny. The bed was comfortable however it would be difficult for any one on the petite side to get in as it sits extremely high. Probably a,10" mattress on top of a 10" box spring on a raised bed (probably could just use the mattress) No paper towels. If you use towels the property owner wants you to wash them. Washer and dryer are in the basement and there are no handrails on basement steps. A major liability issue if someone would take a tumble. The location was great and close to many things.and for the price it wasn't bad. However on that note i would recommend making some improvements such as new windows (old & dirty) and replacing worn out torn sofa with a sofa bed. If those improvements were made I would be willing to pay more and return again.
