Welcome to The Lilypad - a charming beach cottage, featuring 3 bedrooms all on one floor, plus a lower level bonus sleeping area/rec room. Live like a local in this quiet, peaceful neighborhood, less than a 10 minute walk to Sheridan Beach on Lake Michigan. Grill out under the stars or enjoy a glass of wine by the fire pit, or retreat to the lower level to enjoy a family movie night on the oversized couch.
Just minutes to the best of Michigan City's restaurants & pubs, outlet mall shopping, casinos, the zoo, playgrounds, and more. Up to two well-trained dogs are allowed - security deposit required.

Good time near the lake

Good amount of space for our 6 adults! Nicely decorated, lots of friendly wildlife, but still in a neighborhood. Shower is not desirable (uneven, creaky floor) but everything else was good.

Beautiful house but a few minor issues

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was stunning! Close enough to the beach that you can walk, but not a part of the main Beachwalk community. Per rental agreement, we were going to have to buy wristbands and parking passes for our stay, but when we got there, the office informed us we wouldn’t have access to the facilities because we were off main campus so we wouldn’t need to purchase those (no big deal for us!). The shower does creak when you use it and feels like you might fall through, lol. Our microwave and quite a few outlets didn’t work despite checking the breaker box, and our back door lock was broken. I did let the office know about the microwave and lock and they were able to come out same day to fix the lock! Microwave still wasn’t working when we left. Overall good stay, but a few hiccups that may need to be addressed for the next renter!
