Our Beachwalk vacation

Our weekend getaway was an absolute delight at this VRBO! The home was furnished with everything we could imagine from every kitchen appliance to extra blankets and toiletries one could need. The karaoke stage in the basement was amazing and it was so fun to see how the passion for music came out in the decor. We will definitely be returning!

Perfect Gathering Spot

A group of us rented this property to celebrate a co-worker’s retirement. It was the perfect gathering spot! We walked to the beach, hung out around the fire pit, played games, and did lots of karaoke. Such an amazing weekend at a beautiful place!

Great property! Fun extras in the basement for entertainment. Nice layout and decor. Floors are in need of a deep cleaning, we had lots of black feet. Other suggestion would be some new mattresses and bedding is outdated. Oh, and the oven needs cleaned as it set the smoke alarm off with every use.

Great house!

Our family wanted a spot where we could hang out and laugh and enjoy each other’s company - this is that spot. With it being cold and snowy- I can’t comment on any outside amenities but they all looked great and as advertised. The house had tons of seating. We cooked in almost all meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. The basement was very fun and exactly as advertised. The hosts are very responsive. Highly suggest this property. Thank you!

Fantastic place to stay for kids/adults of all ages!

On sunny days you have the pool, beach, kayaking, bicycling, etc., and if it rains, there are movies, video games, books, pool table, karaoke, and more. Plenty of space for everyone to enjoy their separate activities, with a nice large kitchen and eating area to gather for family meals. I would highly recommend this property.

Highly Recommend!

What a beautiful well maintained property and wonderful owners to work with! They had an informative binder full of instructions for the property and local ‘to do’s’, restaurants and menus. Plenty of space, large kitchen, lovely front porch to sit on and the house was very clean and comfortable. We only stayed for the weekend but we had 3 generations of family and everyone was comfortable and had plenty of room. Everything you need was provided. Tons of board games and entertainment for all. Karaoke stage, arcade game, and pool table in the basement was a huge hit for both young and old. Everything was absolutely amazing, we enjoyed our stay and would love to return next year.

Birthday Girls Trip

The online, check-in, and check-out process was very smooth. The owner was very nice, friendly, accommodating and helpful with all questions and concerns. The property is exactly as advertised and very beautiful. The amenities are excellent and it felt just like home! Our favorite part of the property was the basement entertainment area. We literally spent HOURS doing karaoke! Not even the cold and rainy weather put a damper on our celebration. There was only one thing that needs improvement...the mattresses in all, except one bedroom, need to be replaced. They were not comfortable. However, it was an overall EXCELLENT experience and we will definitely be back!

East of the Sun/Beachwalk

Our stay included grandmas, children, and grandchildren and there was something for everyone. We loved the golf cart and wagon to help transport things to the beach (which was a short walk away). We also took advantage of the pool, ping pong, kayaks, and paddleboats. The house was first rate and the karaoke stage proved a hit with young and old. Not flashy but the stock at the house (paper towels, tp, towels, blankets, etc) was top notch. Impressed the house didn’t have any stray sand!! The only negative would be the house (while clean and nice-smelling), the floors must have had ground-in dirt that turned our little ones' feet black. But not enough to deter a stay at this property again. We're already talking about coming back. We LOVED the house and the Beachwalk area. Thanks for the hospitality.

Great location, stay, renter, amenities..

Group of 10 high school grads with two chaperones and 2 younger siblings :) Everything was absolutely amazing from location , to space , to responsiveness of owner , etc etc. Location is walking distance to Michigan lake beach -- older kids used bikes daily - even did and 8 mile trek to cross into Michigan via bike. Golf cart was handy as well. Parking is good for two Small/medium cars , if more cars get the $5 pass and park in overflow ( easy walk back to house). We used the fire pit and grilled . The $15 arm bands are well worth it but be sure to reserve your time for tennis courts because they go fast !! ( pickle ball was 24/7 there). We all hd fun with karaoke machine !!! I am already talking with family about staying in this house for a multi family trip !! TONS OF GAMES IN THE HOUSE !!! Highly recommend!! **Oh --- the Jenga game I house ,, some previous guests hd a little fun I'm assuming so that's not kid friendly anymore --it's rated R. Our older kids got a giggle out of it though ;0)

We had such a wonderful stay at this home! The house was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for fantastic trip. The kitchen had lots of room to cook and gather, was fully equipped, and perfect for enjoying meals together.The basement was such a fun bonus space with Ms. Pac-Man, karaoke, and a pool table—it kept everyone entertained for hours! The owner was extremely responsive and made the whole process easy from start to finish.Highly recommend this home for families or groups looking for space, comfort, and plenty of fun extras. We’d definitely stay here again!
