Casa Moonshine Two Casitas - Private pool, AC, short walk to a beautiful beach!

Casa Moonshine is a modern, self-sufficient home in the peaceful, beachside community of Los Zacatitos. We offer two booking options based on your group size. Two Casitas for up to 4 adults or Three Casitas for up to 8 adults. The casitas are never rented individually to separate parties. You will enjoy the privacy of having the entire property to yourselves with either choice.

The Space
THIS OPTION INCLUDES TWO POOLSIDE CASITAS with a tranquil lounge pool and a palm-thatched roof palapa surrounded by giant Cardón Cacti and gardens that complement the natural scenery. A newly built rooftop patio is the cherry on top. You won't want to miss the sunsets from this incredible vantage point!

Can accommodate up to 4 adults and 2 children with two queen beds, and two cots.

DETAILS
Fall asleep to the soothing rhythm of the Sea of Cortez. Wake up to a symphony of songbirds. Casa Moonshine is a modern retreat in a rural Baja paradise designed with privacy and serenity in mind. Playa los Zacatitos, a pristine, swimmable beach, is only 1/4 mile away.

The two identical poolside casitas each include:

- A comfortable queen-sized bed and a single cot mattress to accommodate one child.
- Air conditioning.
- Fully stocked kitchenette (refrigerator, oven, sink, stove, coffee maker, and necessities for cooking and dining.)
- Full bathroom including towels, shampoo, conditioner and soap.
- Floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall sliding glass doors bring in plenty of natural light and stunning cactus and pool views.

The swimming pool is a few steps outside the studio casitas. Giant cacti, palm trees, and blooming desert foliage provide a picturesque backdrop and privacy barrier. The pool's shallow end is about a foot deep and perfect for wading, while the deep end is ideal for swimming or taking a refreshing dip on a hot day.

The cozy outdoor living area, under the cool shade of the palapa, provides abundant comfortable seating and plenty of room to gather and enjoy your meals together. The palapa is the place to be for a mid-day siesta in a hammock, to tune out and read a book, play card games, or kick back and relax with a cold beverage.

A sufficient workstation could be set up under the palapa for those who work remotely. A reliable wi-fi connection is available throughout the property.

GUEST ACCESS
With this booking option, guests of Casa Moonshine have access to the entire half-acre property, including the poolside casitas, palapa, rooftop patio and pool. There will not be access to enter the Garden Casita, but it will not be rented to a separate party. During your stay, you will enjoy the privacy of having the property all to yourself.

NEED MORE SPACE? Casa Moonshine can now accommodate up to 8 Adults with the completion of our new two-bedroom Garden Casita!
The Garden Casita sleeps up to 4 adults with one queen bed and two twin beds, including two connecting bedrooms and one full bathroom. It does not have a kitchenette. The Garden Casita will not be rented separately or to individual parties. It is only offered as another option to accommodate larger parties. Other things to note
OFF-THE-GRID
Casa Moonshine is a self-sufficient home in the off-grid community of Zacatitos. We rely on solar power, water storage, and septic systems. Conservation of these resources is necessary.

OUTDOOR LIVING
Casa Moonshine was designed to embrace and enjoy the outdoors. The casitas provide comfortable indoor shelter for sleeping and cooking, while the plentiful outdoor living areas are for gathering and enjoying the serenity of the desert by the sea.

WILDLIFE
Zacatitos is home to an abundance of wildlife. During your stay, you will surely meet some of these friendly locals. Wild Burros, Free Range Cattle, Deer, Silver Fox, Iguanas, Rabbits, Vultures, Hawks, and a wide variety of other birds and reptiles.

The East Cape is wild terrain in the Sonoran Desert on the Sea of Cortez. With that comes many interesting life forms, including plants, insects, reptiles, and sea life. That is why we love it! We take pride in our thorough cleaning practices but try not to use harmful chemicals that will hurt the unique ecosystem.

SECURITY
Zacatitos is a safe and peaceful community. The property owners invest in a 24-hour security team, whom you will meet anytime you enter or leave the neighborhood and will see them patrolling on four-wheelers at night.
