BEFORE YOU BOOK PLEASE READ - THIS PROPERTY IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR EVERYONE IN WINTER
From November 1- April 15 please be aware that the Utah Department of Transportation and Town of Brighton rules about canyon travel require snow tires (3PMSF) or chains to make it safely up the canyon and to the home. YOU MUST MEET THESE REQUIREMENTS TO MAKE IT TO THE HOME. Snow plowing on neighborhood roads is provided by local vendors and intermittent. DO NOT TAKE UBERS OR LYFTS TO THIS PROPERTY. Cottonwood Lodging does not have control over snow plowing. Plan to check in between 4pm-8pm at the latest which helps to avoid unplowed roads if it is storming and note that this home can accommodate ONLY 2 vehicles.
Winter Guided Arrival:
- At the request of the town of Brighton to ensure that no one gets stuck or lost and disturbs the locals, a staff member will meet you on the main road and guide you to your property. Plan to check in between 4pm-8pm at the latest. This ensures we can provide assistance if necessary and helps to avoid unplowed roads if it is storming. Please do not arrive on your own even if you have stayed with us before. This keeps a positive relationship with the neighbors who appreciate it.
