Gut: Sauberkeit, Check-in und Lage
Overall, we had a great stay and really enjoyed the property. The location was excellent—just a short and very manageable walk to the beach, even with two young kids. We also really appreciated that the property was dog-friendly and felt that they did a good job accommodating pets. Check-in was very easy, and the home had almost everything we needed.Our biggest frustration was the communication about the beach equipment. Before our stay, I specifically asked whether beach chairs, umbrellas, and a wagon were provided. I was told to refer to the listing, which only showed a couple of beach items, so we ended up reserving and paying to rent chairs and umbrellas. When we arrived, we discovered that the property actually did have chairs, umbrellas, and a wagon available. It would have been very helpful if that had been clearly communicated, especially since I had specifically asked. We also initially could not access the storage area where the chairs and wagon were kept, which made getting two kids and all of our beach gear back and forth to the beach much more difficult than it needed to be.We also had no hot water when we arrived, although the management team was very responsive and had someone come out that same day to fix it, which we appreciated. The ice maker also worked intermittently, which was a little inconvenient since we were relying on it for beach coolers.The property was generally clean, although there were two dead roaches in the kitchen when we first arrived
