Dies ist meine Vollzeitresidenz und ich habe beschlossen, sie für ein paar Wochen pro Jahr zu mieten. Sie steht für Aufenthalte von mindestens vier Nächten zur Verfügung. Gerade installiert, superschnelles, privates Dualband-WLAN. Alle ursprünglichen Eigentumswohnungs- / Mietmöbel wurden ersetzt. Ich habe installiert; Holzböden, Doppelspülmaschine, Waschmaschine und Trockner, Flachbildfernseher in jedem Zimmer, Bose-Stereoanlage, erhöhte Terrassenmöbel und vieles mehr. Sie werden meinen Kristallstiel und Besteck, neues Kochgeschirr, Kaffee- und Espressomaschinen, einen Doppelschwenkkühlschrank mit gefiltertem Wasser und eine Eismaschine, eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner, 600 Laken auf zwei Königen und ein Queensize-Bett verwenden. Das Hauptschlafzimmer mit Aussperrung verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett (Select Comfort), einen elektrischen Kamin, eine Flachbild-HDTV-Miniküche mit Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle, ein Fenster zum Deck und einen großen Sitzbereich. Das zweite Schlafzimmer befindet sich direkt neben dem Wohnzimmer und verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett, einen Flachbild-TV, Doppelfenster, einen großen Kleiderschrank und eine abschließbare Tür. Den Flur hinunter, hinter den Glasschiebetüren zum Deck, befindet sich das dritte Schlafzimmer mit ausklappbarem Queensize-Bett, Schrank, Flachbildfernseher, Doppelfenstern und abschließbarer Tür (keine Höhle, die als Schlafzimmer bezeichnet wird). Ein Skiraum befindet sich nur eine Etage tiefer auf dem Weg zu den Liften. Die kompletten Einrichtungen des Club Solitudes befinden sich direkt unterhalb und im selben Gebäude. Sie müssen nicht in die Kälte gehen, um zu trainieren oder die Whirlpools und den Pool im Freien zu genießen. Beobachten Sie die Kinder von der 50-minütigen Terrasse aus, die sich über den Eingang der Lodge und den Poolbereich erstreckt. Sowohl eine Esstheke mit Hockern als auch ein ausziehbarer Esstisch bieten Platz für alle in Ihrer Gruppe. Das extrem große Wohnzimmer mit Gaskamin, HDTV und luxuriösen Ledersofas bietet die perfekte Umgebung zum Entspannen nach dem Skifahren. Our host, Kerry was fantastic. He responded quickly to all questions and was very accommodating. The location of the place was fabulous. We were overlooking the pool, 1 floor up from the workout and game room and easy walk to the ski lift. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need and then some. It was nice having a washer and dryer as we needed to get some laundry done (detergent and dryer sheets were provided). Will definitely stay again.

Fantastic stay over New Years for two families. After a tricky check in, Kelly’s place was a welcome respite from the cold snowy conditions. Spacious and tidy accommodations, fully stocked kitchen, parking spot, hot tub, games room- and more. Suggest stocking up on food and drink before checking in as options in Solitude Village can be limited and pricey. Kelly was prompt with responses to inquiries and patient with supporting international guests. Don’t hesitate when booking this spot.

Yes my home is directly above the East Hot Tub at Club Solitude, you can find the Club one floor down, with sauna's, billiard room, theater, gym, game room and great room to relax by the fire. No reason too trudge through the snow from another building. John, thank you for taking good care of my home,

Great stay

Kerry's condo was perfect for us. The location could not have been more convenient, as the pool/hot tub is just downstairs, and it is a very short walk to the slopes. The finishes in the condo were very nice, and we were very comfortable for our whole stay.

Beautiful and very comfortable. Really nicely appointed.Easily accommodated 3 adults and 3 children.Impeccably clean.Terrific location a short walking distance to the Apex Express ski lift. Ski-in ski-out. Property owner was very responsive, friendly, great communication.Property has great amenities, the kids loved the outdoor hot tub and pool. Conveniently located, right near all the restaurants in Solitude Village. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Everything we hoped for

Great Property, Great Owner

This is what VRBO is all about, dealing direct with an owner who is both a pleasure to deal with and extremely responsive. We found the unit to be in great shape, well maintained and all that we thought. For families its great to be next to the hot tub and heated pool, no long walks in the snow. The owner made us feel right at home, providing a nice gift basket and card upon arrival. Having booked many units through VRBO I'd put this one at the top.

Excellent condo for a family ski vacation in Solitude

Excellent condo; great location in the same building as Club Solitude, very short stroll (ski out) to the lifts past a few village shops. Very livable with extras that make it like home (condiments, coffee, lots of flatware, many wine glasses, etc) - it is the owner's home. Excellent skiing, with no lift lines, great snow, and a variety of runs - ski locker on the main floor. Very quiet village - Solitude lives up to it's name. The owner was very helpful and responsive. Overall, made for an outstanding family vacation.

Beyond our expectations

My family has been to Solitude nine times and this was by far the nicest unit we've ever rented. Not only is the unit beautiful and comfortable, it is extremely well equipped--the owner thought of every detail to make our stay enjoyable. Normally we have to purchase the basics--laundry supplies, kitchen staples, etc..., but that was all taken care of for us, which we greatly appreciated. The whole rental process was seamless. When we visit Solitude again, we will definitely try to get this wonderful home. You can trust the description of this property; don't hesitate to rent this unit.

A+ UNIT!!!

This is our third visit to Solitude. This unit is top-notch and is our favorite by far. Having 3 full bedrooms was a definite plus traveling with kids. The beds were all comfy and all have a wonderful view of the mountain. The patio is a great feature. It is more than twice the size as the others and looks right out over the pool. There was no problem with the noise even when there were lots of people enjoying the pool/spa. The unit itself was very clean, nicely decorated and well-stocked. The washer and dryer was a huge plus as well! Solitude was great despite the locals saying they needed snow. Conditions here were better than any other mountain...as usual. 50 degree days and blue skies. Love Solitude. Kerry was a pleasure to work with and we hope to stay with her again next Spring Break. Thanks Kerry!

Our new favorite spot to stay!

I can not say enough about this unit or the experience with the owner! Because this is a primary residence, it is furnished and decorated and supplied with everything you could want and need. It is so much nicer than some of the "rental only" properties. The layout was perfect for our family (two couples plus one child) with everyone having their own space. The owner went above and beyond with communication before and during our stay to make sure that we knew exactly what was available during our stay and that we had everything we needed. We even arrived to a lovely welcome basket! The unit is ideally located overlooking the pool and hot tub with a very large deck and it is very convenient to Club Solitude and the ski lockers on the first floor (which the owner lets you use). Garage is great if you have a car or need a place to unload your luggage from a car service. Solitude is a great location for families and we enjoyed the planned activities for the kids each evening (magic show, animal show, smores, etc.). The ski school for kids was so much better than at other resorts. All of the employees seemed to like working with kids and they were more organized than others. Although we were there during a busy vacation week, lift lines were never long and the runs were not crowded. It's great to have ski rentals, restaurants, a gift shop, and bar within a short distance of your front door. We hope to rent here again next year!

1 of our best winter vacations ever......

Property as advertised beat expectations, we were really impressed with location to the mountain, location to the pools/hot tubs and club house. Kerry was a wonderful host, lot's of communication pre, during and post stay, checking in to make sure we were prepared, had what we needed and enjoyed ourselves. If we had a question or needed some help figuring something out, Kerry was there to help. Condo itself was great for our group of 7. Proximity to Solitude (right there) was awesome, Brighton right up the street also awesome, Salt Lake restaurants and shopping just a short ride out the canyon, if you couldn't find what you were looking for in/around Solitude. Outstanding location and amenities.

Great location. Short walk to lifts. Hot tub right downstairs. Nice gym downstairs. Great place to reconvene for a Christmas family ski trip. Plenty of space for our family of five. Very comfortable accommodations. Kerry was a pleasure to deal with throughout the booking process and our stay. Didn’t bother going out to eat, the kitchen was well stocked with anything we had forgotten to pick up down at the grocery store in the canyon. Absolutely no complaints and would love to be lucky enough to stay here again in the future.

welcoming, high end ski location

Great convenient condo!

Very nice accomodations

We enjoyed our stay in Solitude. The condo was very well stocked with spices, cook wear and glasses and we really appreciated that for family dinners. The third bedroom does have a door but it is a pull out couch not an actual bed. The deck is awesome but not really usable in the winter time with freezing temperatures. The master bed was very comfortable. We had some issues with the keys because only some of them worked so that was tricky but we managed. Only recommendations would be kleenex and info on where to put trash (it is in the garage). Otherwise we really appreciated being able to share spices and condiments so we could actually cook and having nice cooking tools and pots/pans. Thanks for a great time and easy communication. It was our fault we did not call you about some of the keys not working. We loved the easy walk to the mountain, rental shop and restaurants in the village. We only used our car to check out a few other ski mountains. If you plan to stay in Solitude you would not need a car staying in this condo which is a plus.

I agree with your suggestion of not needing a rental car, everything you need is right there at Solitude. The transportation companies (too and from the airport) are glad to run by the store(s) you wish to visit and wait while you pickup your groceries. I'm sorry for the issues you had with the key cards, key reprogramming can be done one floor below my home, in Club Solitude or at the Reception Center, at the front of our building "Eagle Springs East", right by the garage door entrance. Thank you for the suggestions, I'll be sure to include Kleenex in the supplies I stock for my guests. I'll also add directions for the garbage bins in the garage, to my household instruction package. Excellent accommodations!

We loved everything about our stay...well stocked with all of the supplies we needed for our family holiday vacation! Very nice furnishings with great views of the mountain and easy access to pool, hot tubs and slopes!

Solitude Condo

Solitude is a fantastic spot. We had a very nice time. Kerry was great to work with. There are no significant negatives, but there are a few things to be aware of. We have 3 teens so 2 had to sleep in the same bed, however, it was a king size. While it is not a remote location, the area is not highly developed. My daughter fell ill and it took about a 25 minute drive each way to get medicine for her. Overall, great condo and would be happy to return.

G, Thank you for taking the time to provide a review on my home. Like you I find the atmospheare at Solitude much like an alpine village and not "highly developed". Travel up and down the canyon is quite safe, although it can be time consuming. The small general store at Solitude has the basics, however to obtain prescription drugs you must drive into the valley. 15-30 minutes, depending on road conditions. Over the Holidays the snows that came, almost every day, made your skiing experience one of the best early seasons in recent memory. I look forward to hosting you again. Kerry
