Nestled in a wooded area of Seabrook Island close to the Beach Club and Island House, This Summerwind Cottage was recently refreshed. Featuring an open kitchen with granite counters and new appliances, a luxurious primary bath with tiled walk-in shower, comfortable upscale furnishings and careful attention to detail, this cottage will provide a comfortable home in which you can truly kick back, relax, and enjoy your get-away.

You are sure to love the comfortably appointed screen porch for relaxation or dining. Three ceiling fans keep the air moving even in the hottest days of summer. The adjoining deck includes a Weber gas grill for your cooking enjoyment. The living space features high speed Wi-Fi connectivity along with a large sectional sofa, a wall-mounted flat panel TV and stereo.

Fully stocked, the kitchen has plenty of cookware, serving pieces and dinnerware. Basic condiments & spices are stocked for your use as well. The kitchen is open to the dining space and provides an eat-at peninsula, a pantry to store your food, granite counters and new stainless steel appliances. The adjoining dining space has a large table with seating for eight.

Each bedroom has a TV, and plenty of space to store your things. The primary bedroom has a king size bed & is tucked on one side of the villa with a private bath & screen porch access. On the other side of the living spaces are two additional bedrooms with queen beds and a full bath. The home will accommodate 6 people comfortably.

Guests can stream using their own log ins or free streaming services.

The ground-level spaces include a comfortable seating area, a hammock and a shower perfect for washing away sand.

Seabrook Island is a private gated community located 23 miles from historic Charleston, SC. With ancient live oaks, towering palms, and abundant wildlife, the island is a beautiful retreat for vacationing. The beach is wide, clean, and three miles long. Dolphin play in the waters just off-shore. Deer are plentiful on the island and are frequently spotted while walking or driving around.

The lack of commercial development and hotels keeps the island quiet and pristine. Still, there is plenty to do. The Seabrook Island Club facilities feature a beautiful beach club with two swimming pools and an ocean side bar and restaurant (seasonally, as it is outdoors). The golf club is located within the Island House, a beautifully appointed facility across the street from the beach club with many terraced seating areas, a lounge, restaurant, and pro shop. World class tennis facilities with clay courts and its own pro shop draw many avid players and can be used for a nominal hourly rate. Unique to Seabrook is a large equestrian facility where you can book riding lessons, trails rides or beach rides, or simply stop by to feed and visit the horses. If the equestrian center activities are of interest, it is recommended that you make reservations well in advance of your stay on the island. Be sure to ask about required attire for the rides so you pack appropriately. During the summer numerous organized activities are offered, and live entertainment occurs several nights of the week. AMENITY CARDS FOR ACCESS TO THE CLUB ARE PROVIDED AT NO ADDITIONAL COST, and are required in order to enjoy the previously mentioned facilities.

Just off the island you will find numerous restaurants ranging from pizza and burgers to fine dining. At Freshfields Village, located just outside the Seabrook Island gate, is a full-service grocery store, many specialty shops, coffee shops, beach/surf shops, and a pharmacy. Also nearby are wonderful produce stands with locally grown vegetables and freshly caught seafood, and Bohicket Marina with boat rentals and tours, restaurants and shops.

No trip to Seabrook would be complete without a day of sight-seeing in Charleston. This historic city boasts beautiful historic homes, wonderful dining, numerous sightseeing tours, antique shops, and golf courses. We have assembled a guidebook with information about area attractions, including driving directions. You might wish to peruse the book while relaxing on the porch with a refreshing drink.

*Seabrook Island Property Association (SIPOA) charges for all gate passes.

Gate passes are $45/ vehicle. This charge applies if you are staying 1 night – 179 nights. If you are staying more than 179 nights, there is a different charge.
MAXIMUM number of passenger vehicles which may be parked during the overnight hours of 11 pm-7am, which require a gate pass: 3
The first gate pass is included in your stay. You must call our office if you require more than one gate pass

LSV (Low Speed Vehicle) RENTALS PERMITTED at this property. An LSV requires the use of one of the gate passes included in the maximum number of vehicles passes.
Requirements for LSVs
Must be registered and insured, have a 17-digit VIN and display an LSV license plate, display a valid SIPOA entry pass issued specifically to that vehicle. Drivers must have a valid driver's license. No off-road tires allowed
Usage Restrictions:
For street use only. No use on bicycle paths, walking paths, golf course cart paths, boardwalks, or beaches. Follow SIPOA vehicle and parking rules.
Safety Requirements: SC seat belt laws apply to all occupants. Child seats are a must. SIPOA officers and CCSO will stop vehicles with unsecured children

Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel more than 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, you receive your funds back, minus $250. If you cancel within 30 days of your arrival date, you lose your funds. If able to re-book it, you will receive what we rent it for, minus the $250. Feel free to ask any other questions you may have.

For monthly winter rentals the policy is as follows: For cancellation made up to 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, the deposit will be refunded less a $250.00 cancellation fee. For cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, all monies are forfeited. If able to rent the contracted dates after a cancellation, Guest will be refunded an amount equal to new rental rate minus the $250 Cancellation Fee. The amount refunded is not to exceed the amount paid by the Guest under the terms of the Rental Agreement.
