A centrally located, modern townhome in Carlsbad Village, west of I-5 & walking distance to it all: beaches, lagoons, restaurants, parks, stores, train station. The private end unit towers 3 stories, & includes a light & airy high vaulted ceiling 3rd floor, cozy living room w/peak-a-boo oceanview, gas fireplace, full kitchen w/butcherblock counters & beachy blue tile, 2 attached balconies, & attached garage w/ fast EV charger. Also, a spacious hot tub & grassy space for your use.
The space
A centrally located cozy updated modern townhome (end unit) in Carlsbad Village, is tucked away in a peaceful corner, yet walking distance to the beach, the Village, and more!
Availability: 30+ days only please (City of Carlsbad and HOA Regulations).
3RD FLOOR: Relax in an elevated light and airy living room, with high vaulted ceilings, brand new Roku 55-inch TV, a gas fireplace, a peak-a-boo view of the Pacific Ocean, palm trees, beachy colorful sunsets, and a village view, from the living room which includes a bonus full size pull-out sofa for additional guests. The 3rd floor also features a light ocean blue glass tile kitchen backsplash with a deep, stainless steel farmhouse style sink, dish washer, gas oven, Zephyr hood vent (quiet DC motor), and is stocked with pots, pans, dishes etc. A surf-themed kids bedroom with a full-size and twin bunk bed, 1/2 bathroom, and attached balcony with a George Forman electric grill is also on the 3rd floor.
2ND FLOOR: There are two comfy bedrooms with queen size beds, each with a attached bathroom (one shower in the blue room and one soak-in tub/shower combo in the modern bohemian room), a balcony w/pet door (cat or small dog), and a conveniently located washer and dryer closet for all your laundry needs (laundry closet also contains a brand new, on demand tankless hot water heater and high efficiency, heating system with a Nest thermostat for cooler days)
1ST FLOOR: welcoming entry room, sunny boho theme bonus, 4th bedroom with a full-size bed, and attached private 2-car garage w/Tesla universal EV charger (and all your beach day essentials).
MORE ABOUT THE HOME: You’ll find high end quality features such as durable, continuous luxury vinyl plank flooring, modern and ultra quiet DC motor light/fan fixtures, food grade finished butcher block countertops and dining table, Kohler plumbing fixtures throughout, sound abating double pane windows, safe/ durable, modern aluminum/ cable stair railing, with tranquil smoothly textured light gray and white paint with beachy art decor throughout the house. For your upmost convenience and safety, the unit also features smart home devices including, for your safety, a yale front door lock, ring door bell (front door) and ring camera (garage), Nest thermostat, quiet garage door opener with a back-up battery. Small, well-behaved potty trained pets that do not exceed 20 lbs. total may be considered (please provide details). Pet fee may apply. This is a dog friendly community and you will most likely meet a few neighbor dogs during your stay.
Walking distance to Olde Carlsbad Village and the beach.
Also walking distance to the Carlsbad Village Train station which links locally (Coaster) to down town Oceanside, down town Encinitas,
Solano Beach, Old town, and down town San Diego. For longer day trips the Amtrak Pacific Coastline heads north to Orange County, LA Union Station, down Town Ventura, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo.
Driving distances to nearby, popular attractions (approx.):
7 min/ 5 miles to Legoland.
15 min to downtown Encinitas and downtown Oceanside.
35 min/30 miles to San Diego Wildlife Park and San Pasqual Wineries.
1.5 hour/80 miles to Anza Borrego or the Mountain town of Julian.
30-40 min to downtown San Diego, Seaport Village, San Diego Zoo/other Balboa Park museums, SeaWorld, Belmont Boardwalk, and Old Town.
45 min to the Mexican Boarder crossing.

The whole unit is included and accessed via a smart, keypad Yale door lock and garage door keypad. Also, a spacious hot tub and two grassy side yards available are available for your use in the common area.

EV CHARGER (PRIVATE, IN GARAGE): Level 2 universal Tesla EV charger available (J1772 connector); very fast 48amp w/ charging speed of 11.5kW; 24-ft cord. Gas & Electric up to $300/ month covered (additional paid by tenant). Best electrical rates available if you set your EV to charge from Midnight to 6am (Super off-peak hours).
PETS: Please reach out to discuss well behaved small pet requests, not to exceed 20 lbs total (we are animal lovers and know some tend to travel as part of the family too).
BEACH GEAR /BIKES: please reach out to request beach hear, bikes, etc. that you may want for your stay (we provide a soft-top surfboard, beach umbrella, mexican blanket, and beach toys for your use at arrival).
OTHER: Please reach out for any special guest, specific requests, and special accommodations. Please request highchairs, pack-n-play, baby gate, baby sitter recs., etc. before your arrival if necessary. I would love to help accommodate all guest types of needs so that everyone is comfy.
