The Space:
Situated on the alley side of the beautiful brick-laid Jones Street, the carriage house is among many of the historic buildings of Savannah that take you back to the colonial past.
Enter the second-floor cottage from your private entrance. As you head upstairs, you immediately enter an open-concept design between the kitchen and living room. Although small, the carriage house was designed to maximize your space and provide a perfect place to relax at the end of the day.
The kitchen provides ample storage space and is fully equipped with everything you need. Featuring brand-new appliances, pots, pans, cookware, and dishware, you will have everything you need to cook during your stay. Extended stays are easy with a washer/dryer combination tucked under the kitchen cabinets.
Directly off the kitchen is a comfortable wrap-around sectional providing dining space with a raised coffee table. A smart TV hangs on the wall, ready to stream your favorite shows while you unwind from a day of exploring.
Down the short hallway, you will find one bedroom and one bathroom. The bathroom features a shower/tub combination, new custom tile, and a single vanity. The bathroom has all essentials, including toilet paper, towels, shampoo, body wash, and a hair dryer.
At the back of the cottage is the one bedroom featuring a comfortable queen mattress wrapped in fresh linens and plush pillows. Oversized nightstands provide additional storage, and a dedicated workspace makes this a perfect place to set up a home office if working remotely during your stay.
Guest Access:
The entire carriage house is for your use!
The Neighborhood:
The Carriage House is located just northwest of Forsyth Park on the west side of the Historic District. Surrounded by some of the best dining options in town, you are just a minute's walk from many of the local and out of towner favorites.
Grab a delicious southern bite and Mrs. Wilke's Dining Room. Pour a perfect pint at the Crystal Beer Parlor, or start your day with a short walk to Savannah Coffee Roasters.
Short strolls towards the river walk will only increase your options with places like Noble Fare, fine dining, The Olde Pink House, The Lady & Sons, Chart House, and many more.
Start your bar/pub tour by stopping into some staples of Savannah, including Six Pence Pub, O’Connell’s Irish Pub, or Dub’s Public House. Enjoy riverfront views at Myrtle & Rose Rooftop Bar down on the river walk.
Are you looking to shop while you are in town? You are just a 14-minute walk from the famed City Market, where you can enjoy endless boutique shops and many brand-name stores.
Explore the rich history of Savannah by stopping into one of the many museums and historical sites. Just minutes from Blue on Broad are the Web Military Museum, Telfair Museums, Owens-Thomas House & Slave Quarters, and the American Prohibition Museum.
A stop in Savannah wouldn’t be complete without a walk-through of Forsyth Park, just a 20-minute walk away. Or enjoy Washington Square, another beautiful green space just minutes away.
Want to take it all in at once while riding or biking? We are just minutes from Old Town Trolley Tours of Savannah and Savannah Bike Tours.
Getting around is easy with walkable streets, bike rentals, and Uber service. Jump on Savannah’s public transit system with the Price & Gordon SB bus stop just a 3-minute walk from the townhome.
Ready for a little on-the-water adventure? Try out the Savannah Belles Ferries to see the beautiful skyline of Savannah from the riverfront.
Getting Around:
Aside from being able to walk to everything, if you should need a ride, we suggest taking Uber/Lyft as parking can be a nightmare. There is also a FREE shuttle bus called The Dot that connects you all around town and it is just around the corner at Whitaker and Jones. This runs until midnight on Friday and Saturday nights!
