Welcome to Family Tides, a beautiful beach vacation home featuring spacious living areas, 2 large furnished screened porches, beachy dĂ©cor, sleeping for 12, extra large community swimming pool, and a short walk to St. George Islandâs award-winning beaches. This home is dog-friendly, so bring the whole family!
Located in Resort Village, a small community of homes just 1 mile inside the St. George Plantation gate. Just a few steps out the door lies the largest swimming pool on the island with an Olympic sized 50-meter lap-lane, abundant swimming areas for older kiddos and adults, plus separate shallow pool for the "kiddies". This elegantly shaped pool is surrounded by lush tropical landscaping complete with tables, large shade umbrellas, and lounge chairs, so all you have to bring are family, friends, and snacks!
Guests also have access to all other Plantation community amenities, including tennis courts, pickle-ball courts, fitness center, beach boardwalks, and Bob Sikes Cut. There are 11 miles of paved multi-use pathways spanning the island. There is a myriad of nature trails woven throughout the community - a true wonderland paradise.
Across the bridge, Eastpointâs craft brewery and seafood markets offer local flavors. Then just another 10 minutes from Eastpoint, youâll find Apalachicolaâs historic district (world famous for oysters & seafood) featuring trendy shops, culinary delights, arts, seasonal scenic air boat rides, entertainment, and more.
The exterior of this home offers under-house concrete parking for 2, uncovered space for up to 4 more cars, and 2 covered entry doors. There is an elevator for guest-use that will help you easily carry up all your goodies! There is an outside fish cleaning table to clean your fresh catch along with a park-style charcoal grill, as well as an outdoor enclosed shower to rinse-off after your day of fun in the sun. The laundry room with washer/dryer is located on the ground level. There is a complimentary dog-kennel provided for occasions when your pup needs a place to stay while youâre away.
The first level boasts 3 living spaces and 2 dining tables in a loft style, split-level floorplan. The upper living room offers a flat screen smart TV and stereo/radio, DVD/CD player with speakers on the first & second levels plus both screened porches. A split-level half-flight staircase leads down to 2 additional open living spaces, which includes 2 queen sleeper sofas, along with their love-seats, and access to covered screened porch with a table for 8. The well-appointed kitchen with stainless appliances and granite counters is perfect for preparing meals! The high-top dining table seats 8, is sure to be a favorite gathering spot for meals, puzzles, and games. An additional 4-seat multi-use gaming and eating table located next to the living room, flows nicely to the open kitchen/dining area.
Sleeping accommodations start on the second level. The first is the king bedroom with ensuite bath, smart TV, plus direct access to the covered screened porch with pool view. The second is the queen bedroom with smart TV and ensuite bath. The third bedroom offers a queen bed with smart TV and access to the covered screened porch with pool view. The fourth bedroom has 2 twin beds and smart TV. A shared full bathroom is located between bedrooms 3 & 4.
